Just got a system update on my SM-G935V this morning. Build number updated to PB4. Haven't really noted any obvious changes. Is there a set of updates anywhere that anyone can link to?

Why do you want it blocked? Just wondering why you don't want WiFi and other fixes.

Some people like myself like to wait and see what problems these updates may create. I've read and experienced things not working as good as they did before a update was pushed. Sometimes they also block ways to root a device witch many people here would love to have.

No it only has some fixes for the facelock....
It is quite large for a fix it is around 695mb

Yep there isn't much to it mostly face unlock fixes a little bit of a disappointment really considering moving this phone on will see in a few weeks......

I downloaded and installed this OTA Update on my ulefone power 3, GQ3056MF1_HCS986a_Ulefone_V40. The phone was working perfectly well before the update, but after restarting after installing the update, the display double prints everything. The display is completely undreadable, with lines accross it and printing in double. Is there anything I can do to remove this update or roll it back? Thanks a lot
First read the txt that comes with it.:good:
It says if you have problems after this update > PLEASE make a works-reset.
And then restart your phone.
Here its working fine.

Ok just realised the 9.0.2 isnt working so well for me. Although the gesture control animation is need, but now it is harder to bring up the recent menu from the app drawer window

I am really tempted, sure. But I have read through the android.com notes, and there's zero incentives to update right now.

If Google wasn't the bug fest that is has become, I might have reacted differently.
Update is pushed to Indian users.
You all don't need to do complicated stuff like VPN or wait. Just go in General Section and manually download the full update and follow the instructions how to flash it. The reason you wait is likeany other company that pushes update in waves so if a bug is found they can stop the update to fix the bug and less users will be affected.

Yup... I didn't use vpn and was waiting for this to get popped up by itself and tadaa it happ today.
So I had a "system update" today, but didn't notice any version differences.
Anybody else get that and catch what it was?

Yeah waiting here as well for the update for the LTE model
Actually I have found something new in this update. When you short press the second button twice, Google Pay will pop up with the card ready to be used. First press is still doing what is set in the preferences. However, i couldn't find it in settings anywhere to assign different action to doublepress of the secondary button.

Hmm, as much as possible I don't want to do some flashing. I'm just wondering why I still haven't received the Sec. patch for Sept. yet. There's two of us I know with the same software version that still haven't got the Sept. patch yet.

Yes. In most cases LG will release OTA to L/S/K at almost the same time. But sometimes may not and some OTA will be skipped. So the next officially released OTA for SKT may be 11o or 11q or even 20.

I don't know if 11q OTA is released to SKT variant but the KDZ is available now.

We also got the v11r update. Nice. Also on Google website it says that the 10 will be available this year. It would be nice in November.

Hoping with fingers crossed Sir, I have a problem with my weather animation on lock screen. It's not working. It doesn't show any animation even if it's currently raining. I tried doing a factory reset but no luck, It's still not working. I tried turning on my location for an hour to observe but still, no animation. I have no problem with it on my 1st V50 unit with V500N11o version. My brand new unit came with V500N11m and now updated to 11q but still, it doesn't seem to work fine. I don't know how to flash roms and I'm too even learn and try it coz I might mess it up. Is there any other way or setting or anything that you now that causes it not to work fine? Thank you sir!

First be sure to download weather app from software updates app. Then enable it in customize lock screen.
You should try to factory flash with LG Bridge, recovery error mode. Did you disabled some apps?

Yes sir I downloaded the weather app and weather theme. It's working on my 1st LG with V500N11o version. Right now in my bnew one, i can't make it work. I only disabled LG 1 app, T world, T membership. I'll follow your advice about doing factory flash. Thank you sir!

Pay attention that lg bridge does not download the firmware from the first try. Try 3-4 times by selecting recovery error, not check for updates.
