I have a pretty long history with my bricked honor 8....
I have a FRD-AL00, and i rebranded i to FRD-L09, and when i wanted to install custom ROM, the phone got bricked and it shows black screen, not sign of life, only at fastboot devices
So i bough DC phoneix and i flashed the L09 version.... It flashed but it got stuck at VERLIST, that means i have to change the vendor/model to L09 etc at HCU.
So i did a board flash software at phoneix and i was able to boot at board software OS, but i can't do anything, so i changed the vendor/model to L09 at HCU at that time.
And i continued flashing the L09 version, this time it got passed at VERLIST but after the installation it got stuck at a bootloop.
Pretty complicated but yea, anything i should do?
Should i do everything in AL00?

I've read through the forums but am still quite unsure if i can restore my honor 6x from soft brick. It boots up but i get stuck in rescue mode if i have it charged Or it will just boot-loop if its not plugged in.
Im unable to use the DLOAD method. If i enter fastboot and use the three button method. I get put to the rescue screen. However i may be using the wrong firnware? Possibly.
Its a China version. PE-UL00 given to me from a friend, he said he had restored it to factory settings. So i wanted to upgrade the android kit kat to lollipop version. It was running emui 3. Kitkat 4.42. I believe updated the wrong firmware file through the local update method I download from firmware finder.
Basically from what ive read through the forums would i need to unlock the bootloader and flash stock firmware? . I have the information to acquire the bootloader key i believe and. I have downloaded honor multi tool and huawei multi tool, as well as adb drivers
I get confused as to which stock rom or. Firmware i should download or use. And i cant access the phone to see the build number. All i know is that it's. A China version. PINE-UL00. HONOR 6X. I do remember seeing
UL00_V100R001CHNC00B200 or similar when i was able to access the phone. But it also had custom at the bottom so i wasn't sure if it was a custom rom.

I downloaded dc unlocker, but it doesn't support the boot loader id for PE-UL00 honor 6x. Im still waiting on huawei for the bootloader code. I think k have to log in for 14 days consecutively? I keep getting that message when I try to unlock.
Also the firmware I tried to update it was PE-UL00C00361 OTA-MF from firmware finder.
I downloaded dc phoenix unlocker. Found the correct stock firmware to the best of my knowledge and the phone back to normal. After I was able to update to marshmallow through system updates.

i destroyed my mate 9 mha l29 C185 by HOWTA REBRAND method... when restart say: rescue mod attention please update system again...
then sended the phone to phone engineering shope
the phone successfully start by unknown way for me ...
but he installed NRD90M KEYS TEST build nu. android version 7
and some of functions doesn't work
like file manager and theme and Bluetooth...

i am sure your phone is still alive, because when you use HWOTA method to flash rom, you need flash twice , first time is rebranding, 2nd time you need choose updating .
Hi guys, i decided to write here because im a little bit desperate now...
Yesterday i updated my mate 9 who was in MHA-L09C432B198 firmware (not oreo) via firmware finder. I've checked the oreo update MHA-L09C185B360(8.0.0.360) and was approved for install ans also with my IMEI. All seemed good but when the phone updated and restarted, it remained stuck on eRecovery.
After following some tutorials there on the forum to use the FF to install again a new approved firmware ive decided to go by the cash path and i tried Funky Huawei. It never worked neither .
When I've tried to install a new firmware the phone said that couldn't so i wasted 5 credits downloading and failing every time.
Please guys, did someone passed through this situation and solved it? My phone bootloader is locked and never installed a twrp...

You bought a chinese model of Honor 8 (AL10). But, did it came with a AL10 firmware or, in most cases of imported models, a rebranded one. (L14 or L19 maybe).
Rebranded chinese models (AL00 and AL10) are known to bootloop with recent firmwares. The last working firmware, for my own rebranded AL00 phone, is B380.

I bought my Honor View 10 weeks ago equipped with BKL-L09 8.0.0130(C432).
I unlocked bootloader and FRP and tried to flash a new firmware. Finally it seems that I messed totally up: I flashed all partitions and a the end I did a rebranding with the effect that my phone is locked again.
There is actually no firmware running on my phone and very bad that when trying to flash with eRecovery I always get the message "Getting package info failed". I try to flash via FunkyHuawei with the firmware BKL-L09 8.0.0130(C432) (like the original one). FunkyHuawei explains that corrupted or damaged OEMInfo might be the reason for that. If so is there a way to repair OEMInfo? Since my phone is locked and there is no running firmware I guess I can not unlock it again. Right? So as much as I understand is eRecovery the only "interface" to my phone.
Can anybody help me how to flash a firmware so that at the end my phone will work again.
