Before stating my problem I have already serched in other xda Posts but all that I was able to do it to identity my problem and know that my Phone is one of a kind
SO
after trying to install a rom on my device and after failing every time getting error 7 with twrp I tried deleting the device id check in the update-script but after doing that the rom still would not install.
After deleting everything on my phone (yes I deleted the system too) I tried installing the stock firmware from the official website but still no luck and in the update-script in th stock rom was too complicated
SO
i tried installing my rom by sideload but whenever I enter that my device would disapper
I have read different posts watched different videos tried different methods but nothing. The phone is old and if this will not work I will probably throw it from the windows but at this point, since I have been trying for almost 2 weeks, is basically a battle between me and my phone wich it seems I can't win
Thanks!!

Hi,
I've been using Linux for over ten years but am a newb with tablets and flashing etc. Thought I'd be able to stick Linux on my P3110 but soon realized I needed to take baby steps first. So I tried Heimdall to root my device according to the instructions on androidauthority.com galaxy-tab-2-7-0-p3110-root-clockworkmod-recovery-96473
This did not work so despite many attempts so I eventually filed a bug report for Heimdall which was addressed in the wip/1.4RC3 branch... which I may have got a bit too eager to use before it was quite ready. I rebuilt despite the warning the build files weren't then updated. I tried it anyway and it didn't seem to work, but third time or so lucky it appeared to work. Unfortunately the P3110 reset but stayed stuck on the Samsung logo.
I've now got a Vista install inside VirtualBox and have sucessfully used Odin to flash CWM Recovery onto it, and then used CWM recovery to install some other root package ( tips4tab.com how-to-root-and-install-clockworkmod-recovery-on-samsung-galaxy-tab-2-7-0-wi-fi-gt-p3110 ) but still have the same result: the P3110 stays stuck on the logo.
So all the while I've been researching how to do this I've seen hints the solution is to install the stock rom onto the device, but many solutions seem to involve Kies which from my experiments thus far won't recognize a non-working device such as mine.
Anyway, I eventually found sammobile.com and am currently downloading P3110XXCLK7_P3110OXACLK7_BTU.zip which is the latest firmware for my P3110 (UK) which from what I believe needs to be copied to an SD card and the SD inserted into the P3110.
My question is does this sound like the right thing to do to get my device working again?
Yes extract the 1.1gb P3110XXCLK7_P3110OXACLK7_HOME.tar.md5 from the Zip and use Odin to install it to the P3110. It takes some time and afterward you'll see a yellow android dancing the dance of life with a blue data stream. After rebooting the device will then take you through the initial setup stage again
good
Yea just what dat guy is sayin :good:
Hi there, I'm not feeling very cluey right now.
I finally got around to trying a custom ROM, I went with the latest one @daniel_hk had uploaded which was Slim-p6810-4.4.4.build.7.2.1-UNOFFICIAL-20140816-1116.
I used the cwm-6.0.2.3-p6810.tar recovery.
I had been using the official ICS ROM from a long time ago, it mostly worked fine for me but an app I've started using recently says it really wants a newer version of android.
Before flashing it I took a backup.
Having used the SlimKat for a bit I found a few things I wanted to work didn't and the colour inversion thing was getting to me so I tried CARBON-KK-UNOFFICIAL-20140912-1616-p6810 to see if it would work well enough for me. It has the same Bluetooth problem but I haven't had the screen inversion problem.
Before trying the second custom ROM I also took a backup. I also took a backup after setting up the Carbon ROM so I wouldn't have to do it twice!
Somewhere around here I noticed that my Winblows 7 PC wasn't recognising the tablet anymore, it also was charging slower than it used to.
Wanting to go back to the ICS ROM I was using originally I booted into recovery and went to restore it and here's the problem.
It isn't there to restore.
The other two backups I made are there though.
I was going back to ICS to see if Winblows would detect it again, although I'm starting to suspect that the USB board in the tablet might be faulty now. Windows says that the device has malfunctioned so it doesn't recognise it, I've tried numerous different versions of the USB driver. I remember Winblows update saying it had a newer version of the Samsung Android drivers and let it update them, this may have been a mistake.
So how do I restore my ICS backup, I think I recall there being a file system change when they added the multiple accounts on a device patch, 4.3 I think, so is that part of my problem?
I've also tried using twrp-2.8.0.0 and discovered that it can't use the CWM backups and I then flashed cwm-6.0.4.5 to see if the newest version would help me. Still no dice. As my tablet won't talk to my PC I flashed that with Mobile Odin Pro, I'd avoided buying that as I will probably be getting a Sony Z3 Compact Tablet and Odin seems to be a Samsung only thing.
Help needed with: Stock rom "FORCE CLOSE" also unable to install any other rom
Heya all, I'm new to the forums.
I've got an issue (or several) with my GALAXY S I9000. It was semi-bricked and I was able to (SORT OF) resurrect it.
The semi-brick consisted of constantly deploying Samsung logo. So I downloaded odin and found (many) stock roms with different androids: froyo 2.2, gngerbread 2.3, etc.
Any android I installed, right when there's the welcome steps such as configure accounts, wi-fi, etc. I started to get stormed with "FORCE CLOSE" windows to every application going (mostly GAPPS, but it's relative assuming most of the apps in these devices are google apps). This delayed the cellphone's speed terribly, oftenly rebooting and eventually allowing me to reach the home desktop, obviously throwing forcecloses every 4-5 secs.
Towards this I installed a different CWM version with ODIN, and I was going to install another rom w/ different gapps. Then it said "E:/ NO SD CARD" blabla. So i gave the sdcard a format and now it doesnt say "No SD CARD" but every rom i try to install says "ERROR (STATE 0)"
Frustrated, I tried stock roms again, (2.3 and 2.2) and I downloaded specificly the 2.2 and 2.3 gapps, installed them with CWM lending a prayer and nope, it didnt work.
I obviously ran out of ideas by now, so I came here where everyone knows more than I do (which is no merit) I beg your help!
Maybe I flashed it with a wrong PIT, or the CSC is wrong, or the ROMS arent for this device i9000, i cant know for sure, even though i read every article i downloaded stuff from (just in case) and it looked like the right one. Anyway, don't guess I did anything right, because I must've missed something. (i am paranoic indeed)
Thank you very much!
P.S. My brother has the same i9000 and I installed the roms I downloaded for mine on his device and these workedp erfectly. (But he had CWM already installed so it must've been a problem with odin flash)
Hi there,
Best answers you will receive in the dedicated forum for this device, see bellow, but first you need to register an account on XDA for full access. Also, please read carefully this tutorials wich are very helpful to other members:

