I using UB pro for all my note 4,5,7,8, and now 9, best case for me
Nope.
I swear by Supcase cases. I prefer the slimmer Unicorn Style UB, but I ordered the UB Neo for a coworker. It's a solid case, but too much protection for me.
Also, look at iBlason cases. Same company, and I like the looks of the iBlason Magma over the ones you listed. Personal preference, of course.
Is their screen protector removable? If removed is there enough room to use the case with a whitestone protector?
Used them for my s8 plus, note 8 and s9 plus. LOVE them.
It's the case I have on my note 9
getting great reviews...but no one mention or shows spen in use with this case.....anyone got experience they can relate
I recently got that Supcase for my Note 9 and it seems pretty solid. It's at least as sturdy as the Otterbox Defender, and the kickstand actually works. The screen protector works fine with the S-Pen, but has a bit more friction than the normal screen. I don't think the screen protector is removable without cutting it out.
Hope that helps @edwardob

two were mentioned…???
I purchased one of the UB Style cases when the Note was released, and while I'm a huge fan of Supcase, this particular UB Style needs work. It's damn near impossible to pull the stylus out unless you have longer nails, so I ditched it and went with the Caseology Parallax. If they just made the stylus' hole larger, it would be a great case.
This is the one I'm talking about:

True, I have exact same case and the inbuilt screen protector is horrible
I've had both UB Pro and Style. Very good cases for the price. I'm currently using the white/grey UB Pro for my note9. I also remove the built in screen protector and it works with my whitestone dome.
Super Duty
Like kenpaci stated in the 2nd post, I have been using the UB Pro on my Note 4, 5, 7, Galaxy S7 Active, Note 8 and now my Note 9. They are extremely tough and have protected all of my phones with multiple drops over the years. I too, have always removed the built-in screen protector until the Note 9. I decided to give it a try this time and so far, it seems to be working out O.K. for me. I've only had the phone since the 1st of November however so we'll see!

Awesome. I like that amazon has these for preorder. I don't think Spigen has even posted these on their website yet.
I've come to really like Spigen products, but Supcase is making waves lately too.
they are up now. kind of hard to decide though. I bought the thicker one for my note 3 and dont know if i want to go with the hybrid this time or....
Has anyone tried the hybrid? protect the device just as well? Ive dropped my note 3 in parking lots, smacked it against gym equipment, stepped on it at the gym lol, dropped on tile lol. still holding up with minimal ware and tear. Only visible issues are the hairline cracks everyone else is seeing.
I ordered this one too...I still have it for my note 3 and they are great. Protect the phone very well.

the hairline cracks go down the chrome plastic surrounding of the phone. Where the note 4 has metal, that was cracked. Nothing crazy but it was noticeable. I actually purchased the metal neo hybrid and the glass protector. First time trying one of these.

holy hi res
i ordered one of the Verus. I'm hoping that the outside piece truly is Aluminum metal and not plastic made to resemble metal as in the Spegin Neo. DOnt get me wrong , I love the Spigen but I often found myself breaking the bumper ring when I was changing batteries. I always get extra batteries of whatever phone i have. Whether it was the GS3 (my dad), GS4 (my sister), GS5 (my gf), Note 3 (me).........now when I get the Note 4.
Wondering when Note 4 accessories, such as extra battery or spare battery kit (extra battery and spare battery charger) since the new battery is 3220 MaH.
Has anyone found something minimal like the Incipio Feather, the Spigen Exact-Fit Slim Case or the Case-Mate Barely There?

98% of those are TPU/silicone cases. I think the only hard shell case is a clear one that has the laser auto focus covered (not sure how that affects performance). Spigen only has TPU cases for it so far.

Because neither it nor any of the others are as minimal as I'm looking for. What I want is just a shell that protects the surface and has a raised lip to keep the screen from touching a surface. Not looking for something to protect more than minimally from a drop. The ones I listed are are like that.
Wish Ringke would make the Slim case for the 6P. Have it on my Nexus 5 since I bought it.
Hoping that Spigen releases their Thin Fit case or Ringke their Slim Fit. Both in Soft Feel/Matte black.
I prefer the Ringke as it covers all four sides while the Spigen leaves the top and bottom open.
Spigen came out with an Ultra Fit case (in clear) which I continue to use with my Nexus 5. Perhaps they'll come out with a 6P version in the next month or so. I may hedge my bets and get the Fusion or Ultra Clear to hold over for now.
I can't vouch for any of these and I'm not sure if they're exactly what you're after, but here are a few options I came across that might be worth looking into (difficult to tell materials on some, ship dates may suck, etc):
*Also not sure whether cutouts are up to date for laser AF or whether old renders are being used.

The first pics they had on Amazon didn't even match the back of the 6P.
Now they have updated pics that match, but like you said, looks like it blocks the laser focus. We'll see once it arrives.
I ordered black was supposed to arrive today, but they updated the shipping. Now it's scheduled to arrive Tue next week.
I went back to Amazon and they don't even list black anymore, just blue, red and gold.
If it blocks the laser focus, back it goes...on Amazon's dime of course.
I have the ringke slim for my lg g3 and I'm hoping they come out with one for the 6P. I really like how thin that case is.

