Hmm, as much as possible I don't want to do some flashing. I'm just wondering why I still haven't received the Sec. patch for Sept. yet. There's two of us I know with the same software version that still haven't got the Sept. patch yet.

11o is not released to SKT. You can check on

Yes. In most cases LG will release OTA to L/S/K at almost the same time. But sometimes may not and some OTA will be skipped. So the next officially released OTA for SKT may be 11o or 11q or even 20.

I don't know if 11q OTA is released to SKT variant but the KDZ is available now.

prolly.. Hehe. Based on infos speculating round the net, they'll release A10 by november, other says it should be released on K-variants before the year ends so if not next month, maybe december.

We also got the v11r update. Nice. Also on Google website it says that the 10 will be available this year. It would be nice in November.

Hoping with fingers crossed Sir, I have a problem with my weather animation on lock screen. It's not working. It doesn't show any animation even if it's currently raining. I tried doing a factory reset but no luck, It's still not working. I tried turning on my location for an hour to observe but still, no animation. I have no problem with it on my 1st V50 unit with V500N11o version. My brand new unit came with V500N11m and now updated to 11q but still, it doesn't seem to work fine. I don't know how to flash roms and I'm too even learn and try it coz I might mess it up. Is there any other way or setting or anything that you now that causes it not to work fine? Thank you sir!

First be sure to download weather app from software updates app. Then enable it in customize lock screen.
You should try to factory flash with LG Bridge, recovery error mode. Did you disabled some apps?

Yes sir I downloaded the weather app and weather theme. It's working on my 1st LG with V500N11o version. Right now in my bnew one, i can't make it work. I only disabled LG 1 app, T world, T membership. I'll follow your advice about doing factory flash. Thank you sir!

Pay attention that lg bridge does not download the firmware from the first try. Try 3-4 times by selecting recovery error, not check for updates.

Actually I have found something new in this update. When you short press the second button twice, Google Pay will pop up with the card ready to be used. First press is still doing what is set in the preferences. However, i couldn't find it in settings anywhere to assign different action to doublepress of the secondary button.
Today I got new OTA for my Honor View 20 version 9.0.1.165 model PCT-AL10 with April security patch . Update is of 391MB and update log is attached

Not days months. L29 just recently got .137 update via ota. However manual update was out way before it
Another update with AR measure has rolled out and version is .173

Yeah, it's risky. In the past when I use the "download latest and recovery", it hasn't factory reset my phone, but it feels like it's meant to.

I can immediately tell it doesn't include the pie gesture navigation. Further research shows that's the gesture navigation nis only available on the Android One Motorola products.

Before this I was either on the February patch or the March patch. I don't really remember. But I think this update is for the MFN.. unsure. But likely is since they invited me to take the beginning survey and stuff but I haven't received anything else from Motorola yet about the program..

I signed up for MFN, too. I just filled out a form and put my IMEI number and supposedly I was in. Haven't heard from them about anything.

Enable one button nav, it has Motorola's Pie optimized navigation system wich works better than the original Pie one.

no it doesnt. the moto one touch nav in the moto app on pie is the same as it always has been just one button to slide left, right and tap and hold and all that. it is NOT the new Pie gesture.
in fact its worse than just using the traditional on screen nav buttons cause sliding to the right to open multitasking doesnt open multitasking, it just switches to the previous app, hence why i have left it on for this long.
however, i will say that it was awesome on android oreo

well on the pie update it is the april 1, 2019 security patch i cant remember if before i was on februrary or march.. i think it was february.
Mine is February, but I update it manually through fastboot

Hey Thanks for this info. I didn't know such a thing existed but it is updating now. It is a 2.2g file so it will have to be downloaded to the PC first. I was a little nervous about giving all those developer rights to the app but I figure since it is Lenovo it should be OK. It doesn't look like it will update to Pie, however. It appears as stated above by another user that this is just the latest patches. I hope that this does not impede my ability to get OTA updates as I am not into rooting phones. Maybe one day if I have time I'll experiment with custom work but for now I just want the factory Pie that was promised with AI battery saver features.

I'm new to MOTO (usually Google devices until Pixel) so I don't know if the MotoAgent reply is something dependable or just BS. I'm not in a hurry about Pie. It was enough of a mess using Lenovo Smart Assistant to flash the Feb update about a week ago. I will miss the readily available Google factory images for fastboot flashes.
