Hi all, ive been meaning to try other stock firmwares but the only firmware that my phone recognizes is the MG9 version from TTT. Ive tried my previous firmwares and the newest ones from India and Thailand but its not working because my imei gets messed up. My phone originally came from South Africa.
Has someone experienced the same thing before? Were you able to fix it? Pls help. Thanks!

Simply flash the mg9 modem through odin or cwm after you flash a different firmware. You can find both .tar(odin) or .zip(cwm) files in the development section. It will fix the imei.
Cheers!!

Wow great ill do that later. Although I havent needed to do that before until I flashed this TTT firmware.
Gs3 has the same problem after flashing latest firmware, it changes efs consistency. Not a big problem if you stay on the latest modem.

I took it to Best Buy and got with a Samsung rep who knew what she was doing and she flashed the ROM from a laptop. It worked, updated and then I took it back home and rooted.

Flashing G20I firmware on G920K

I have a Korean GS6 which has issues with running USSD codes. I thought of flashing a different official firmware to get rid of this problem. Is it safe? Or will it brick my device? Thanks in advance.

I am not sure, I was on the latest MM update from Verizon.
My phone got wet a few months back and my NFC has not been able to turn on since. Also, I was also having issues adding fingerprints though I could use fingerprints that were in there before. I thought maybe doing an ODIN flash may help atleast verify it isnt software related.

Trying smart switch as I hear it can load the stock firmware. The serial # (aka: IMEI #) I put in says the number is incorrect. Do I remove some of the first digits? It starts with 99000...

That's the exact same file as mine. There's nothing wrong with the one I uploaded. If you bootloop, it's unrelated. Try data wipe

When you posted the Mega link, I thought that you were saying that that was also an OK7 file, same as mine.

Sigh. No, there's nothing wrong with the file.
You always bootloop when downgrading a major version. Have to factory reset in recovery and then you'll be fine.

Region lock phone - Israel

Hi just bought the G930F in the US, tried to open it when I got to Israel and got this message "Enter network unlock code" - after checking a little bit I have been told I need to get a Region sim first to open the phone.
I don't have a way to get a sim! what can I do?
I have been told there are websites to get an unlock code but i don't know what is the network the phone is locked on and on some of the articals it says it wouldn't even help.
Can so,someone please help me? what can I do???
