Hi guys, my friend and i are getting problems with the finger print scanner and double tap to wake, we are both on stock stable build, some time the phone llooks like he's in sooo deep sleep so it doesn't unlock or even the screen turn on, but once you press the power button the finger print or what ever works again, and after 15-30mn it happens again,
Are we the only ones?

when i installed my rom it was a clean install, and him it was an OTA incrementation, and we started having the same bug just after updating, it's been a week now, but i started talking about it when he asked me yesterday if i had that kind of bug, so i guess we are not alone facing this issue.

Having the same problem since 5.1.1 with double tap to wake. Seems worse on pie stable release but definately doesn't happen every 15 minutes, maybe once a day. Don't listen to the other people saying you need to use the unbrick tool because if you clean flashed like I did it won't solve the issue. This is on OnePlus for releasing an unstable rushed android pie

Sometimes when i read some response i feel like i'm on an applestore lol, did you restart it to see if it's fixed?, did you clear cache,? ... Even if i know what i'm doing with my phone when i flash or what ever i do, reading answers as use the unbrick tool to "clean" flash the rom is not the way to fix a bug that is happening on 2 different phone that have the same rom installed with different ways, i was just checking if other users are facing it or no, that's all i was asking, sorry if i may "offend" anyone , but you must also understand that not everybody knows how to flash or to root or even to clear cache, we are supposed to get fully working phones out of the box, not fully working after using unbrick tools.
EDIT: if i also say that there is latency on bluetooth earphones while playing games, or the camera is really **** compared on what it should be they will also tell me clear cache or reinstall the rom loooooooooool

I flashed the full rom then I factory reset in settings. This isn't an issue because you took an ota it's an issue with one plus ROM. If using an unbrick tool was the only way to fix issues there will be ALOT of angry users because I can guarantee that thousands of people have never even heard of XDA let alone know there's these sorts of tools available.
Simply put the pie release was rushed and is not very stable. I have had the double tap to wake issue from the start and have seen some threads on it. Its not really an issue for me tho because it doesn't happen very often. Pretty sure it's not a hardware issue.

Do these ROM's fix the horrible aux cable issue, my wife is going to throw her phone out the window. Luckily I have Bluetooth in my car
Sent from my LG-D850 using XDA Free mobile app
Has anyone tried using the QuickCircle case with this? Since it isn't stock and doesn't have the necessary software coded in, I'm assuming it won't work.
things not working
Bluetooth (connects but says no phone)
Torch flashlight
Those are the one things i was able to test before getting a blue screen. I immediately freaked out and removed battery. Happened again five minutes later. I saw someone ask to do a logcat, i would have if i had known how to and weren't so scared that my phone was toast lol. Thank you for everyone that has worked and working on this what is to hopefully be an AMAZING rom.
Also heard that screen rotation not working.
Honestly though what can we expect for the very first build?
---------- Post added at 05:57 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:46 AM ----------
I also got the kernel panic, blue screen. Everything was going nicely until that happened. Will help in anyway possible.

At first i thought it was stable with the first twenty minutes lol. Only things that weren't working was Bluetooth and torch then the kernel panic or blue screen came and i peed a little lol jk.
I didn't think it was going to work that well. Thought that there would be a ton of fc errors and such. This is my first time flashing a rom in its baby stage and getting to watch it grow will be awesome. So thanks again to @AndroidUser00110001 @timmytim.

Another thing that seems wonky for me is with apex and the stock launcher. It's hard to push and hold on an icon it usually just barely move the screen. Is that making sense. Other than that this is stable. Never heard of the first build being this stable. So congrats.

I'v ebeen using it all day. I just now resotred my stock backup so that I can grab my text messages and apps. Once that's all done Im switching back and it will be my daily driver.
So far the only thing that I know of that is wrong is the baseband reporting as Unknown in System > About.
I did have an issue after flashing with the PA G-Apps, the ones that i linked to but after wiping data and cache on the Play Store App and rebooting it went away. I haven't reported it yet becuase I wasn't sure if it was me, the ROM or the G-Apps.

You have asked this before.
Clean flash your phone:
Gapps for 15.0 are in post2 of 15.0 Q&A.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/2015-moto-g/help/unofficial-lineageos-15-0-qa-thread-t3669431
At TWRP WIPE, Do not choose "factory reset: If you do not wipe system you are wasting your time - there is a lot of old gapps and other junk from previous roms in there.
Choose Advanced and check Dalvik/ART, System, Data, Cache. ONLY!!!! Do not check Internal storage or SDcard unless you really know what you are doing - TWRP backups are out there!
Choose "Set up as New" during the install or you bring in whatever junk is on your google drive. And you will have no idea where your problems are coming from!

