G920P Impressively Resistant FRP, looking for new methods. - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Device: G920P
Binary: Samsung Official
Unable to bypass FRP, and I have attempted flashing every stock firmware via every Odin release from 3.10 to the most current update, to include a rather desperate shot in the dark where I checked the nand erased, efs, and bootloader options, all to no avail.
To assuage any misgivings, I am quite well aware of the moral quandaries associated with this sort of issue. As it happens, I share them. This phone was found in a friend's storage locker, among her (admittedly shady) ex-husband's effects. I have checked the IMEI status (clear,) and made repeated attempts to contact the current owner of the phone number I found on the SIM card. Nothing. So, I am at a loss for what to do next.

Sell it on ebay "for parts or repair, wont turn on, good LCD".
P.S. "FRP" means reactivation lock, right? Samsung account? Or Google account?

FRP is an acronym for "Factory Reset Protection," and I've only ever encountered it with Google accounts. Samsung claims to have the ability to bypass it on their support page, but I'm taking this as a challenge.

Ok, then it's simpler.
Google for the "frp via adb" and read, find and flash a combination rom for your device and do the job.
Not a bad challenge. You'll have some fun.
But I've had much more when disabling reactivation lock (Samsung account) on SM-G920V bought on ebay

This problem has Samsung tech support stumped...

Hi all,
My device: Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F running 6.0.1)
So I've been dealing with Samsung tech support for the last week and believe it or not, things have just gone from bad to much, much, much worse. I am now completely & entirely locked out of my phone (which is running stock firmware).
Background: I wanted to change my Samsung account details (that I've had for nearly 10yrs) from an old email address to another new email account I had. From a combination of reading a few forums & following instructions throughout the actual process on my phone, it turns out that I obviously mad a bad choice. Long story short, I eventually got back to normal and had full access to my phone again, but under 'Settings' > 'Lock screen & security', my 'Reactivation lock' was now enabled (even though I hadn't changed or updated any firmware - only changed my samsung account) and I couldn't slide it to 'off' - even with my correct Samsung Account details?
From speaking to Samsung tech surrport, they said that the changes made to my Samsung email address most likely corrupted some protected file (boot file perhaps, I don't know) and that maybe a trace of my original Samsung account was still on the phone somewhere and now that I was after trying another - they conflicted and were causing me problems. In short, the tech guy said that "the problem is embedded in your software and you will need to do a full factory reset".
The problem (as I explained it to him) was that even with my correct Samsung account details (which he could verify because he remote connected to my phone), (a) I couldn't disable 'reactivation lock' before any factory reset and (b) I couldn't remove the existing Samsung account from my phone before doing so either. I even tried logging onto findmymobile.samsung.com on my PC (which I could do no problem) and tried to disable reactivation lock, but again - it wouldn't allow me to, it just kept sliding back to the 'on' position? The tech support guy proceeded to do an 'emergency recovery & initialization' via the Smart Switch app to reset my device, but now I'm stuck at the initial setup screen (select language, WiFi, etc. and then it comes to my Samsung account details and now it says; "this device is locked because of an abnormal factory reset, etc." However, here's the stickler that even has Samsung tech support baffled........ Despite knowing my samsung account credentials (email address & password), it keeps telling me "processing failed". Whether I try the new details or the old/original ones, I get the same 'processing failed' message! As above, I am assuming this is because there is corrupt Samsung account info in some protected boot file or something, because of two different Samsung accounts I used.
As I am locked out, there is not much I can really do to resolve this. I have researched a lot and I have two queries I am hoping some genius here knows about. (1) Is there not a way to obtain and flash a complete set of original 'everything' to my phone in download mode? (i.e. availing of the 'BL', 'AP', 'CP', 'CSC' functions within Odin?) I am used to inputting files in AP for flashing .tar files for either custom stuff or original firmware, but I have never messed with any of the other options and don't even know where to find the files to put into each 'field' if it was a viable option. If this method is not a way of completely wiping my phone back to the day it came out of the box, what is the method to do this? (2) I have come across a thing called GSM Flasher while doing some research. Not the standalone FRP remover tool which I tried but doesn't work, but the full suite tool. i.e. The one with the cat wallpaper which has Miracle 2.27A, Eagle Eye 2.27A, Aladdin v2 1.34 & 4SE 2.0.4. To the untrained eye, this looks like it could do practically anything to recover any phone, but I am finding it quite hard to come across a decent instructional website or video (in English) on YouTube and/or to determine if it will work and do the job?
Has anyone any ideas about how I go about getting into whatever boot or protect files there are on my phone (that a factory reset doesn't touch) and a way to remove everything and then replace it with original stuff so that I can get ride of this corrupted samsung account issue?
Would really appreciate if anyone who has more know-how than Samsung tech support can weigh-in with some help.
Thanks in advance.

