Hi! So there are apps that have their own built in sounds for notifications. However, on my OnePlus 6 (OOS 9.0 Stable) I can hear those sounds only if the app is in the foreground. If the app is in background it plays the global default notification sound.
I'd like to know if there's anything I can do to have those apps play their unique sounds? I am rooted. Thanks!

Currently I'm on Android 5.1.1 (Oneplus2) which has the Soundapp MaxxAudio installed. Everytime I'm listening to music on youtube for example and at the same time i want to listen to a Whatsapp voice Message, the App automatically turns down the volume of the youtube music, so i can listen to the music in the background and at the same time hear my voicemessage. This is perfect for my using habits of the phone!
But i want to flash Android 7 and i couldnt find anything about a sound app with a similar function(And there is no version of MaxxAudio for Nougat). Does anyone know an app/mod/whatever so my beloved sound settings will work on Android 7?
