Perfect Skin and Protector for Note 9 - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Accessories

My dream phone Galaxy Note 9 needed top notch protection. Didn't want to take a risk, so went on to hunt for the best of the best SKIN & SCREEN protector and found the perfect one. GadgetShieldz It Is!
Just amazed at the way it eliminates the scratches. The major part is it just cuddles the whole screen right till the edge of the screen glass. Also very hard to figure out whether it is applied or not.
The Skin too protects the back, camera lens (a big +) from scratches and gives the mobile a total grip. If you are looking to use your phone without any bulk, this must be the protection to go for. Go for the case fit screen protector if you are planning to use a case.

How is the performance of the screen protector with spen, also when you applied the screen protector was there any bubble initially?

I just got a dbrand skin for mine and I'm loving it. Great fit and got a matching one for my MacBook Air too!

with the GadgetShieldz screen protector, would the Samsung case that comes in the box work properly? Please confirm.

I don’t use S Pen much but from whatever I used, the S Pen works normally as it should without any screen protector. Even the Air commands work perfectly alright. Didn’t see any depressions or scratches on the screen.
And the bubbles can be seen if your installation goes wrong, but it will all get vanished within a day. Trick is to squeeze out as much as moisture as possible immediately after confirming the alignment. I didn’t get even a single bubble.

They offer a case fitting screen protector too on their website. So I think those should work with any case.
I applied and checked, it fits perfectly.

The dragon skin looks really cool. Also, the camo was cool too.

Obviously not .

Custom SlickWraps. I did a pretty bad job of applying it. It still looks good, but tiny imperfections make the whole thing underwhelming IMO. But I'll get over it. Also, the bulge is a metal plate for the magnetic phone holders.

I've got a spare Slickwraps skin, so I'm giving it away to someone in the UK

Nope, not much. Other than scratch protection, skins doesn't give any protection.

Ordered from Gadgetshieldz on 25th August and I'm still waiting for it to arrive!
I am in the UK, but even stuff from China doesn't take longer than 2 weeks. This is my first time ordering stuff from India, and will probably be the last.

Phatom Skinz *ON SALE*

I highly recommend them. They worked flawlessly on my Evo. And I had the Full Screen Protector and Carbon Fiber on my Evo. And I plan on purchasing for my Epic too.

Also here is a coupon for 30% off. summersale2010
I hear that Phantomskinz are easily scratched. I know that they will still protect the phone even if they do get scratched, but then you still end up looking at a scratched skin for as long as you have it. Have you had any problems with that?
PS' site labels the product as "self-healing" from scratches, but from what I've read it seems as though even a moderately large/deep scratch manages to stay put. Other than that, PS skins are supposed to be great, but that was the reason I was initially turned off from them.

They are self healing. I had 2 scratches on my Evo from dropping it and they disappeared in like 2 or 3 days. And whenever it looked a little blurry I would just use some polishing compound and rub it and it came back to a new state.
I have tried many of these covers and phantom skinz are the best in terms of not even noticing it is on the device. Also they are slick and generally you just forget they are even there. Bestskinsever and invisible shields almost always have a slightly bumpy texture or graininess that I could never use.

Just purchased mine. Matte version for me though, I hope it's as nice of quality as people say. It was a touch decision, but since wrapsol hasn't released their skin yet and neither has Stenheil, I made the leap

Gonna purchase a set but quick question , Is it ok to use without a pouch or case , it wont lift from keeping the phone in my pockets..
I would like to know if there are lifting issues also.

does it protect the screen too? i watched some of the installatioin vids, and it doesnt look like it covers the screen...
just curious to those who ordered, which skin did you get? the black carbon looks cool because it blends in with the black, i noticed on the white carbon that it does not cover the entire back with some black spots showing.
i hate applying skins on phones with curves its a pita

I did it on the Evo and it looked AWESOME. So I'm guessing it will look nice here too.
I personally went with the Matte one because... well, matte is a great finish and I'm hoping it's a cut above the clear case when it comes to glare/reflections. Oh, and the chromatic are just too ostentatious for me.
Haha I got the carbon fiber though now I want other colors when they come out.
Has anyone managed to get the bottom back corners on in any satisfactory fashion? I guess I must've stretched them out trying to get them to go down...took me a while to realize I'd have to prioritize the outside edge and let the inside flatter stuff overlap or hit at weird angles if they have to.
Has anyone used gadgetwarranty before? If it really is as easy as they make it seem, I like knowing that if this falls off in a week because of some raised edges that I can get a new one for $3 + stamp.
I got my back on nearly perfectly, however I'm noticing what I think are stretch marks from using their application tool Luckily, the internet special gave me 2 skins so I get another chance! I'll probably apply the second back today with great care and see how it looks.
On a side note, I bought the matte finish skin and applied that to the screen as well. To anyone thinking of buying this finish, it's wonderful but DO NOT apply the matte screen protector. The skin kit comes with 2 matte and 2 clear screen covers as well as 2 full body matte covers. I suggest using the clear ones as the matte screen covers massively distorts the beautiful screen.
For $18, 4 screen covers and 2 full body covers with lifetime warranty is a pretty great deal!
chromatic skin
heres the lime green skin that i purchased from them and i really like it. im gonna try out the carbon fiber next time. here are some pics for you guys to see.

