If you use the Offical Template just create a new folder in /system in the module zip/folder

No - WAY more Simple - The Template has a folder called system already.
If you just downloaded it, there should be a placeholder file.
Remove the Placeholder and Create just a new folder in the folder of the module - no need to edit any Prop File for moving files just to anything within /system.

Exactly.
Any addition in the /system folder in the module (files, folders, whatever you want) will be added at runtime into the real /system directory as an overlay to the existing files/folders. If the file/folder is not already there in the original /system directory, it will be created at boot.
I don't know if it made any changes or not. But i flashed for the bois. Thanks for making this.

This guide will help you activate "Round Icons" on your android device. Take note that round icon isn't provided by launcher but the app itself. Every app that supports round icon will provide two type of icons (normal and rounded), so what will we do is enabling using the round icon provided by OEM by change framework-res.apk in our devices.

- Custom ROM based on Android Nougat 7.1.1
- Must be rooted!
- Root Explorer
Navigate to this location: \root\system\framework\
Replace the current framework-res.apk file to the modified framework-res.apk which can be downloaded here.
Note: It is recommended to copy it from recovery, but you can also copy it directy via root explorer but your device will restart instantly
Last is clear the pixel launcher data
App Info -> Storage -> Clear Data
What I only did is I edited the \framework-res\res\values\bools.xml and change the value from
<bool name="config_useRoundIcon">false</bool>
to
<bool name="config_useRoundIcon">true</bool>
This will trigger the launcher to use the round icon of any apps that are supported.

As long as you are on official or custom rom based on OB12 Android 7.1.1, there will ne no hiccups doing this one. Just simply copy and replace the file.
If you are encountering problems or stuck in a bootloop, copt and replace the file using your custom recovery.

I get a lot of requests to remove the NavBar. I'm posting this mod at each phone's forum themes section. TWRP flashable zip. Restore zip will be created in a folder named ozop on your sdcard.
Example below with 3rd party navbar.
NavBar Gone 8.0 November update
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673791459329061134
NavbarGone 8.1
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673791459329061956
Installation instructions for those of you that have root, but do not have TWRP. Busybox must be installed first.
1. Download the enclosed vrthemeADBversion zip and readme.txt for copying and pasting purposes.
2. Unzip the vrthemeADBversion zip to your sdcard. Rename folder to vrtheme
3. Put the readme.txt on your PC where you use adb.
4. Download appropriate NavBar Gone zip. Unzip and copy the system folder that is inside the vrtheme folder to the root of your sdcard.
5. On the root folder of your phone, find the data folder and create a folder inside it named tmp
6. Copy the vrtheme folder you earlier extracted to your sdcard to newly created data/tmp folder (/data/tmp/vrtheme)
7. On PC, with your phone connected and in file transfer mode, open CMD prompt and type "adb devices" without quotes. If your serial number comes up you can proceed.
8. Copy and paste the command lines from the readme.txt (include quotes)
adb shell su -c "mount -o rw,remount /system"
Hit enter
First time you will be promoted by SuperSU to give adb permission.
Copy and paste the second line in readme.txt
adb shell su -c sh /data/tmp/vrtheme/installtheme.sh
There is also a Mod installer zip. If on Windows operating system you can unzip it where adb is running and run the bat file instead of typing or copying and pasting the commands.
Wait until everything runs, after a pause of a few seconds your phone will reboot and your NavBar should be gone.

Hey Guys,
if someone wants the iOS10 default ringtone and some nice notification/alarm sounds of it, I made 2 zips I extracted from Alexis ROM (Galaxy S6) a few years ago.
If you want the default ringtone, just download iOS10 ringtones.zip below and extract the folder with root explorer in
Code:
/system/media/audio/ringtones
and give the ringtone permission 0644 (rw-r-r). Reboot phone and enjoy.
Same for notifications: download zip, and extract it to
Code:
/system/media/audio/notifications
and give all notifications 0644 (rw-r-r) permisision also. Reboot once again.
If this was helpful for you, I would be happy if you hit THANKS :good:

Sure do. Tried 2 different file managers but no joy. No worries though, I was able to select and use the notifications i wanted by applying from the relevant apks directly. So all good.
Unzip the files and save them in a file folder that you have in the root of the memory, I have saved it in my Zedge folder, then when configuring the sound you choose storage tone and there you have them, I am not root said on the way

You have to extract the files inside the specific folders and then change the permissions for it.

I tried to add those files to system/media/audio/ringtones, however I was unable to copy those files. No permission.

Check Magisk if your filemanagers have superuser rights.
I got no problems at all. Downloaded the files, extracted in download folder en copied the files into the right folders.
No difference bro.
Than do it in TWRP or Mount System R/W common logic.

