i got problem with viperFX driver after insalling it !!
in folder vendor/etc/ i found both of thoses files already : (audio_effects_conf.bak) and ( audio_effects_conf) but i couldnt rename or doing anything
how can i unsintall V4A and do frech install again ? thanks

There is single Sony music app that can be pushed in to system using root explore or ES file manager if your phone is rooted but sound effects will be missing...here is a single installable app...but you have to push is in system if it fails to install.
Create a folder named Music in Device/System/app.... With right permissions for folder rwx r-x r-x and put the given apk in the link with permissions -rw-r--r-- and reboot.
For permissions in es file manager....long press on apk after pasting in system/app/music or for folder permissions long press on folder after selection click on more and here click on properties in properties you can set permissions.

I use samsung galaxy Note3 (N900) lineage 14.1 ..working flawlessly(The package given in first post).... It should work on other devices without any problem..

The package that i have provided is package of sony music app with full features ....i tried almost all music app packages given on xDA with lineage 14.1 but didn't work with my BT handset SBH50....that why I build this one work flawless.....

Would this be compatible with Dolby Atmos?
If not, freezing it would soulve any possible issues? Still trying to find the best sound mod

Yes it is compatible with Dolby Digital ...you need to only freez your ROM's default audio effect like in lineage Rom there is Music FX is default sound effect app...

Try to clear cach or restart phone....if fails to boot....
May be conflict with audio libs...sorry for incompatibility ...with your os.

M'kay. I said package but each app of Pexomod is available as a standalone download. So there is one for Music app.

1st you have to disable the YouTube app before installing YouTube vanced if it is done correctly and also problem persists ...then
I don't know what's the problem......
I suggest you to ask this in their module thread link .
If there is no solution.
Reinstall your ROM along with official gapps (8.1) not the unofficial one ....

Hi all,
Since no one has posted a standalone S9 Dolby Atmos flashable zip yet, so I just make one during my semester break.
Tested and confirmed to be working on GoogleWiz V81 - September build(CRI5), should work on other TouchWiz based ROMs(with stock audio) too. *Please test and let me know.
Here's something that you can use to test it:
The best way to test is to switch between music and movie mode.
Official Dolby Atmos Trailers
You can play the videos with VLC
Installation
Please note that the installer will not backup your current system files, it will just overwrite them directly.
It is recommended that you backup your current setup before you flash the zip.
It is also recommended that you restore your system's original files every time before you install an updated version of the libs installer.
[Dolby Atmos Libs & Files]
If you just want to update/enable Dolby Atmos without upgrading your SoundAlive app, you may flash the Dolby Atmos Libs installer only without flashing the SoundAlive apk zip.
You should still get Dolby Atmos enabled, just that some new functions might be missing from your pre stone age SoundAlive app, eg: Game Mode

If you wish to update the SoundAlive App, it is recommended that you follow the instructions below:
Uninstall SoundAlive updates in Settings
Install System app remover[ROOT] to uninstall SoundAlive
Flash SoundAlive installer zip

Dolby Atmos Libs Installer
V-1.7.0 (16 Dec 2018)
The installer now edits the audio_effects.conf instead of replacing the entire file.
V-1.6.0 (9 Dec 2018)
Added a line in floating_feature.xml that's supposed to enable Dolby Atmos on speakers regardless of the version of SoundAlive. Credit to @SilentWorld for his findings.
New set_floating.sh to edit floating_feature.xml dynamically instead of replacing the file for higher compatibility with other phones
Removed a few libraries that are related to SoundAlive but not directly related to Dolby Atmos to increase compatibility
Speaker volume should be as loud as stock since related files which might cause the problem have been removed.
Removed a few Dolby's AC4 & DDP files since I can't get them to work/I don't know how to test if they worked
EDIT: AC4 & DDP may require complete stagefright libs port to work
Further edited some Samsung props in Dolby Atmos's libs to increase compatibility
Added a file in services.d based on foobar66's script to (hopefully) enable Dolby and UHQ tiles automatically

You need edit

It only works with earphones and bt headset, won't work on speaker.

It work without headphone, just replace sound alive apk l, i used the one from alexis rom

I get SoundAlive_52.apk from Alexis rom and replace it and everything is fine.
WARNING:Replace SoundAlive apk after flashing Dolby.zip.
If you don't do it,you lose true apk.
My advice to developer;change S8 SoundAlive.apk to bottom apk.
I add SoundAlive_52.apk from Alexis rom below.
EDIT:With this apk,dolby working for speaker.

It says app not installed. Dolby working perfectly in earphones but not on speaker. I am on googlewiz crd1

[GUIDE] How to install Dolby Digital Plus on Android Pie

For quite some time I've been looking for ways to install Dolby.
Whenever I tried to install this mod with other guides, Dolby closed itself and there was no way to use it.
Today, I found the method myself (by chance) to install DDP (Dolby Digital Plus)
REQUIREMENTS​
Android Pie
Root with magisk
Internet
4. Luck (does not usually work the first time)
DOWNLOADS​
All versions of dolby compatible with Android Pie-Oreo I recommend the latest version.
ViPER4Android Use only the STABLE version. Download via XDA Labs
Steps​
1. Download ViPER4Android from XDA Labs (https://labs.xda-developers.com/store/app/com.pittvandewitt.viperfx)
2. Download the ViPER drivers. Just enter the application and say "Yes" when the pop-up message appears. (The mobile will reboot)
3. Go to Magisk and verify that the Viper4Android module is installed.
4. Install this module in Magisk.
5. Download Dolby and install it in Magic from the "+" button in Modules.
6. Restart
7. Verify that we have the Dolby module and the application.
8. Now, you can open Dolby and it will work perfectly. If not, try again from the beginning.

Tested on a Xiaomi Mi A1
ROM: Resurrection Remix 7.0.1 May.

You just need Dolby unity and audio modification library from magisk.

The Dolby zip file is already in your first post and the audio modification library is in magisk's repository modules.

Ok, I know what you wanted to say. I tried to install Dolby and Audio Modification Library (without Viper4Android) and it did not work for me.
Could it be my rom??

I'm on resurrection remix and no problems, maybe you are on stock or having issues with others audio FX apps.

Yeah, uninstall that with titanium backup and try. I would try tho a clean flash if your system is too dirty for messing too many times installing that. or restore a clean backup.
