I use ES File Manager, which will use SU and has a nice text editor for playing with build.prop and other goodies.

The OP file manager is debloated in the profile file for xXx NoLimits. You can toggle that off in the profile and reinstall NoLimits if you want it back as an alternative to downloading it. But, as others have noted, there are plenty of other options that are more fully featured. MiXplorer, which has a thread here on XDA, is a nice one that I use a lot. Solid Explorer and FX are very useful, too.

Yeah I'm not sure... I'm Definitely Curious tho!
Hello,
would it be reasonable to change CM file manager to
Mixplorer http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1523691
CM file manager has very limited functionality compare to the Mixplorer in terms of network functions, apk handling and such.

Yes a good ideea. But it is fully compatible ?
Example: when trying delete sys app some File Explorers give a message failed but actually succeeds and the current CM File Manager has no problems what so ever.
I has not try to remove sys apps with Mixplorer.
Initially I was so irritated, that CM file manager does not allow to install apk, when I flash my phone on a run.
Usually I replace/remove/add a lot of system apk in the downloaded ROM prior to flashing.
Does anyone have OnePlus file manager that is working with Paranoid Android in Oneplus 3?
If anyone has it please share the apk file.
Here you have it. Just Install it!
It is from Open Beta 20
I keep getting this error, despite having uninstalled the "Files" apk through Titanium Backup.
Is there a very specific reason as to why you want it? If not, try MiXplorer. It's feature-rich, simple, clean, fast and ad-free. You can get it here at XDA.

I am also getting the same error. Any workaround to make it work?
Uninstall the current File Manager then Install this.
You can't install File Manager in custom ROMs, because it requires the OOS 4.0+ theme engine to make it light/default/dark etc.

You need to clean out the default file manager apk from system folder. Delete all its related apks too.
You can do this in twrp or a file manager with root permitted.. Note, some ROMs can install it and some won't...depends on the code resources...
Always backup files before deleting....

You'll need a rooted device regardless of the app you use obviously. Bunch of them out there but I'd recommend Root Explorer. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.rootexplorer Been using it for many years and is still being supported.