Could you please tell me how to do mount system R/W common logic?
Looks like this my phone problem, I can't change permission of any of my files and I am rooted.
I don't have twrp.
Figured it out.
Thx
You guys do realise that you can literally extract the zip to your Ringtones folder (/sdcard/Ringtones) on your phone and then you can use them straight away, no root or Magisk needed, right?
Just tried it, works like a charm!

That's true, you can choose whatever mp3 ringtone/notification sound you want to.

Not just mp3, any sound file like aac, or OGG which is in these zips!
The path for the ui sound is actually /system/product/audio/ringtones
On android 10
On the ringtone part I experience a gap after every ring.

How to get Signature Spoofing working on Android 11 (R) Roms that have no support for Signature Spoofing?
In my Case here I use a Samsung Galaxy S8 with an unofficial LineageOS 18.1 (Android 11) by stricted
I use TWRP recovery but this should not matter !
First of all Flash your ROM and Magisk (you need to download the latest version to get Magisk working on Android 11)
Link for my ROM in case anyone needs it:
dreamlte(s8): https://images.stricted.net/test/18.1/lineage-18.1-20201231-UNOFFICIAL-dreamlte.zip
dream2lte(s8+): https://images.stricted.net/test/18.1/lineage-18.1-20201231-UNOFFICIAL-dream2lte.zip
greatlte(n8): https://images.stricted.net/test/18.1/lineage-18.1-20201231-UNOFFICIAL-greatlte.zip
Magisk Link: https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/tag/v21.2
Click on Build number (7x) to enable Developer Options
After that enable ADB-Debugging and Root-ADB-Debugging in your ROM in case of LineageOS go to Setting -> System -> Developer Options
So Lets go this is the more complicated part. but also really easy if you done it once.
I'm using Debian Linux but it should be possible on every OS. In Windows use the Linux Subsystem.
You need to have ADB installed on your System tho.
ADB link: https://adbdownload.com
First of all you need to download this 2 Files:
spoof_AVDapi30.zip.ONLY'MAGISK&ANDROID-STUDIO · 11-attempt · oF2pks / Haystack · GitLab
GitLab.com
gitlab.com
https://github.com/microg/GmsCore/files/5652857/microG_AVDx86api30_magiskMaRViN.zip
Rename "spoof\_AVDapi30.zip.ONLY'MAGISK&ANDROID-STUDIO" to "spoof\_AVDapi30.zip"
Next Download this zip: https://gitlab.com/oF2pks/haystack/-/archive/11-attempt/haystack-11-attempt.zip
Also download this jar file: https://github.com/DexPatcher/dexpa...nload/v1.8.0-beta1/dexpatcher-1.8.0-beta1.jar
So now unzip the haystack-11-attempt.zip and put the dexpatcher.jar file into to Folder.
This part I use Bash shell in Linux.
Bash:
adb pull /system/framework/services.jar
java -jar dexpatcher-1.8.0-beta1.jar -a 11 -M -v -d -o ./ services.jar 11-hook-services.jar.dex 11core-services.jar.dex
(After that Command you should have 4 files all named classes*.dex)
Bash:
mkdir repack
zip -j repack/services.jar classes*.dex
After that you should have a new services.jar in your repack Folder.
Now You need to open the spoof\_AVDapi30.zip go in /system/framework/ and delete the old services.jar and put your own file in. that's in your repack Folder.
Don't ruin the zip-format of the file tho because otherwise Magisk will cry while install.
After that put your spoof-AVDapi30.zip and your microG\_AVDx86api30\_magiskMaRViN.zip on your Phone and Flash via Magisk.
Reboot and you hopefully have Signature spoofig working. If you run in any Problems check out the GitHub Links here. there will be comments that maybe will help.
I also want to credit the real developers of this
on xda: Lanchon (DexPatcher & Haystack)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/m/lanchon.4141005/
I'm Sorry if there is ****ty English.
The best of luck for you guys i hope this helps.
Hello, I have a question, this ROM for the S8, is it in beta? or can it be used normally?
Thanks a lot, with the help of your instructions and files I installed it on my Mi Note 10 (tucana) with LineageOS 18.1!
However, it's not working when Magisk Hide is activated - any idea to combine both?
Thanks a lot too ~~ is very working grade ~~

So Magisk cried! It said not a Magisk module and 'installation failed'.
I re-zipped the spoof-AVDapi30 folder with included jar file, re-zipped by right clicking in Dolphin file manager and compressing as zip.
What am I doing wrong? How do I not ruin the zip-format? Thanks.
Thanks.
nb. I also renmaed it spoof\_AVDapi30.zip
Still the same fail.

Just open the zip on windows winrar on linux just click it. Go and find the .jar delete it and click on addfile and add yours. Pretty basic and if you know how to make a magisk-flashable zip you can also do that but my way is just a shortcut. But dont UNZIP.
