Without Magisk or Root. Anything?

You cannot modify the system without root.

You need root for pie emoji. For Google sans, if you have a ttf file, you can put it in the themes folder on your phone and apply it by customizing your current theme in the theme manager app

same question. Running emui. 8.0 can somebody provide Android Pie emoji Tff. file?

[Completed] [Q] Unicode 7.0 update on Android

Unicode is built into our phone ROMS.
Recently new emoji characters have been released as part of the Unicode 7.0 standard.
So my question is, is there a way we could force our phones to update and get the new emoji without waiting for our ROMs to be updated? Is there a way to install or add it with some app or Xposed Framework?
? ? ?
P.S. I can see them without any additional support on Windows 10.

Hi,
I'm afraid you can't do that, without a ROM update.
Sorry

How to use FlipFont on OnePlus One?

Hello, everyone! Sorry if this may come off as a silly question, but I was wondering.. how do you get FlipFont to work on the OnePlus One?
On my previous phone (HTC Desire 620) all you had to do was go to your device's settings and choose your own font from there, but I see that the only way to edit your font on Cyanogen, is from their own theme app. I tried installing that specific emoji/font app and trying to see if I was able to choose it from the theme editor, but nothing
Hope to get some answers, thank you!
iFont was able to generate cm themes compatible font files.

Emoji switcher

Anyone have an ideal why emoji switcher isn't working with my Samsung s7 rooted? Can't get it to work. I want to install emoji one style.
Thx an advance. I'm sorry I'm French btw.
Tried that too without success. Not sure wether it was working on my S6, I don't recall.
Probably because of touchwiz, we should hope for an update I guess.
Not of a fan of touchwiz emoji's, prefert the aosp ones.

From the information i skimmed through, it doesn't work on samsung phones, but what i did was just download the emoji font file, and replace the samsung one, there should be a lot of info on this if you just search for it.

Just found out, when I install the emoji one style from they site, the font have a weird issue. My keyboard show the good emoji but there is a bug with words. There have no space between word in text or anything else. Any ideal?
If you want to change emojis you need to get replace 1 file.
"SamsungEmoji.ttf" I think, then reboot. Just download like AOSP emoji and rename it to SamsungEmoji and put it in to /system/fonts

it worked :fingers-crossed:
It was "SamsungColorEmoji.ttf" in my S7, worked great. Thanks!
Can this download and renaming in /system/fonts be done without root?

Nope, it's in the root directory, so you'd need root to access it.
Can new emojis only show up if you send them to other Galaxy S7 phones? What happens when you send them to other phones?
When I used Galaxy S7 emoji file to replace my Galaxy S5 emoji file, all the emojis previously present on Galaxy S5/S6 correctly show up but mot the new ones.
Does that mean that additional font files are needed to display them correctly, in addition to renaming the emoji file from Galaxy S7 from SamsungColorEmoji.ttf to NotoColorEmoji.ttf on Galaxy S5/S6?
I replace the font with this one, got back Google's Emojis on the S7

Is there a way to replace emoji in Hangouts for Android 8.0?

Hello,
I saw this post about replacing the emoji in WhatsApp and Telegram using Substratum. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to do the same thing for Hangouts. I would like to get the blob emoji back for Hangouts in Android 8.0. I tried to find the source code for WhatsApp Emoji Changer or Sai's Fresh Theme (for Telegram) in order to see how they work and if it could potentially be adapted for Hangouts, but I couldn't find it. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
In case anyone finds this post and is also looking for a way to get the blob emoji back in Android 8.0, I have created a Magisk module to accomplish this. The link is here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-blobs-forever-blob-emoji-android-t3686479