How do you like the case? Does it fit well? Do you use tempered glass? What make you choose Ringke over Spigen?
I am deciding between these two cases as well. Spigen has the black strip on the back fully exposed while Ringke has cut out for the camera and flesh only. I might choose Ringke just because I can use a lanyard. Spigen looks nicer though.

+1 I hope they do soon. It's the only case I've been using since the N4, then N5, iPhone 6s. I noticed that on the latest ones there's an edge above the screen that I don't like, supposedly so you can put your phone face down and not scratch the screen. I never do, so I'd rather not feel that raised edge when I swipe.

Spigen makes so many, I can't keep up with them. I have owned a few of them and returned them. I haven't seen this one.
I have the spigen and it turned yellow on the corners and the back is all scratched.
Just wondering, what is the most durable case for the Note 4?
Aesthetics, thickness, bulkiness, etc are not a concern - just looking at the most durable case. I'm currently using the Otterbox Defender, but I find the front frames tend to crack at times.
I use this one myself after reading around on the net of the views.. Says out of stock at moment but I'm sure there will be more in soon.. Free delivery and also next day signed for http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/272061877903
Personal preference for me is the Thor, by Verus.Slim, offers good protection (I've dropped phone numerous times with no ill effects).I use the Otterbox Commuter on occasion, another slimline case with good protection. At work I use the Zeroshock case that comes with the Zerolemon 10000 MaH battery,I've never worried about the phone in that case.
For me it's verus thor

That's a pretty slick looking case. I've always had an Otter, but I may check one out, especially for $25. I really like how the S-Pen is covered.
To the OP, I've used Otterbox Defenders for the last 5 years. I generally remove the built-in screen protector and install a tempered glass one. They've survived falls from at least five feet onto concrete, tile, pavement, etc many times. Otterboxes certainly aren't cheap, but from my experience you actually get what you pay for. Build quality is excellent, and the one time I did have a belt clip fail, they sent an entire new unit out, no questions asked.
EDIT: I've never had a frame crack - just the clips that held the two halves together, but they seem to have fixed that on the newer models.
I have got UAG Folio Case:
http://nl.urbanarmorgear.com/collections/samsung-galaxy-note-4-cases
Excellent cases
I've been using the Seidio Convert as soon as it was available for the Note 4 and I haven't looked back. It's survived numerous drops onto concrete(from waist height), down stairs and has even taken a fall from the from the back of a horse. The only issue I have is the belt clip tabs are a bit weak and I've had to replace it several times, but those are cheap and I always order 2-3 at a time.
Another nice thing about the Seidio is the belt clip is removable, so you can leave the belt clip on and remove the holster when you sit at a desk or in your car. As part of the removable belt clip, they have a modular system that takes advantage of the setup and they have car mounts, desk mounts, arm bands and Go-Pro like assemblies that allow you to attach your phone pretty much anywhere. http://www.seidioonline.com/QUEST-Mounting-System-s/9139.htm
I've been using UAG cases (Urban Armour Gear) for the longest time. They never disappoint me, extremely durable without being too thick.
Verus for me,excellent quality
It all depends on what you want in a case. If it's all round protect you want from drops then the Otterbox Defender is the want that you want on your device. I'm currently using a Spigen Tough Armor Case on my Note 4 and I love it. It makes my Note 4 feel better in my hand and looks like it would stand up to any accidental drops. I got the Gunmetal version, which has a dark silvery shine to it make my Note 4 look very attractive.

Personally, i would recommend SUPCASE. The case is very durable, adds a little extra grip to the hold. Its very solid and looks very nice from afar. This case is somewhat thin and not as bulky as an Outterbox. Overall the phone gives you the best of both worlds; from protection to style.

I usually prefer the TPU cases and I just got the Google Pixel XL Case from Cimo for my Pixel XL. For the price, I would say its pretty great and wonderful quality.
I need an Ultra Thin Clear TPU between 0.2-0.3mm thick. You guys seen any yet?
Spigen Ultra Hybrid vs Ringke Fusion.
Which one is the better case? Ringke is cheaper so I'm leaning towards them. I've used the Ringke Fusion for my Galaxy S6, and the Spigen Ultra Hybrid for my Nexus 5. Does anyone know which case provides a better fit for the Pixel XL?
I have the Maxboost mSnap thin case, and it's pretty good. It's incredibly snug, thin, and well aligned for all the ports and buttons.
The long to negatives would be:
- slippery, though it feels like it's just the result of a slick factory powder coating that will diminish after a week of use, increasing its grip
- buttons are hard to press due to how small the cutouts are.
I can happily live with it until a premium, ultra thin case comes around.
My Ringke Fusion shipped yesterday from amazon so it should get here next week and I'll be able to give it a try. Right now I'm using the Spigen Liquid Crystal case on my phone and it fits really well so I can only guess the hybrid should be similar. I am partial to Ringke though because I'm one of those people who like to hang phone charms off my phones and their case has a cut out for them.
I'm loving the rhino shield crash guard bumper. It doesn't even make the XL feel bigger like it did on my 6P. Fits really well and the only problem that some people might have with it is the buttons are a bit hard to press. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for something minimalistic.

Slickwraps taking orders but arent delivering last I read.
I ordered xtremeguard full body, which ill use to protect the back. But wraps don't do too well with pocket lint in my pocket. Besides I have the blue xl, so id prefer clear.
