[Q] Light manager suddenly stopped working on my DROID 4g

Hello,
I have just noticed today that light manager has completely stopped working on my DROID 4g (jb 4.1.2.) I have been using it for months without a problem and now I can't even get the LED to work in order to test the different colors. I updated it to the current version, uninstalled and reinstalled, downgraded from a backup version and still no luck. I uninstalled it and installed light flow but the testing function wouldn't work in that app either. I had begun to think the LED had just burned out but it still turns red when the battery gets below 10%. I did update a few apps through the play store today but I went and reverted to the older versions through a back up and it still hasn't started working again. The Google play store appears to have updated today as well but I don't have a backed up version of that. Any ideas what could have suddenly changed that would have caused this problem?
Thanks,

[Q] app defaults restore after every boot(after rooting)

hello.
i have a moto G dual sim indian version.
i rooted it yesterday, following the method given by this site: androidadevices>motorola>moto g
everything was perfect exept for the last step. after entering the code
superboot-windows.bat
in cmd it indicated i have succeded. but on my phones screen the boot animation appeared and dissapeared in a fraction of a second.
i waited. then my screen turned purple and faded out from the edges to the center.
i waited for about ten minutes and then removed the usb. then i held the power butoon for about 8 seconds and then the phone booted up.. but it took longer than usual. it turned out to have super su installed. i even checked with the root checker app which also indicated my phone is rooted.
now whenever i reboot my phone, it still takes as long as the first time it booted after rooting, i noticed these things:
1. the notification saying "clear a notification by swiping"
2. i had set the google launcher as my default launcher when i boot it goes back to motorola launcher.
3. i had even installed lmt launcher in which i set up the pie controls and checked the box for "start on boot". it did not start on boot and my pie set up was gone.
4.i cant send/ dwnload images in whatsapp.
please help me. have i gone wrong in the process of rooting? (Or is it normal? )
[and also google play services kept crashing i cleared data under app settings and it stopped.]
thank for your time

Issues with freezing Pixel 8.1

So, banking on the kindness of some like-minded strangers.
I'm having issues with a Pixel freezing.
OS: Whatever the latest version of 8.1 is in the UK as of 28/03/18 (can't be sure due to issue but I update ASAP)
Not Rooted
Running a custom launcher (Action Launcher)
When I boot the device, Android runs normally for about 30 secs, and then freezes. It still appears to be running, a couple of notifications show and will display the power menu, but does not respond to touch input. I had the 'show touch' feature in developing settings enabled, and the screen is still receiving touch ok so not a hardware problem as far as screen is concerned. I have booted into safe mode, and same result. Recovery mode operates as normal, but doesn't appear to offer anything of use. Also, as it freezes, a FC notification appears, but will be for different apps. I don't know for it's linked, but only after it froze I got a notification saying storage was full, I thought I had at least 1GB but can't be sure. Also, it happened first as I was attempting to share a photo from GPhotos to a contact in Allo. The other day I tried to take a video twice, and both times the system crashed when I pressed stop at the end of the video. Both times the system worked fine when I restarted.
If anyone can shed some light, or has managed to sort same issue, or can direct to a good thread (couldn't find one that helped) I would be immensely grateful, and will send kudos and good vibes.

Google pixel restarts and gets stuck at Google Icon with a progress bar

Hi,
Hope you are well.
I had bought my Google Pixel about 2 months ago. It was completely new and working fine. I then upgraded it to Android P beta which ofcourse is buggy. After some time, I had random crashes and freezes on my phone so citing that I decided to move back to the stable update. Once I did that, the phone started behaving abnormally. I was unable to use it completely without anything installed or with the usual softwares. It would work fine in Safe Mode. It used to restart and then get stuck at Google Icon with a bar showing at the bottom of it. I then went back to beta where I had the exact issue but it then started working fine. However, yesterday on the beta version as well its speaker did not work. I restarted it and every app got stuck then it restarted on its own and got stuck like the stable version. But I rebooted forcefully and it worked fine. As I have it in warranty from a local vendor (now google in Pakistan), so I decided to reinstall the stable version as we now had June patch. As soon I installed the stable version, without anything installed the phone started restarting just like it used to. It gets stuck on google icon with a progress at the bottom and doesn't work until I use the power button to forcefully shut it down.
I want to unlock the bootloader and flash a previous build but I don't know whether I should do that or just send it back as I am not able to judge up until now whether that's the hardware or the software.
I will really appreciate some help as I have got multiple responses on google searches but these explain motherboard as culprit. :crying:
Update: The phone again is working absolutely fine in safe mode. I just tried that. However, I am unable to even touch it in the normal mode on stable version. I have already tried the rescue OTA.

EMUI 9 WhatsApp notification problem

My phone, a Huawei mate 9 MHA-L29C636, received the Android Pie update (B159) 3 days ago and everything was working fine.
Since yesterday though, completely out of the blue, my WhatsApp notifications misbehave.
In my settings I had and still have a notification sound and default vibration set.
Now though when I receive an incoming message the LED does not light up, there is no icon in the notification bar, there is no incoming sound and there is nothing inside the notification panel but there is a vibration. This vibration though is not just once like it should be but it keeps on vibrating until I manually open WhatsApp and open the incoming message.
If my phone is not in my pocket and I don't notice the vibration it discharges all the battery.
I tried all the notification switches that Android pie has to offer but to no avail. Then I completely uninstalled WhatsApp, rebooted my phone and reinstalled it from the play store but the issue remains.
So I had the bright idea to try to install WhatsApp for business as a completely new app that has never been installed neither on my phone nor associated to my Google account on the playstore, using my second SIM as phone number.
You won't believe it, also this fresh installation has exactly the same issues.
Anybody experiencing similar problems?

You don't need to uninstall it, just update to the latest version from this morning. Now both gravity and whatsapp are working fine together again
