Completely bricked - no recovery & fastboot (Updated the thread about my experience)
I tried to re lock the boot-loader with 'fastboot relock' which made the deice completely bricked.
That was a foolish thing to do but now I can't access either stock recovery or fastboot. I just get the USB connected sound when I plugin the USB but stuck on boot logo. I ran out of ideas, any suggestions ???
In short, I can't access recovery/fastboot either with hardware keys or commands. Totally screwed it in a hurry.
I don't have a backup phone right now to take/make calls. Any urgent help is appreciated.
UPDATE
I tried all sorts of things but there isn't any free tool which can do things when FRP is locked and phone is bricked for Huawei.
I'm here to say about the ****ty service of Huawei/Honor and the way I bought back the device to life.
I submitted this out of warranty device to official service center 1 month back and kept calling them every 2 days to check if they were able to flash the firmware but they continuously failed. Guess what ? Thy didn't even know how to boot the device into fastboot with test point and had no idea about ADB drivers. I had to revisit them after 2 weeks to teach them about test-point boot which they confirmed after calling them repeatedly. After booting into fastboot, for unlocking the FRP of the device I own and have the bill on my own name- They demanded my complete identity proofs for submitting it to the company to get the unlock code. They didn't even accept the photocopy of the blurred out personal details on Identity proof and shouted back at me to send the copy which contains every single detail of mine including address, personal identification number which is linked to my bank accounts etc. I sent them the photocopy of the proof with no real use. They ask me to come down again to check if I could help them in flashing firmware using their basic tools. Finally, they returned the device and they claimed it as a motherboard fault. FFS this was the first company I ever encountered which couldn't recover their own device and pushes service guys to claim it as a motherboard issue(Yes! Terms of the company says so which is accepted by the service guy).
I bought the device back home and used DC Pheonix! Paid 19 Euros for DC Pheonix & HCU timed license and flashed the firmware within 5 minutes. BOOM! Everything back to normal. This was the device which was declared as a motherboard issue by the company which sold it and got repaired by an unofficial software within 5 minutes.
Gave this device to my mom for temporary use and bought the POCO few weeks back. Neither going back to Huawei/Honor nor allowing my acquittances to purchase such useless devices from a company who can't recover their own phones and locks down boot-loaders forever to steal customers data.

Out of warranty sadly.
Nothing is accessible in the phone except the boot logo, force restart. Forcing it into recovery & fastboot just presents the same logo screen again. I'm currently waiting for the battery to drain off and present a different screen as few users suggested in search results.

I managed to cold boot into fastboot when phone is out of battery. Sadly, Bootloader is relocked and FRP is locked due to the foolish command I gave. Can't find a way to boot into e recovery to try this method mentioned here https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/funky-huawei-erecovery-solution-100-t3620165/page6

I'm considering that as an option if the service centre charges me way more than 19 Euros(Cost of DC Phoenix & HCU client). I will be handing them the device this weekend. .

1. you need to unlock the bootloader again
2. Flash recovery twrp
3. And then I recommend flashing the custom firmware (resurection) in it to unlock the FRP, and then sew anything else.

We can only unlock the bootloader if FRP is unlocked which is not the case here. Anyways, I gave the device to the service center and don't care about it anymore. Most probably those guys blatantly state it as a motherboard issue and I have to eventually unlock it with DC pheonix in the end and donate the device to anyone.

Mi Mix 3 bootloop, please Help.

Solved!
Firstly, I apologize for basic English, but it is not my first language.
I am desperate and urgently needing help.
I made the mistake of flash the Global rom 10.1.1 in a Chinese ver. and locking the bootloader through MI flash tools.
The result was a Bootloop to recovery.
Already tried:
Re-unlock the bootloader
- I get the message "Wait 30 days to unlock another device".
Install through recovery using Mi Pc suite 3.0 beta.
-With stable version 10.2.2 I receive the message "error install the latest version"
- With version Dev 9.1.14 "error to install the dev version download on the official website"
Finally in EDL mode with Miflash tools ver. 2018
- I get the message that I am not have permissions to flash any of the Roms above.
Can someone please help me, through some unknown process or through authentication my ID 1683581889.
Many thanks in advance.
Short tutorial
1- Start your device in EDL mode "test point" by : https://en.miui.com/thread-5293017-1-1.html .
2- Download TeamViewer 14.x.x, MIFlash tools 2018 and last version of the fastboot Rom "Dev or Stable".
3- get in touch with this guy " https://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=5189577 " .
the man is a legend in 3min your device will be restored.
All credits are to NikSalsa, gonyla and nickgrserifos89.