But I agree. The carbon fiber is a odd texture and looks too slippery.

I, like many others i`m sure, is looking for a good quality shell for a Omnia 7. Can`t find anything as yet.

It's ok, thought I would recommend getting the black one rather than the smoked one I have. The only issue I have is that the sleep, camera and volume buttons are a bit difficult to press with the case one. I think it may soften or loosen up with a bit of use so I'll keep it on for now and see how it goes.
DC
Yup they soften up
i was the same. But few days now and they are nice and easy to press.
I did give them a bit of a warming up by clicking them a fair few times, but does work to loosen the silicone up.
I got the black one as you can see by this post/pics

I'm struggling with screen protectors though. I ordered some cheapy ones from a German seller but, with the greatest of respect, they're utter dogsh1t. Far too thin, scratched by a piece of card I was using to push bubbles out.
I really want to find a nice anti-glare protector if I can, otherwise I'll be going the Martin Fields route.

Sounds like you got the same ones as me, That's my 4th film heh... I know why they put 6 in there now but for £4........ or a scratched phone ?
Ether way mine is more protected than my other parts of me have ever been
btw i found it's less pressure with the card, and more laying it down and just ever so slowly backing it up and using the card to make sure the bubble you saw don't re-lay where it was.
I'm no expert but 1st go was a joke.... so many bubbles i laughed hard...
2nd better but no dice,
3rd was brilliant apart from a few bits, and my mind just made me take it off and start again
4th was perfect give or take 1 - 3 bubbles i can live with until i try again
You want to hear how my mate managed with an ipad XD
I am having trouble finding screen protectors as well. I think I ordered the same thing as you guys (bedifol ultraclear) from protectionfilms24 but when I went to their site, it seems it's pretty much their lowest range and looking at the reviews for the various cuts they offer for other phones, I am just wondering if it's worth not having a screen protector at all.
Please let me know if you have managed to found one that is good.
Cheers.
Low range - high range.... It was ALL that was out when i got the phone/wanted protection
It does what it says.
It protects the screen XD
0.05mm thick - Same as the "one" for £8 which i bought as with the £3 one to test all of them, Recently bought the martin fields and imo... it tints it for me.... i like the clear/glazed protectors which look like the glass it should be.
So 6 for £4 is win win
I got a screen protector from here http://www.devdef.com/products/for-samsung-omnia-7 (actually I got two), but I found that they're pretty good and by far the easiest to install of any screen protector I've ever used. To apply it, you need to moisten it (instructions are on the site), and then you can slide it over the surface of the phone, before it dries, until you get the perfect positioning. Bubbles are also easy to remove because of this - you just have to do it before it sets. The only drawback, really, is that it's pretty reflective. I don't notice very much in use, but it reflects bright lights quite a lot, so if you're looking for anti-reflective coating, I'd give this a miss. Also on a plus - it's pretty strong as you can see from the video on the site. Also, as the instructions say, it improves the longer it's on your device. Initially it looks a bit poor, but stick with it (no pun intended )

I got mine few weeks already from amazon:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/GEL-CASE-SA...W8MW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1292094897&sr=8-3
Very nice indeed. And I am using savvy screen protector, little rubbery in touch but not bad at all
Yeah, I used fairy liquid and water, and you only need a tiny amount of fairy liquid - it's concentrated, you know ;-), and you also only need very little of the solution on the screen protector. Also, as I mentioned it looks pants to start off with, and it takes a while to dry, but eventually it looks fine. If you like a shiny screen protector.
I bought both of them on eBay. Very fine !

I am looking for a case which is similar to my incipio feather for iphone 4 and as far as I can see they don't exist and I detest gel cases with a passion so will continue to wait.
Very slippery phone to hold too!
Seen the perfect one but not in stock for weeks (judging by the galaxy s model).

As promised the pics of the CM barely there case.
edit: It also came with a free screen protector & a piece of cleaning cloth which I haven't used yet. Waiting for my current screen protector to be bit more scratched up (martin fields). Shouldn't take long.
That case looks really good just a pity I had to send my Omnia 7 away for repair!
What bothers me with these case is that I won't feel the cold metallic, sturdy cover finish in my hand anymore Is there any possibility to have a bumper instead?

