Ho everyone! I own a stylo 3 Plus on metro and is 100% unlocked. On the stock ROM the new Verizon sim card is detected and gets bars but only for emergency calls only. On lineage it works great with no changes. Put the sim in on lineage and it just works. I've tried changing apn's on the stock ROM with no avial. I don't get an option to change or add apns with the Verizon sim card in. With the original metro I can add or edit apn's. On lineage I can change apn's even on the Verizon sim? Weird. I've tried adding the APN to the apns-conf.XML file still to no avial. And it must work because on lineage data on the Verizon sim works. So
It MUST be something about the lineageos ROM that allows it to work. Does anybody have any ideas ?

i went back to 4.0.4 then used odin and upgraded back to 4.1.2 reset wiped phone rebooted completly stock all root and custom recovery gone. used verizon software and went from mb1 to NE1 updated software now its at stock 4.4.2
i can insert a old rogers canada sim it sees network right away and shows up in APN
insert a new activated telus sim and it does not show anything except for the sim from unknown provider or non verizon sim crap but i know how to remove the system app for that notice does not change a thing.
i have used" phone info" and tried the different bands global, lte/cdma, gsm i have tried in service modes and dial pad codes (have not done *228 on 4g lte phones so its not a fried sim card) best i get with telus sim in and set in gsm mode is the can rogers network show up. nothing in the other modes.
i have manual tried the APN setting in phone and apn manager no change
i show a imei number however it is different from the original on the back sticker but the phone has no issues with the rogers sim card and the current phones imei so it changed at some point prob from a previous custom ROM but it is working to see a network just not activated on rogers
so now i have a unlocked bootloader, stock 4.4.2 clean phone 100% stock Verizon software i have read everything i can seem to dig up and still will not work
I have a sprint s5 rooted and flashed to 5.0 MOAR rom.
Im trying to use my straight talk service from my note 2.
Installed the SIM and it says "invalid SIM card"
Copied my APN settings over but the APN file disappears every time I save it.
Any ideas?

note 2s were mostly factory unlocked. what carrier are you trying to use with straight talk? (AT&T, T-Mob or VZW? i excluded sprint because if it was sprint via straight talk, it would have worked without issue)
This is happening to a s5 that I recently bought. Has there been a fix for such?
reflash the rom in TWRP. do it as a dirty flash. I had the same issue with MOAR a few times, a dirty flash fixed it
Hi guys so the problem that I'm having is that when my Sprint sim card is inserted and I reboot my phone I don't any kind of service. The signal bar keeps flashing as of it was trying to connect but can't, without the sim I only have 3g service and to be frank idk how I even do that because before it wouldn't get any signal without the sim. The problem started after I installed Cosmic os klte build when I was suppose to install on kltespr build. I have installed resurrection remix and lineage kltespr build and all do the same thing only 3g without sim and no signal with sim! If anyone can help I'll appreciate it!

I'm guessing you've already tried using Odin and flashing the stock tar file? Because when all else fails try that first...

when you installed the ROM for the other phone, you likely also installed its radios which are interfering with the SIM. Odin flash the OK4 tarball on it, and youll likely be just fine
also, youre getting 3g because its all cdma, the sim will only give you LTE with sprint. They use your IMEI to identify it on the 3g network
also, did you get this fixed?
I just got this n920p Sprint phone and I'm trying to use it on Telus. I managed to get everything working correctly on the Stock ROM, but can't seem to get it working with TELETEAM 5.2+. MMS doesn't work , and I can't get on LTE.
Plus, the play store gets stuck during download and installs
Do a fresh install...also, Don't use any ROM's included APNs. Edit the APN file yourself with your carrier's latest APN. I'm running Teleteam's ROMs without any problem at all on my carrier.
Did you do the GMS rom or CDMA rom? I'm trying to get ATT to work with the n920p
Go to settings / about / status / sim card status / sim card status and check of you are running LTA.
If not go to general management / reset / reset network settings. This fixed my problem.

I am running the Android 11 Pixel Experience ROM and Google Fi SIM worked fine, but I cannot get the Visible SIM to even be recognized as existing in the tray. I tried both SIM slots. Does this have something to do with being rooted? Ironically I installed this SIM in my Poco F3 which is NOT compatible, and although I got no service, that phone did recognize the SIM and even all of the Verizon APNs. Just wondering if you guys have any thoughts? Thanks.

It shouldnt have anything to do with being rooted, but if you have converted/changed firmware then that could be the issue.
If you have the engineering mode app installed u can check the sim in *#808# or by adb shell am start com.oneplus.factorymode/.manualtest.SimCardTest . If the test fails then the modem or your efs is messed up.Hopfully you have a efs back up. Try starting over with MSM flash first.I believe the fail sim is caused buy a key that is in the locked sfs folder of the efs. I do know for a fact there is a RSUprivate key there also. And have obtained it. But still have not found a way to write this back, other then efs restore in twrp.
I'm guessing it is related to the ROM.

I'm on visible and I'm using an unlocked T-Mobile gm1915. When on the global rom, it gave me a pop up to instructions for using the verizon sim on a cdma-less device. However, I didn't have to do anything and the sim started randomly working after waiting 5-10 minutes. So, i recommend just leaving the sim in for atleast 10 min and have mobile data on.
