Downgrade oreo to nougat without loosing root? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions and Answers

Hi!
I have a rooted galaxy s7 g930f running stock oreo (that I updated from nougat using Odin).
I'm getting fed up with all the bugs on oreo and would like to go back to nougat.
Is there any way to do that without loosing root and my data?
Thanks in advance!

Technically it's possible, but downgrading from Oreo to Nougat without wiping is going to cause more bugs than you probably have right now.
Your best bet is to backup everything, flash Nougat clean with Odin, and re-apply root.

Proper way to flash/upgrade to Nougat?

I currently have a G920F with Xstrestolite 3.3, and Android 6.0.1. What's the proper way to upgrade to nougat? Will I need to perform a clean wipe beforehand?

I always do a clean wipe when upgrading from one android version to another. Just make sure to do the usual such as backups and so on.
Do i need to update any bootloaders or such before performing a clean wipe, or just straight flash the Nougat rom with TWRP?
Nougat is
slow,
lag,
Bad battery ,
Slow charging battery
no good root
no xposed
no custom kernels
no good WiFi signal
More...
So you're saying it's not good? ?

Nougat roms are compatible with marshmallow bootloader so no need to update. Just on a side note, roms can be changed, just because 1 person has got a bad experience shouldn't put you off, if you find you don't like it you can always revert.

Anyway to downgrade back to nougat?

Install Nougat rom with TWRP after to install OREO rom with binary 3?

Hi!, i installled Oreo on my S7 g930f but i now have one problem. The ROM binary from oreo is 3, and Nougat use 2, for this reason i cannot to downgrade to nougat. Recently i installed TWRP and a custom Oreo rom.
Its possible to install a custom Nougat rom through TWRP?
Many Thanks!
You should be able to flash a Nougat ROM via TWRP, but you'll have to make sure to flash the bootloader and modem back to Nougat if the ROM doesn't include it as part of its install.
I've gone between Oreo and Nougat a few times, granted my roll backs were using a TWRP backup and not a nougat flash.

Have you some tutorial teaching how to make this downgrade.
After the update my mobile is Just Call of Emergency, and the patch to solve this just works at Nougat.

Downgrade with Odin

Guys, recently I have flashed the stock pie via Odin on my S8+ (SM-G955FD) but for some reasons I want to go back to Oreo, can I do it via Odin, just flashing Oreo firmware, or may I have to do something else?

Yes you should.be able to revert to Oreo using Odin.
The limiting factor is bootloader version number has to be the same as what is on pie version. So basically the latest version of Oreo before the pie update should work.
You usually have to factory reset your phone first too or it'll boot loop after the down grade when it gets to the app optimization screen.