[REVIEW] Halo Premium Anti-Glare/Matte Screen Protector

Promised to do a review on this screen protector, so paulo this one's for you. Haha. Well I've had this screen protector on for about 4 weeks now, and I absolutely love it. I would definitely recommend it, especially for those on a budget. A $5.95 well spent.
Pros:
Dry application
Precise cut outs
Great touch responsiveness (Swyping with this bad boy is a breeze.)
No fingerprints
No smudges
Better visibility in sunlight
Looks sexy lol
Cons:
Took me 2 out of the 3 protectors to get it on right, or without bubbles. Maybe I'm just not good at that.
Screen quality degradation (This is expected with a anti-glare/matte screen protector. There is some pixelation, which is really noticeable on white backgrounds.)
You can but it HERE.
Pictures that took me forever.

Thanks for the review. I already ordered mine and just wanted to check out some more images of it. Out of curiosity, what case are you using? Also is there a notice gap between the protector and the lip of the case? The first few images make it seem like it, but the rest make the gap appear small.

I'm guessing you are taking about the difference between this picture of the screen protector:
vs
Well there are two reasons.
1. I didn't apply the screen protector perfectly. You can also see the little bubbles created by dust left on the screen. So I took it off, and tried again.
2. Two different cases. I doubt this affects it, however, considering I switch the cases out per week and the gap between the screen protector and the case doesn't increase or shrink.
I have two cases. The white one the Mercury TPU Nexus 4 case(comes in many different colors), and the black one is the Acase Superleggera Pro Hybrid dual layer Nexus 4 case(also comes in different assortments).
I'm also using this screen protector and I love it too, great price ya can't go wrong with these. ????

I bought this screen protector 3 months ago but never used it, as it looks like a hassle to apply if it takes going through most of them to get one that is applied properly. I just kept the stock plastic protector on mine; maybe after that gets destroyed I will give it a try.

its pretty simple just be quick, and i would day do it in the restroom, less dust in the air. always works for me.
I've installed countless screen protectors for me and friends. For the wet ones, you definitely want to be in a steamy bathroom as that helps settle the dusts. The dry ones, need to be done quickly. You can slip a small piece of tape between the screen and the screen protector to grab some of the dust. The stickiness of the tape beats the static force created by the protector. Not sure of its technical name.
My silliest method was to put the phone in the middle, on top of a fan blowing air upwards. That way it created a space where dust will not be. It worked perfectly.

I mean, I guess there is. But to notice the bubbling you would have to nitpicking or looking in with a magnifying glass (not really). I'd say the bubbling on the side is about .25 cm from the edge. Really slight, and with my case on you can't notice it.
Slightly off topic, but what case is that on your N4 OP?

Sir Lancelot's Holy Grail Tempered Glass Review

A short review about Sir Lancelot's Armor Holy Grail Tempered Glass Screen Protector. (http://www.sirlancelotsarmor.com/collections/lg/products/holy-grail-glass-screen-protector-nexus4)
I'm currently using a glass from Sir Lancelot's and all i can say it's good.
$31.99 for white
$27.99 for black
Hardness: They claim that it has 9h of hardness. I've been using this for almost 2wks and i can say that it doesn't have any scratches even i always drop my phone.
Case compatibility: It works good with official bumper. But my problem is i can't use it on my ringke fusion it lifts up the glass a little bit but its tolerable and i can't use my poetic border line on it because of fitting issues.
Sensitivity: I can say its has no sensitivity issues.
Warranty: They also offer a life time warranty. (http://www.sirlancelotsarmor.com/pages/warranty)
Fingerprints: I don't have fingerprint problems with this screen protector and it's easy to clean.
Others: It's easy to apply and 100% bubble free.
For all it's a good glass and worth for the money. I 100% suggest this tempered glass protectors. ?

Others: It's easy to apply and 100% bubble resistant.
For all it's a good glass and worth for the money.

I have problems deciding between the Iloome, Xgear Phanton, this one, or the one from MIME USA. I have emailed Mime Usa to see when they are available for the N4 (no buy button on their page). Which one is the best? And later this year Xgear will have the Krystal Sapphire glass for the nexus.
They all seem to be the same to be perfectly honest lol. Anyone got some experience with these protectors?:good:
how does it do with the Ringe Fusion?
In the first post, the OP had mentioned that Ringke Fusion slightly lifted the protector up so he/she chose not to use it.

I suggest you too use this one. I haven't experienced any scratch. And they claim 9h of hardness it's like the Krystal Sapphire glass.

