Not enough memory to restore backup, how to restore TWRP backup fold from PC wit abd? - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Well, I have had a problem with magisk yesterday, and I have an old backup of my system and data on my pc. I restored my system but my data backup is about 16gb and i copied it over but there is not enough room for it to restore. I looked up how to restore a TWRP backup folder from PC so I would have the room on my device, and was wondering if anyone had a guide I could follow?

[Q] [Help] How to restore Nandroid backup on encrypted phone?

I have Online Nandroid Backup and TWRP 2.8.0.0 installed on my OnePlus One (CM 11S 25R). The phone is encrypted, and I have made daily nandroid backups. Now I need to do a full restore from one of those backups, but when I boot into recovery, TWRP doesn't find the backups and doesn't recognize internal storage (it says 0 MB). So it seems TWRP can't recognize my encrypted partitions. How can I restore my full nandroid backup?
Do I need to do it from a computer somehow? Do I need to wipe something first?
I am a newbie.
Thanks

Reboot the phone and go into twrp recovery again and start the restore.
If it has the same issue again then there is something wrong with the backup OR you need to copy all folders
and files from the phone's internal memory to your computer (unless you don't care about loosing them) and
then format/wipe the internal memory.
After you do a fresh format, copy all the folders and files back to your internal memory.
Good luck!
Have a great day!

Cannot restore data for one app, have both TWRP and TitaniumBackup

I am having troubles restoring data on my wife's phone for an app called MyDressing. I have a full TWRP backup of all partitions that after restoring all partitions the data is still missing. I also did a backup of everything with Titanium Backup and a restore from that also doesn't restore the data. It is weird. It shows blank thumbnails for the pictures. I did not touch any data on the SD card other than to store TWRP and Titanium Backup data. Any suggestions on restoring this data or if somehow I didn't get it backed up in the first place? The phone is a Sprint Galaxy S5 that was running Ning the stock ROM when I did the backup.

Titanium Backup - Nandroid Restore from SD

I had my Galaxy S7 crash on my recently (rebooted the phone and was told SystemUI wasn't responding, so the phone stayed at a black screen).
Shortly before the crash I did a Nandroid backup of the phone as I was thinking of doing an OS update. That Nandroid backup is stored on my SD card.
Anyways, I did a factory reset, and am now trying to restore all my data. I've installed Titanium Backup, and trying to use the 'Restore from Nandroid backup' feature. I've given TiB SD card access, but it still can't seem to see the TWRP folder on the SD Card. I'd move the backup to my internal memory, but there isn't enough free space. I can barely fit the Nandroid backup on the internal SD, but there will be no room for the restored data.
Does anyone have an idea of how I can get TiB to see this folder on the SD card, or otherwise restore the Nandroid data?

What exactly do you want to restore from the nandroid backup? All of it? Or just certain parts?

TWRP questions that I haven't been able to find

Hello all, I had some TWRP questions that I have not been able to find the answer to because of the way that the question is worded, many other answers are coming up.
1) Can you restore a TWRP Nandroid backup to a device which has no external storage? Can you partition through TWRP and make a separate storage so you can put files there to restore and flash?
2) When creating a Nandroid backup, I usually select everything to be safe. What do you really actually need?
3) When restoring a Nandroid backup, what do you need to get back to the point when you took the backup? System, and Data? Or System Image? Or all 3? etc...
4) I have been trying for the last hour to restore my phone, but after the Nandroid Restore it is stuck in a boot loop, why could this be happening? I have all required restoration files from my Nandroid backup.