[FRP] [Samsung Reactivation] Bypass - Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920V 7.0

FRP Samsung Reactivation Lock
I'm doing this on a Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920V Android 7.0
Hard Reset Phone.
Boot into Android.
Goto emergency dialer and dial 112.
As soon as it starts dialing click bluetooth and pair a headset.
After this go and enable wifi.
Next push the button on your headset and select the bottom left G icon for google.
Now you can access the web / apps etc.
Goto settings by saying "settings" and if it doesn't show then scroll over right to "in apps" (bar below the URL on the browser) and select settings..
Then Settings> Backup and Reset> click Factory Reset and follow through with it. You should end up on a Samsung account entry screen. Put a Samsung account in and then go to Accounts and make sure it is there. Reboot your phone.
When the phone has rebooted go through setup to the end then to Settings> Accounts and remove the Samsung account. You'll notice you get an error saying invalid id or password.
Go to the browser and type in https://www.4shared.com/s/fG7xZS8Rfgm download and install and run. Search for Samsung Account, click and expand it, scroll down to you see the string ending in .EmailUpdatesView and click on it. Click Try it.
Okay now were almost done. It should bring up a screen titled Change Email ID. Look at the bottom of this screen and you will notice a delete account link. Click this, enter your password and remove your account.
Done. Successfully removed.
I haven't yet figured out a way to totally remove it so this is just a temporary bypass. If you reset your phone you will have to do the whole process over again. I will post additional info to completely remove it or new steps once i figure it out.
I don't have a bluetooth headset but, do you think this method would work for my situation? I would buy one if so.

I did this on the Verizon variant. Shouldn't be much different. What i would do is buy a bluetooth headset and give it a try and if it doesn't work you can always take it back. =]
I can remove it completely for a small fee if interested. Different method than above and for sure completely gone when i'm done. Just pm me.

I updated my post. I bought these, and it doesn't work. Does it have to be a bluetooth headset? Or will bluetooth headphones with a mic work? I am on 7.0 now.
Also, I would be willing to pay. How much and what's the process? Do I have to send the phone or is it something you can do over teamviewer or something? Thanks man.

Those would work but I am not sure about 7.0 the manual way. Things are different a bit i believe. You'd just have to give it a try. As for me doing it for you I will PM you.

My friend found a Galaxy S6 edge phone somewhere at town hall, he wait about 3 days and nobody call the phone. Phone is locked by fingerprint and password. He did factory reset and locked to Samsung Account Log in. He gave the phone to me about a month ago. Long time I did not play with phone and after reading pages of android forums and articles, i just know about FRP. I have tried nomorous method and nothing success. I can register with google account on set up. Landed on this page and 4 shared link above is not work. Tried to flash what named combination rom to get boot into factory binary. Can not get thru due to blocked by R/L (Reactivation Lock).
I own and used daily S7 flat, happy knowing that not easy to bypass this samsung anti-theft feature. But this also trapped many people who bought used samsung phone and the previous owner did not reset properly and uncontactable LOL

The 4shared link I believe was for "quick shortcut maker" you can google this and find it. This was also not a 100% method of bypassing. I think I did another tutorial somewhere on here explaining the full method. You might try searching my posts for it. I'd link you but I am working and don't have the time to search.

I got trolled by FRP

My girlfriend wanted to sell her mother's old S7 and I was tasked with wiping/resetting it. When the phone asked me for the password to the Google account, I thought "Don't try to trick a trickster, puny phone!" went straight into recovery mode and factory reset. Worked like a charm, I could create a new account, use playstore, phone ready to sell. So I went into recovery again, factory reset again and - fast forward a few days - the phone was sold and sent back, because after the 2nd reset FRP triggered and the buyer could not use it.
Main problem: The new account I created. I remember only [email protected] and the password.
Since it asked for _a_ previous owners login, I already tried gf's mother's, but that won't work.
So, is there a way to find out the test account? Otherwise, I found this method by tpierce89 to bypass FRP, but I guess at least I'd need the correct firmware to reflash, it says G930FXXS8ETC6.
Any ideas?

It's the test account it's asking for, surely you can guess what it is? test account? test phone? test something?
Always sign out and remove the google account before any modification.
I'd be suprised if the method you've linked still works but you can try.
I tried all combinations I could think of. The thing is, I put in test and something as name and used the first gmail suggested.

