Here I came up with the idea that everyone here can see or share different profiles of the governor for our Moto G4 / G4 Plus and thus improve the life of the battery without sacrificing performance always using a custom kernel.
ROMS: Oreo or Nougat..
Here's a couple of governor settings/sets of governor settings that have been previously posted. I have only tried Lightning Blade on Nougat (stock 7.0 with ElementalX kernel, magisk), any other combinations you may be best served by either reading through the posts or await member comments:

No - I've read that there are some odd performance issues with Xposed on stock Nougat (your experience may vary) and Greenify I've not used. I used to have ForceDoze or Naptime, which I may try again.
Does AKT work properly? I can't say anything, cause, there's always that "directory not found" message.
Lightning Blade is not the best, but it works fine, I'm using AOKP + Lightning Blade, with the following configuration in the EX Kernel Manager app:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
With that, I got an excellent SOT result compared to Stock Rom.
Day 1
Day 2
My use is moderate, two hours on social networks '(Twitter / Instagram)', two hours of youtube, one hour watching movies via MX Player the rest of the time is browsing the internet, will still test some other things like: Amplify, Greenify, reduce resolution to 720P
But I do not think I'm going to get better results, my battery is very worn out

Hi this is phantom, I've been an android enthusiast teo years ago and I've been experimenting on all phones ican get my hands on for tweaks in battery life and performance.
Right now i just want you to ask what apps/tweaks did you add/put on your build prop
What are the services you disabled and the receivers for it and any side effects and any more recommendations to reduce ram usage for n5?
Personally I use 5 apps for batt life:
Servicely
Nowakelock
Amplify
Powernap
Hibernation manager
This 5 apps are proven amd tested on 5 devices that i laid my hands on.
I would highly appreciate any recommendations here, any tweaks and any apps that i have missed and i may need to get a review in
PLEASE GET SCREENSHOTS IF YOU CAN FOR PROOF ON STATS.. I THANK YOU SO MUCH!

You forgot Marshmallow. I've found it to be worth more than all of those combined. With a new battery, I'm looking at battery drain very similar to KitKat.
New battery I got was this one: http://www.etradesupply.com/lg-nexus-5-d821-battery.html, was about $30 total to ship to US. Expensive, but I had it on good authority that it was legitimate. It certainly seems to be.
I understand marshmallow was pretty good but i had to revert back to lp for one thing..
I found a rom that can basically be as good as M
It was called raxfian OS
I have a batt life of 1% drain every 8-12 hrs with my own tweaks
Ill be providing the screenshot later for this for a proof..
On M have you used any apps to tweak battery life or performance?
Edit! Heres my batt life left on idle

It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the OnePlus 2 before depleting the battery.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Battery life is great with custom kernels. Can get 5hrs of SOT easily with medium to heavy usage

5-6 hours on screen with h2os stock kernel using LTE.
Very satisfied with h2os
I get around 5 hours with SOT.
5 hours seems to be the sweet spot for me. I am perfectly content with that number.
Drains a bit
Latest H2OS GAPPS NANO and root - only changed i/o sheduler to noop 1024kb read-ahead from 10am to 4pm on LTE and after that on wi-fi

Hi guys I've been a long time wondering about this two roms but havent find any post about specifically this two. Has any one some idea on the key difference over TSL CM13 over MK13? Are there any? What can you tell about it ?!
Have you tried both and which one do you prefer and why.
Thanks
Right now there is a battery drain bug on TS that ruins the fun if you use a certain combination of google apps. I'm not talking about a gapps issue, you just install certain google apps from the play store & then the battery drain starts :S
Mokee is fine, but the last time I tried FreeDcam did not work on it which is also a dealbreaker for me.

Do you know which app combo is that?
I'm currently using Resurrection Remix, which I love, but the battery goes down pretty fast compared to the last couple of MIUI7 dev roms I had before, perhaps I have this combo which is causing the issue and I don't know it.

Did not figure out out. With RR I had 7 hours Sot the other day though. The drain on RR is very different and much less pronounced.
I found TS to have good battery life

Could you please tap on the graph and upload a screenshot from there so network signal, wifi running times, awake time etc are visible?
I'm currently on the latest RR on the efficiency profile as well and I don't like the battery life at all. I have LTE and WiFi permanently on and I get a maximum of 2ish hours of SoT, which I don't like at all. MIUI 7 used to be a lot better.

The most here with 3h+ battery life use the phone mainly with wifi. Thats no comparison with using it mostly in 3g/4g mode.

It is? I thought 3G uses more battery than 4G.
In this video you can find which system Services and Apps can be Frozen and Disabled to get maximum Battery Life.
I got 6hrs+ of screen on time in 24hrs+ of usage with WiFi enabled. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W156pgnm58w
For Facebook, Instagram and Youtube I use Chrome. Stamina Mod was never turned on as it is also Disabled.
Firmware is RomAur 4.3 with Patched Stock Kernel .417

X Performance
I'm planning to buy the X Performance (F8132). It's got the same chipset as the XZ but with a smaller 2700mAh battery. Do you think I can obtain just as good SOT with this technique?

I rooted XXZ and debloat the official 7.0 rom with andro kernel.
Add init.d script to rom and use GostPaper v1.3 for interactive govner... NOW i got 10-12 hr SOT!!! ?
NOTE:
I used 3G only. and play online games like ClashRoyal... 2hr surfing web with chrome browser, check instagram and telegram, 15min calling under 3G band update my apps with play store. 3hr music playing and enable adaptive brightness.

Yes please. Or has anybody a software to deinstall bloatware?
Here is the definitive solution for those suffering from low SOT and battery drain after updating to Android 10
a) 30 min video playback on mxplayer (720p movie)
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
b)20 min web browsing on chrome (news articles and embedded media playback)
c)20 min web browsing on Opera mini(scrolling through forum)
So the real culprit for low SOT is poorly optimised/developed app (in my case opera mini)
--Conclusion--
1)Android 10.3.0 kernel does have reduced 'target load' (hope it might get restored to stock 90% in 10.3.1){as evidenced by checking kernel perameters and behaviour along with terminal emulator for ram usage_under root}
2)Some apps are getting released unoptimized for Android 10,they are exploiting poorly designed or rather I would say performance tuned kernels and are draining battery.
3)Battery optimization of OnePlus software won't work for such an app coz whenever it runs,either in foreground or background it will drain battery
--Solution--
1)Install an app which shows cpu states {the one I used is Ex kernel manager,it's a paid app and i use it to tweak kernel whenever i decide to root my phone,but there are free apps on playstore that offer battery stats functionality for free,download one and make sure the stats shown are that of Gold(big cluster) 825Mhz - 2803Mhz and not Silver(little cluster)}
2)Run the apps you regularly use one after another for atleast 20 min and check cpu stats before and after.
3)You will find app making cpu to run at 2.8Ghz,stop using it and find an alternative,if you can't avoid using it then hope either the app's or oneplus's next update fixes it.
Agreed, as we discussed in another thread. Since then i've seen multiple people talk about the stock kernel shooting up to high frequencies way too fast.
Wouldn't reducing the target load via EX Kernel Manager be possible ? I don't remember if the stock kernel exposes these settings in the app.
