I'm not responsible for bricked devices or any other problems!
If you want to remove the backdoor virus this is my proposal:
Install Sophos antivirus from Google Play,
Scan phone system, ther will be one red alert at WIFI Updater system aplication.
Root your phone using KingoRoot.
Install some aplicaton for root exploring, example Root App Deleter.
Deinstall WIFI Updater and/or com.yulong.android.ota or other infected aplicaton.
Restart phone, and enjoy!

So, I was trying to download an old xposed module. Upon downloading it, the apk was named as the file I wanted. Once installed, it installed as a download manager with a different name.
I never ran the app and uninstalled it immediately. Could my device have been infected with malware without launching the app?
My backup is over a month old and I would like to avoid a restore

Adware and infected htc desire 526 g plus
Guys I am in a pickle!
I want to wipe my HTC desire 526 plus clean of malware that is causing it to download unwanted apps without consent. The malware seems capable of modifying the inherent permissions and bypassing all security features.
I am unable to gain root access by kingoroot alone. adware is not letting me update the Superuser app and being nasty on purpose.
It can gain permission to automatically start wifi, gain pemission to install 'Unknown Apps' and sends location and data with impunity. The ads are everywhere.
I have tried stock backup but it still reinstalls all the malware and the same cycle begins again. What I want is a freash stock rom/nand backup for this menace. Surprisingly I still cant find one link on the world wide web. Please Help me find it.

I have rooted my device and deleted some adware virus but i can't remove it fully. some apps like BCCcutedrivers, coolactivesticks, if i delete these apps its instantly installing again and on every reboot apps like 360 security, mobiquick, wifi key master keep installing even when mobile data is off .. How do i find the source of these apps ? And remove it permanently
My first idea is maybe you can remove the apps manualy with a root explorer from "system/app/ " or "data/apps/"
Hi there,
Recently I installed 9Apps App on my phone. After that it automatically started downloading many apps and they all were installed as system apps. As soon as I came to know I turned off my WiFi/Data and unistalled 9Apps.
I have root access. So I tried to uninstall those malwares using "System App Remover" "SuperSU" "Titanium Backup". These all apps say that "uninstall failed". So I tried to delete those apks from "/system/apk" by mounting system R/W using "ES File Explorer" and "Terminal". None of them works. Even I tried uninstall by ''Recovery Exploit" but it also doesn't work.
When I switch on my DATA/WiFi these apps again start downloading new malwares and 'INSTALLING THEM AS SYSTEM APPS' which I'm unable to remove. I've also performed a "CLEAN FACTORY RESET" but it also doesn't work.
Also I scanned with free antivirus it says they're malwares.
The following are those malwares
--com.google.updater
--Amazon Shopping App
--Voot
--FreeCharge
--com.google.android.searchbox
--some porn apps
I can't uninstall any.
Please give me suggestion.
Or if reinstalling my ROM is the only option.
Thanks.

Hi manaspustake, Find out if the apps are installed as administrator then this is the problem that you are not able to uninstall them. Good luck
Can you modify the malwares to make corrupted using APK Editor Pro
1. Go to Manifest
2. Find the device administrator component is declared as a receiver component, remove it
3. Rebuild it
How the hell are Lenovo allowed to include this intrusive adware on a new phone, its driving me utterly mental.
Every time I use the phone it opens a new ad and sometimes again when I am using it and I cant find out how to uninstall it.
Anyone help me out ?
Thanks