I currently use the iloome, it's great, ok with PIE UI. However, there is some sensitivity loss compared to a plain screen protector.
I ordered one of these and will report and compare like I did with the Clarivue one.
Jim my friend, dunno why you order various products, but your review will help many to decide which one to choose. Good job buddy!!

LOL Why? Well for one, I am trying to get the perfect tempered glass cover. I have the iloome and may be the one, but it has a hairline scratch on the back side of it. iloome has refunded me the cost, which was awesome, Clarivue, I have my doubts getting any money back from, so saw this one on KS and was hesitant until now. Right now all I want is one that works and letting others know what I went through wouldn't hurt. I mean all these devs on the boards give so much of their time and life, I figured I can give back in some small way.
SL Holy Grail should hit my desk later today! Ok I like the Excalibur themed name...gives me a chuckle every time because of Monty Python, Search for the Holy Grail.
I saw mention of this screen protector not being able to be used with the Ringke Fusion case.
Is anyone willing to sand down the edge of the case a bit and report back on if it still raises the screen protector?

You will run the risk of the adhesive not sticking if you sand anything. I guess one can try if really that desperate.

No the tempered glass. OHHHHHH you wanted someone to sand down the case. Makes sense now lol. Sorry I misread...
Now sanding down the case would compromise the lip and make it look really bad. But thats if I tried sanding it myself. LOL
Some sandpaper, plastic polish and a micrometer screw gauge should be just about everything one should need to undertake this project.
The screw gauge should assist in letting one know when 0.4mm has been sanded off the inside of the lip. This way the phone still fits snug and should cease to raise the screen protector. The plastic polish can be used to rid the hazy sanded plastic look provided the case is made of a solid material that is the same color.
I have already ordered the case but not willing to fish out the extra cash on a screen protector I cant use with my case. Someone must have both and willing to take one for the team in here lol

This is my clear favorite since I literally HATE flip cases and generally think, that cases should not kill the elegant shillouette of a phone.
So I don´t link monster security safety cases either. But that´s just me
I have found these which let you add custom images:
Cover Case
Leather Flip Case
I just ordered a case from Amazon. Will see how it preforms before I post a link to it. It looks promising.
will the cases and screen protectors for the chinese/international variant (x720) fit on the US variants (x727)?

I ordered this one Flip Leather Case, but when i ordered it come from China (available in EU warehouse now) and is stil in transit.
Is there a flip case that has a magnet inside and smart sleep function? To turn on and of the phone when it flips? I didn't find on ebay.
Curious if anyone got one of these cases

Sandstone Case
I got this one from eBay. Copies the sandstone finish from OnePlus. The ring stand can be removed.
Item number: 291908663865(Can't post links yet)
I wanted one like the caselogic I have for my Note 4 but could not find. This one at least sort of "looked" the same. But it doesn't lol. the side gold color is silly and ugly but it is $5 and delivered from USA. So its a cheap much better solution till I can find what I want/need
PS: caselogic for note 4 is beter cause it has hard case on the side. this Chinese doesn't (it just changed the side color.

good things about the case:
1. protects well the screen
2. using the fingerprint almost makes me feel that this case is a must. it fits my finger so perfectly that I have no miss reading it
3. because the side part is much stronger than the original case I don't accidently turn off the screen anymore when I rotate the phone
overall: not pretty but very functional case

I got the black leather case from the first link you posted from amazon... got it to hide the almost-rose-gold phone body color that was the only option to purchase during the 'lightning deals'. It fits really well, added grip on the sides, the fake leather backing gives it a nice texture but very plastic-y, doesn't overheat, overall it offers very little protection on the corners and the front glass is protected by the border of the case but only minimally. Hope this helps.
the leather is not even close to be leather. it is plastic imitating leather. The caselogic is way much better texture. My hope is that as the phone gets more popular a company like caselogic decides to build a case for. But ... it is only $5 and way much better than the one that comes with it.
I do like that i have to actually put some pressure to click in the buttons. this way, i never accidentally click on anything. And i never missed a fingerprint reading since i changed to this case. Link i gave is the same one, but delivers fast from usa.
if anyone find one that is real leather and not plastic in the sides please let me know.
this is what i want:
Bought this case https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N8Y8WUD/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Fits exactly as it should, slightly thicker than the stock case so the camera is _slightly_ more protected. Also has the thicker bumpers on the edges in the same material as the rest of the case. Not incredibly shock-proof but it fits the phone very well, looks nice, and when paired with the full-front Toshion screen protector it is very classy IMO. Pictures to come later when I get home!

As promised some photos of the case next to the stock case, and on the phone itself. Sorry for the potato quality, took the photos with my old Zenfone 2.
