hi people, ive been playing with oos 9 pie (ob1, ob2 and stable), and many apps are missing in full screen option, many apps that i could select in 8.1 now disappeared. and some games like clash royale or boom beach too.
did you find a solution?
edit: while using hydrogenOS ob1 everything was just fine.

Go in setting afterwards display there you will see app display in full mode
Go into the setting, display after that you will see the app display in full mode
Youtube is opening in fullscreen only for me and it is not showing in the display setting anyone else experiencing this issue?

Yes it's a problem. Came here specifically because YouTube and clash fullscreen option is now missing. Tried reinstalling clash Royale but that was a mistake.
Before 9.0 update, those apps worked perfectly with fullscreen

I rolled back to Oreo because of fullscreen issue with YouTube and Clash Royale.
i am having the same problem in asphalt 8 and 9. after Android 9.0 update asphalt 8 and 9 are not showing in the full screen option under display menu of oneplus6.
Please write about this bug on the OnePlus Community site and this may speed up the error fixing by devs.
Fix for clash royale
I discovered a fix for this at least for Clash Royale (might work for other apps also). I am currently on Oxeygen OS version 9.0.3 and I had the same issue here is how you solve it.
1. Uninstall Clash Royale
2. go to apk mirror and download Clash Royale 2.1.7
3. Install the downloaded APK
4. Go into setting and you should now see it as an option
5. Lastly update clash via the google playstore and thats it! It should work now!!

This workaround was working on OOS 9 a few months ago, but I had to wipe my phone today and start over and I can't get it to go to fullscreen anymore. I think something changed in OOS in the last update or Clash Royale has some hard coded values for aspect ratio or immersive that's preventing it from going fullscreen.

I know if I try to play Dead Trigger or Whale Trails, I get weird graphics issues. When I play Dead Trigger the graphics stutter when I move the camera, and Whale Trails has distorted lines all across the screen. But games like Minecraft and Granny Smith run flawlessly with no issues.
Any possible ways to fix this?
EDIT: I'm also using AOSP Build 5, but it also happened on CM10
It could be the CM branches. I've been playing this on stock and CleanRom just fine.

My Samsung s7 model is SM-G930FD
I have disabled both GameService and GamePadService using Package Disabler Pro but my Samsung still lag during gameplay.
Does anyone know a fix to this?
PS: Does silent Uninstall both help?

Also it can be just lag of game on ur device. (version of game for ur device)
beside that can u check temp of ur phone?
does it lag when u r on home-screen and another apps?
(disabling that kindda apps won't help significantly)
write more about ur phone and apps/game that have lag.

I normally play but not limited to hearthstone and clash Royale
There are constant lags when I play hearthstone but I only experience lag when I open chest when I play clash Royale
After playing quick matches my phone temperature went from 35°C to 38-40°C
most games are not optimized for SD820.

the temp is fine
and about games try another heavy games from EA sport Or gameloft
If no lag on these FHD games then thr s problem with Games and ur phone is fine

You are wrong in temp. readings. CPU temp. are accurately shown only in apps like AIDA64/CPUZ. The CPU Temp. shown by other most app are completely wrongs. Already tested. After a game it should definitely go up to 60C at least, in any device.

I am having issues playing the simpsons tapped out on my tablet. Whenever I play the game, it will end up crashing the app after about 60 seconds. When I bought this tablet, I thought it would hold up really well for games. But it seems strange that it won't run on well that isn't even graphics intensive.
I've seen this behavior both stock and running the latest LineageOS ROM.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this to run better?

I did a clean flash (full wipe) and installed the app from the play store.
I have a similar issue trying to play Paradise Bay. It runs like crap a lot of the time, freezing up to the point of being unplayable. Sometimes it will run ok, but not for too long before it starts glitching.
Hi.. I am using a Honor 8 with EMUI 5 & Android N. I am facing issues with downloading games from the Google play store. Every game that I try to download that has to download additional data does not download. The play store will show the download bar but it will not progress at all. All other apps and games that do not need additional data download works just fine .
I have set default storage to SD card.
Tried downloading asphalt Xtreme, and a few more games and I faced this issue. Play store hangs and I have to restart the phone.

Hi all,
I just want to share an extrange issue. I just got my POCO X3, the only thing that I installed so far is Candy Crush Friends, but I noticed that the performance is terrible.
I tested the game either in 60 and 120Hz, and for both the game is so laggy, and the main screen shows artifacts.

EDIT: I just realized that the problem is the sound, not the video, if I deactivate the sound effects only (not the music), it runs OK.
Any chance you are using Viper4Android?

Very strange, mine is doing the same, but it's only since I installed V4A..
according to a King Forum, this issue happens with all Xiaomi phones. People in there named only xiaomi devices.
Try going to settings>battery and performance > app battery saver Then find the game and choose "no restrictions" Does this fix the issue?