Will do in the future, but since I don't do these things regularly anymore, I wonder what they think of until the next time.
What puzzles me is, why could I log in after the first reset, didn't put in the password then and FRP didn't trip.
Well, it looks like we have to pay for unlocking, hope it won't be more than the price we took for the phone.

It depends on the firmware you had, some allow x amounts of factory resets before FRP kicks in. Its usually the network branded firmware which allows this.
AFAIK it was unbranded straight from amazon.de

Well my advice is to turn off FRP lock, it's a nuisance. It's not like a theif is going to bring you the phone back because they can't use it. They'll just throw it away or use for parts.

Anyway, is there a way to get around FRP on that phone now? Or do you mean turn it off on new phones?

Sign into Google online with the same email and password your using on the device. Then device activity and notifications, then review devices. Select the phone your want to disable, then the red "remove" button. Sign out online.
Make sure sync is turned on, so the Google account can sync with the phone and turn off FRP lock.
Then after that to check. Turn phone off, press volume down+home+power to boot into download mode, read what it says about FRP lock in top left.
Then just reboot phone by pressing volume down to cancel download mode.
Other way is just remove Google account from phone before modification.

Samsung Reactivation Lock broken?

Hellow, I am the owner of a Samsung Galaxy S6 I think its Europe version because I bought it in spain.
In march 2020 I had decided to factory resset my phone because I had a lot of junk. To my surprise when the Welcome screen for a setup showed up and I was trying to set it up (I did this probably once a year) a message of "The phone was factory resseted on a anormal way please sign in to your samsung account to unlock the device". Keep in mind here in spain we were in a complete lock down. I did put my email and password it showed 2 messages and noething happned, and I know its not the wrong password because if i did type a random thing it will show "Wrong ID" so I tried contacting samsung but as we were on a lockdown it was imposible, I tried from find my phone (samsung version) and I clickcked on unlock phone (while the phone was connected to the inernet) but noething happned as a last resource I tried flashing a custom rom (I had Samsung Official Rom) but when I go to oddin mode or download mode it shows: Reactivation Lock: ON.
Is there any way to unlock it, my mothers phone is broken and she is in need of one.
I have attached some imagenes.
I hope I can find a fix, because the most anoing thins is that is supposed to be a mecanisim so if the phone gets stolen, but i have been the owner of it for 5 years
for starters, try the methods explained here

Question Unlocking Galaxy Flip 4

Hello all,
I know already that this might not be possible but I have to ask anyways. My father recently passed away unexpectedly and he has just recently bought a galaxy flip 4 (before he had a galaxy S21).
Now he still has some photos on there he recently took (Google backup is off).
I already tried unlocking the phone via Samsung find my phone but I always get the message, that the function is not enabled in the phone.
Same goes for the S21 which I also can not unlock.
The time between unlocks is already at 48h because I've tried all the numbers I could find around the house.
Is there a possibility of either:
1. Unlock the device by rooting or patching a file in recovery mode or someway else?
2. Is it possible to enable the unlock function for find my phone somehow?
3. Is it possible to reset the counter for failed unlock attempts? Because I have the feeling it has no upper limit and will just double in time forever... I may find the correct pin eventually but I need more tries.
If any of the above is possible for the S21 then this would work too because he just switched phone 2 days before he passed and the files are still pretty much identical.
If you can help and need proof of possession or anything from me to proof that this is indeed the phone of my dad please write me a pn.
I would really love to have the last pictures taken ...
I'm so sorry about your loss. I have great news! I've recently had to bypass the FRP Google lock and after many hours of research, I was able to finally find a reliable program that was free and free of viruses. I can confirm it works on the Flip4 because that's the phone I used it on. https://samfw.com/blog/samfw-frp-tool-1-0-remove-samsung-frp-one-click

I've tried this tool but I can't get into the engineering mods by entering the code into the emergency call pad.
Therefore the tool doesn't detect my phone.
It is also not recognized if I go to ADB update in the recovery menu.
How did you do it?
I got you, do you have time right now? I can work on it with you before my kid wakes up
You don't need the engineering service menu right right now, to remove the lock. I'll walk you through it.
I have a z flip 4 5g and I'm locked out of it and I cannot factory reset it and I do not have on USB debugging. Is there a way to enable USB debugging on locked z flip 4?
Can't you just factory reset it in the recovery menu?
I thought the whole idea of this post was to save the data? Everything mentioned here pretty much is gonna wipe the phone. Which leads to all that's trying to be done is bypass factory reset protection. If you have death certificate you can get Google and samsung to release the locks accordingly and it can be factory reset from the recovery menu.
From there. Frp bypass is a very gray area on xda and most people will not help.