@Alberto97
9-12 ROM, 10-02 nano gapps
No root.
Waving hands or phone does nothing.
Settings/System/Gestures/"Wave to silence" - if set to ON:
Incoming call results in toast
Advanced settings has stopped
x close app
<> Mute until device restarts
Click to collapse
tapping "close app" and toast just re-appears. Impossible to answer or decline call.
tapping "Mute until device restarts" causes toast to not pop on future incoming calls. - reboot and first incoming call will NOT be answered.
Solution for now. Do not set "Wave to silence" to ON.

@puma1363 I repeat - I believe your crash is the result of not wiping correctly or not choosing "set up as new" during install.
No one else that I know of has that crash. Please follow the instructions given to you very carefully. Thank you.
Android is starting? Forever?
Hi, huge thanks to Alberto97 for making this custom Android 8.0 ROM for osprey, as it has been on my wishlist to upgrade my osprey to Oreo.
06/10/17
I flashed the ROM + super gApps (with gapps-config file) and when it boots up, the home screen just continuously reads
Android is starting

, so I don't really know what to do...
07/10/17
Fixed: I just edited the gapps-config file so that it included Pixel Launcher, then reflashed the super gApps and it works fine now
Idk...

rom oreo linage 15..good..bat is bug wave to silence..Liang 15 is a good guy. But it needs more work. The fault of the wave to silence.. .. There was no personalization of the status bar not saport gapps mini stock and up.. Double tab to lock. It's better to use the lingap 14.1 for a very stable ending.linage 14.1 is update weekes beter and beter..It's best to wait a bit more to get the full 15 Ram updates and get new updates.

Maybe clean flashing wasn't necessary. I faced this issue when I installed Lineage OS 15 and it was solved by Going to Settings > System > Gestures and disabling call-related actions.
Whenever Im in Some App and a Call comes.
Then I grt a popup 'Advanced Settings has stopped working'.
Then I get another popup saying 'Factory Reset'
Then boots in TWRP Recovery
Xiaomi has begun building nightlies for Android P, so I've added them below.

All builds are from Xiaomi's servers. Just providing links. I can't answer any questions about them, because I haven't been able to try them. But the below link might help people understand what they are:

Although we do this for free/fun, any donations provided will encourage us to keep up the Xiaomi research.
some one try to flash it?
I tried Android O ; bootloops
Flash ok, first setup screen. Choose language(Turkish ok), choose region(only china), writing "just a sec" and bootloops...
8.4.17
8.4.27
Please be careful with these builds. There was some trouble with redmi note 5 pro, damaged the screen.

Try factory reset after flashing. It could have to do with user data.

I saw the official global Android O on en.miui.com,
Why would you try the Android O? Wish I had a backup phone, would like to try the P
P/S: Downloading the P version 8.4.29, let give it a try.
So did anyone tried it? Do I need a unlocked bootloader to try it?
Is this stock Android P or with MIUI

Actually, its with Redmi 5 Plue/Redmi Note 5. Regardless of any phone, it's better to be at caution with leaked early builds.

What method did you use to flash?
I think better to flash with fastboot than with twrp.
You'll need to use tools to get the system image from the files included to flash in fastboot. I think sdat2img should do it.

In RN5 case, its permanent screen burn-in. It's so bad that even if you used the build for less than an hour, you can say goodbye to your IPS panel. Some used warranty to replace the panel for free.

It's not false warnings, everything is a disaster with that build. Just take a look at rn5 forums and in telegram groups. Anyway, like you said its better to be safe than sorry.
There's absolutely no way of fixing your semi brick. There's no unbrick tool available, and Nubia won't fix it because you unlocked the bootloader. So I warn EVERYONE,to stay away from rm3s if you plan on root. I currently have a non booting rm3s, that is 3 days old. It's a very expensive paperweight.
I am root successful 100%
Omg he doesn't stop.
2 RM3's and they are rooted. No problems at all. Then I seen this and no way of fixing it! Oh man....oh wait there is.

LMFAO!!! Your so full of sht! You blocked out the file names. You are using the rawprogram file and patch file from the rm3. You dont have the proper files for the rm3s. Stop trolling. Those files are ONLY available from the raw rom, which NO ONE has right now. Well, Jerry i am sure does.

Hi friend! I also had the same oak with my rm3s but further investigating I could revive it, download this file from this link that I left here below, only the problem is that it is only for the rm3 version but it still served me now I'm trying to see how pass it to the rom of the rm3s
You need to put your rm3s in boot to edload mode and once you start the program you will get an error but ignore it and in a few minutes your rm3s will restart to configure the rom
IMPORTANT THIS SOFWARE WILL CHANGE YOUR RM3S SYSTEM BY RM3 !!
Cheers!