Hello!
I have the following problem and after countless searches over many forums I ended up finding no answer:
About 4-5 months ago my P5100 started to restart itself after 1 or 2 minutes of functioning properly (restarts even faster if i try to connect over Wi-Fi or install an app). I thought that if I leave it for a while everything will be ok, it wasn't the case so I started trying to fix it. Before I go on I mention that my P5100 was rooted , running CWM version 5.5 and CM10(10.1.3), i haven't messed with the rom, recovery, firmware etc. for more that one year and a half so it started all of a sudden. I tried everything starting from simply updating the CM version to ADB commands and finally flashing back to the stock firmware with Odin. The wipe data/factory reset didn't work neither in recovery nor commands, I even tried to delete everything via Internal Storage in my pc through USB. Every time it reverts itself to the point it was left before although everything seemed to work just fine no errors or so. It doesen't remember after reboot any setting I made or any app that i installed(if I manage to install one) it is like i didn't do anything at all to it. :crying:
Many thanks for taking your time to read my thread and maybe help me:laugh:

Hello,
since today I flashed definitly more than 100 times a custom rom to several Smartphones. So I know the procedure und what to note.
But now the Redmi Note 6 Pro makes me crazy since two days.
Waited 15 days to unlock bootloader, then flashed the first TWRP, Error 7, tried another TWRP for the phone from here - passwort error encryption etc. etc. I think I have seen all the possible error-messages.
I tried everything incl. back to stock rom via Xiaomi Mi flash several time an than the same from the beginning, always errors, some new like "zip-file corrupt" "can't map file". Thought about a hardware error already.
Has anybody been in the same situation? What should I try? Is there a workaround where I can check the reason for these problems?
Regards
Robert

Same problem here ? I can't solve ? plz help
Never fear, Google is here!
I had this exact same problem, but this post fixed it:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522762
I still haven't figured out what caused it in the first place though...
I don't think this programming-issue is the only reason for error 7. I have been trying 5 different roms, always error 7. Is it possible that there comes a wrong model-information from the phone?
Another problem is the passwort for decrypting in TWRP. In some threads is said, this password is the screen protecting password. I tried this - nothing - I changed it - nothing, allways wrong password.
This phone makes me crazy.... All the things working allways and xtimes without any problems - here not.
Same Problem
Had the same problem turned out that you need to flash pie firmware first befor flashing any pie-roms.
See the post here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79136824&postcount=2
This was the solution
