Hello, everyone! Sorry if this may come off as a silly question, but I was wondering.. how do you get FlipFont to work on the OnePlus One?
On my previous phone (HTC Desire 620) all you had to do was go to your device's settings and choose your own font from there, but I see that the only way to edit your font on Cyanogen, is from their own theme app. I tried installing that specific emoji/font app and trying to see if I was able to choose it from the theme editor, but nothing
Hope to get some answers, thank you!
iFont was able to generate cm themes compatible font files.

Has anyone packaged it into an .apk for us to install? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Or is there another way to get it back onto my phone after flashing a ROM with a custom font?

The above font is slightly modified (modified as in added few Indian language scripts. Found it as an attachment to a thread requesting Indic language support. Might help.
The font is named "Droid Sans Fallback".

And i just drop the .ttf in /system/fonts ?
Yes - you will need root access for that though. Also, I suggest you make a copy of the file already in there.
And of course, people say we need a reboot - pre WIndows ME style.
I just renamed the one already in there to DroidSansFalback.ttf.bak and then pasted the one you linked to. Did a reboot, but nothing's changed.
This is on Clean Fusion V3, if it matters.
Hi,
I had recently installed the 'Font Installer (Root) from the Play market. Initially, I tried out the more fancier, bold fonts on the SGSII. Now the problem is I can't revert back to the original font from Resurrection Remix v2.2.
Can someone help me how I can get the original fonts back or at least direct me to the path where the new fonts are being saved? I tried the system/fonts, but the fonts are not showing up there.

Anyone???
If the revert doesn't work you will have to reflash the to. The app takes the new font and renames it and then over writes the files. Look for the fonts folder and there should be a back up folder with the old fonts in it. If not then reflash

Did you try this?

Hi, Did you try this?
Font Changer > Advanced > Menu > Defaults ---> accept ---> Reboot
this should reset your system faults to system defaults...
Hope this helps...

Hello all- If I'm not mistaken the Chinese versions and Rom's of our Ascend Mate have the option of "online" when they go into the themes app. Is there a ROM I can run on my L09 which will give me that option ? What exactly would happen if I installed a Chinese ROM on my L09, not sure if it's possible but curious. Would like to get that "online" option in my themes app.
Cheers for any help !!

You can download themes from here
(Can't post links yet so just replace the xx with tt) hxxp://emui.huawei.com/cn/plugin.php?id=themezone&zone=theme
The first section are the latest themes and the second section is most liked themes. If you go into a theme and you see something like ¥2.00 under the screenshots it means you have to pay to download it. If it just says 下载(Download) you can download it.
Once you've got the .hwt file place it into the Hwtheme folder. Go into Themes app and it should appear at the top of the list.
If you flash the Chinese rom you should get the option to download themes from within the Themes app but you'll also get A LOT of unwanted apps that are only in Chinese. You also don't get access to the Play Store since Huawei have their own app store.
Anyone have an ideal why emoji switcher isn't working with my Samsung s7 rooted? Can't get it to work. I want to install emoji one style.
Thx an advance. I'm sorry I'm French btw.
Tried that too without success. Not sure wether it was working on my S6, I don't recall.
Probably because of touchwiz, we should hope for an update I guess.
Not of a fan of touchwiz emoji's, prefert the aosp ones.

From the information i skimmed through, it doesn't work on samsung phones, but what i did was just download the emoji font file, and replace the samsung one, there should be a lot of info on this if you just search for it.

Just found out, when I install the emoji one style from they site, the font have a weird issue. My keyboard show the good emoji but there is a bug with words. There have no space between word in text or anything else. Any ideal?
If you want to change emojis you need to get replace 1 file.
"SamsungEmoji.ttf" I think, then reboot. Just download like AOSP emoji and rename it to SamsungEmoji and put it in to /system/fonts

it worked :fingers-crossed:
It was "SamsungColorEmoji.ttf" in my S7, worked great. Thanks!
Can this download and renaming in /system/fonts be done without root?

Nope, it's in the root directory, so you'd need root to access it.
Can new emojis only show up if you send them to other Galaxy S7 phones? What happens when you send them to other phones?
When I used Galaxy S7 emoji file to replace my Galaxy S5 emoji file, all the emojis previously present on Galaxy S5/S6 correctly show up but mot the new ones.
Does that mean that additional font files are needed to display them correctly, in addition to renaming the emoji file from Galaxy S7 from SamsungColorEmoji.ttf to NotoColorEmoji.ttf on Galaxy S5/S6?
I replace the font with this one, got back Google's Emojis on the S7

Hi Guys,
When I extracted the Stock Nougat Firmware for ZE520KL/ZE552KL and ZS551KL, I found this fonts. The font is quite good though. Have a try guys.
Procedure:-
1) Download and install the APK.
2) Go to Settings>Display>Font Style>Choose the font
The font name is in Chinese but don't worry, it does not change the language.
Huh, these are Flipfont fonts designed for Samsung phones. A few years ago Samsung phones had the ability to switch the font on their phones and download new ones. They removed it in an update a few years ago, but it looks like based on this, ASUS actually still supports them.
