i think have people to build rom and kernel next time wait for it

This Recovery doesn't support backup!!!
It makes flashing nice, but no chance to get backup
After pressing Backup button recovery restarts and I see the main menu again
I tried to backup to Internal or to external storage or only one part (system) - the same problem
Maybe you can make another build?
For example, this recovery works super, but it is in chinese...

any chance to get recovery for A5 as well? x)

Yes, I also own the A700FD and would like the backup feature in twrp. It can be a bit tricky to compile. But it would definitely help once it's working. Appreciate the work!

Great to see so many awsome a7 owners here!
But unfornatly i got a problem which is keeping me away from using mine, i tried to flash my device today and beacuse of reasons my usb got disconected. Now when i try to reflash the stock firmware it crashes at hide.imi.ext4, after some googling i found that this probably means that my partitioning is broken, so i need a pit file in order to flash to stock firmware again.
could one of you very very please extract a pit file for me so i can use my device again?
I hope you guys can help me!

Man that's unfortunate. I have the FD model and apparently you'll need to have the PIT for the exact model of the phone.
If anyone can help this friend out, here is a guide to how to extract your pit file after rooting:

I've already downloaded different twrp images for hot 4 pro. But I'm still getting the same error. Please someone should come to my aid. I really have to root my phone asap

Instructions
1) Boot the device in current TWRP Recovery Mode
2) Wipe system/cache/data
3) Copy the TrebleCreator.zip and TWRP-jackpot2lte-Treble.img to your Internal/SDcard
4) Flash the TrebleCreator.zip through TWRP recovery
5) After completing your device will reboot to RECOVERY
6) Now touch INSTALL > Select Image > Locate TWRP-jackpot2lte-Treble.img
7) Flash TWRP-jackpot2lte-Treble.img to recovery
8) Reboot your device to recovery
9) Once TWRP is booted you first need to Mount > your /system, /vendor, /cache, and /data partition

1. phone can get booted into Download mode ( req. it's bootloader is unlockable )
2. ODIN flash tool to flash a matching Custom ROM

I think you haven't heard of GSI(Generic system image), if your device is treble supported you can download a GSI image and flash with a custom recovery and feel a fresh new rom, as we know Samsung a12 is treble supported, you can see the list of available GSI images from here --> https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/wiki/Generic-System-Image-(GSI)-list

sorry for my late replay but i installed GSI corvus and pixel experience they didn't work some of them lead me to fastboot mode some of them stuck on boot or boot loop but there is one thing that i didn't understand when i install them using DSU Sideloader Corvus and Pixel Experience they booted perfectly but when the screen goes out or when i locked it then the touch didn't work then i have to reboot to stock rom then restart to gsi rom and it works but like i said if i locked the screen or it self the touch goes to unresponsive. Thanks and sorry for my bad english

Any instruction? Last time i tried AuroraRom s22ultra twrp from the AuroraRom site, i was unable to flash with vbmera error. Anyone already flashed it?

I didn't see it was for all vaiants. I read the title it was for SD.

F2FS is always read-only. we can't remount it to RW

How were you able to reboot to system? I kept getting bootloop

Which version worked fine for you? one you linked on Google drive dosn't work on SD? Also on Aurora page it saying only for Exynose. Also Source ou have linked that also saying it's for Exynos only. Can you elaborate?
