Movie on YouTube at 144p. - Vivo Nex Questions & Answers

I've had a problem with YouTube for a few days. After turning on any video, it plays back in tragic quality for 10 seconds. The quality showed 144p and after 10 seconds it changed to 480p. In the application settings, I set the preferred video quality to 2160p.Now it starts in tragic quality but it shows that there is 1080p...
The problem occurs on Wi-Fi and 4G.
The second problem, perhaps related, is loading XDA in Taptalk for a few seconds.
My Wi-Fi reaches 80Mb\s downloading and 10Mb\s upload.
I sorry for my English, I use Google Translate.

Usually the youtube problem is related to your own definitions. It charges in "adapt quality" wich means that he will allways charge the highest view quality possible that allows you to watch the video without buffers.
That being said, it's possible that you have another app that is consuming all of your data, wich keeps youtube from charging in HD (that or a Blootware/malware that is sending your personal info somwhere).
Anyway, none of that is normal and you should check it out fast

Fixed itself. You can close / delete the topic.

you could synch a normal video recording with text data recorded from something like nonigpsplot, even if that's not exactly what you're looking for...
There is something like you want :
-MyCar Recorder Lite
-DailyRoads Voyager
-AutoGuard
but... in my Defy all apps reboots phone after ~5 minutes of work.
"My Tracks" , but it does not do the video. Will record your route, avg. Speed, current speed, gps, altitude.

[Q] Video playback buzz audio

Hi all, yesterday I installed the Romulus rom and i begin to testing some things, when testing the camcorder I changed the media.stagefright.record parameter to false to record a video and it worked, but when I reproduced the video I hear a buzz in the audio as if the mic was too sensitive, i tried another videos that I record with another roms and I get the same result the buzz in the audio, then i tried some videos that I download from internet (game trailers, movies, etc..) and i dont hear the buzz in the audio, at last my last test was to tried the recorder video in the pc and again i hear the buzz. The thing is when i played another video in the pc that i record with other rom i hear the buzz too, so my question is Has anybody has notice this with any rom ???? Did other roms use some noise reduction to played the videos that the Romulus doesn't have???
Thank's for the help.
cheers
I just made a couple test videos while on Romulus, and I don't have a buzz.. Everything should be mostly stock on Romulus, so sound/video quality should be no worse than out of the box..
Also, what do you mean by reproduce the video? - just play it? Did you have anything plugged into your phone while you were recording (i.e. usb, headphones) that may cause interference?
One thing you can try is check the "Audio Scenes" settings in the camcorder...
Sent from my mind using XDA

When i'm saying reproduce the video i mean play the video (sorry for the confusion) , I didn't have anything plugged to my phone, but maybe your right i didn't check the audio scenes in the camcorder perhaps the solution is there, thank's for the tip i miss that .
By the way nice job with the romulus, i really like it and the mod lockscreen it's great.
Thank's again.

Odd problem: Playback stops for no reason sporadically - HELP !

Hi folks.
Sooner or later any audio playback stops, just as if I had pushed the pause button.
It affects different apps.
I deactivated each and every special feature in settings, no matter what it is, from gestures to case type. Blutooth and NC is deactivated.
It happens with and without case, wired or not, screen on or off, flight mode or WLAN or 4G.
Sometimes it happens a few times in a few minutes or even several times in one minute. Sometimes it doesn´t happen in an hour or more.
I´m completely clueless.... This is a serious problem for me. Who can help?
Same issue here. Watch a video and sound just stops. First time happened I also tried to start poweramp and same issue.
I need to restart the phone to get everything normal.
I feel the software is not complete, there are small bugs and issues that needs solutions.
I hope an update will get it right.
Oh no...
But wait: You say: Sound stops. But video playback continues? In my case, playback in general stops, not just the sound. But I did not see that with videos since I just playback audio files.
I found out, it seems, this affects not all apps. Too bad most apps are not satisfying. (for my personal needs)
There is a app called MyNoise. It creates sound scapes with generators. There is a "CPU-Mode" option where you can select 2 different CPU modes: "High CPU" and "Normal CPU". "High CPU" was created to prevent the app from stopping to work in certain situations because of power saving features. Maybe this is a hint.
Not sure if it's related but I've started having problems in the car, when I turn to my phone's on-board music (on SD card), there is a delay of approx. 10 seconds before any music plays. It never used to be like this, I may be wrong but I'm suspecting it's since the update to EMUI version 182.

Hi,
It may happen if you force the speed beyond the hardware capabilities. every hardware has its own limitations.
Let me explain with a simple example. Assume that your hardware is capable of playing 1080p at 60 fps. If you play a 1080p (30fps video) at 2x speed, then your hardware also needs to decode 2x frames. i.e 60 frames per second. But, it's the actual threshold of your device. If you increase more than that, then the video may not be reaching the required speed while audio may play at the required speed. If Audio Video is not in sync, then MX Player will pause the audio for a moment till video catches up with the audio position.
You can check some lower resolution or lower fps videos, It may go up to max speed (i.e 4x).

Dex - Controlling audio apps with phone screen off

Really loving Dex and Microsoft's Your Phone app.
Particularly for controlling DI.FM apps while listening to HD LDAC encoded HD radio streaming.
However it's annoying how I have to keep the screen on to do this. Is there any way to control audio apps with the screen off i.e. DI.FM etc?
The app would need the permissions to do so.
Poweramp does this quit well.
I've also seen a glitch in the Samsung browser do this while watching vids. If a vid is running and you hit the power button to turn off the screen after about 10 seconds the vid will resume, audio only. Just what you want but have doubts you could recreate it because of the OS and browser version difference. I assume Samsung corrected this.