If you flashed the Global rom on the Chinese model phone and locked the bootloader you'll have yourself a nice paper weight
I hope not,
When I did the flash, had the pc connected to a smarttv, due to high resolution the option "clean all and lock" was hidden. which led to screw up.
You need to reflash the stock Chinese firmware with Xiaomi's firmware flashing tool. If you unlocked your device through the official app, it will be able to re-unlock the bootloader to flash it.
It was my first choice. Tried with:
Miflash 3.0/3.x, Miflash pro 3.x, XiaoMiflash, XiaomoABD and always end up with same results " error install the latest version". Maybe i losing something.
With official unlock tool i get message "Wait 30 days to unlock another device".
Maybe because i unlink my account before,
the idea was return to full stock to resell the device.

But when I try to flash a Rom I'm getting the message, that my ID does not have permissions to flash.

Unlinking your account removes your ability to re-unlock your bootloader necause that devices bootloader unlock was tied to your account.

And now because you can't boot phone to connect account to phone it's a paper weight. Not sure what else you can do.
You could try using the standard fastboot from google and running through the scripts provided by Xiaomi to try to flash, even though the BL is locked. You might be able to fix it that way. What I would do is connect the phone, hold down VOL Down + Power til you get Fastboot mode, and then try running through the fastboot lines one at a time in the Xiaomi script.
As others have mentioned, you have created a brick. Whatever you choose to do at this point is up to you, and you certainly could make your situation worse. If you live in a country that Xiaomi supports, you could get the device to a service center and they can almost certainly fix it. I am looking into Qualcomm EDL stuff on this device, and am hopeful that I can find a way to change the hardware origin flags at a hardware level. Nothing concrete yet though.
Edit: for clarity: I'm saying flash a CN STABLE version from fastboot, over the global version.

Sorry, but it's not my point of view, please understand.
So far U-Unlocker was unknown company I'm afraid to spend another 25 $ for nothing.
So far I'm losing $ 500 "device cost" I do not want to waste more money on a device that is device that is destined for resale.

That doesn't make much sense.
If you do nothing you lose $500, phone in current state has no resale value.
If you spend $25 you could potentially get your phone back to a working state with a few hundred value

Finally install TWRP without unlocking Bootloader with Code

Hello Guys,
long i searched for a method of unlocking the bootloader of eml-l29 Huawei P20. No i didnt find any, and qu1ckr00t didnt prove to be useful either.
it is not relevant anymore. since i did use testpoint too often in research of what is possible and what not, the device died just a few minutes ago. it always enters now only the usb huawei com mode. probably i used to much pressure on the testpoints or what or i accidentally short circuited other points with the screwdrivers.. but as a matter of fact, it is hardware bricked and the board is done for i think. so i dont search for a solution anymore.
people, see this thread as a resource what is possible without unlocking the bootloader and what not. i figured out following things are fact without unlocking the bootloader, so that you all doesn't have to try instead of me:
- you can flash with the testpoint short circuited and the software dc-phoenix and the right chipset/cpu bootloader chosen in temporary bootloader the twrp to erecovery_ramdisk and recovery_ramdisk, it will be permanently available after the process
- you cannot install magisk on it, since xloader seems to block the bootup and always sends you to recovery-mode (which means twrp if you flashed this)
- you cannot install a custom rom like OpenKirin with the testpoint recovery mode, as it - like with magisk, always will send you to recovery mode - i tried it exactly how it is explained on openkirin.net and it always turned out the same
- there is no bootloader unlock code in the nvme partition, i checked it - it seems there is encryption going on there
- the exploit qu1ckr00t is not usable, since the kernel is compiled with spinlock_debug
- and i forgot first: if you have the idea of soldering a cable for testpoint short circuit - no, letit be. you will only hang forever in huawei usb com 1.0 mode - it wont boot normally as long as you're in tp mode
so basically, there is way to get root, it is a way to get to direct data from the partitions. but at the end, the question that arises is - how much profit are you gaining from root or custom roms on this device at the end? in my case, the many tries costed my time, my nerves and now the device itself. it is gone for good. maybe this is for the best, as i never treated it right since i bought it (it had to be repaired two times in 2 years, which is a lot for a normal device at this amount of time) and i only have bad memories in my life with it (lots of things happened, but this is not the right place for such tellings).
my final message for this part of this board (not the board i damaged thou) - leave it alone, don't waste your time anymore on this. move on, there are cheap devices that are better, faster and unlockable too at this day and time. i moved on to my new Nokia 7.2, which is awesome.
so stay healthy guyz.
my journey of exploring the depths of huaweis device huawei p20 eml-l29 ends here. its sad, but at the same time i'm happy that the "horror" of an unlockable bootloader is finally over.
Thanks for your effort and sharing the info. Good luck with new phone
Note: my next phone won't be Huawei, for sure, due to bootloader locking, I am fed up with them
Yes,
I even have no sorry with them if they go down because of the Google lockout. Their strategy is to pull people away from Google PlayStore? Yes, sure. Good luck.
Unlock bootloader and promise to keep it open for P10 upwards and we are happy. Otherwise... byebye and fcku.

Question Flash stock firmware and lock bootloader

HHello, I wanted to consult something before getting into a problem. I have the moto g100 with the challenge channel, since the Android 12 ota did not come out for this channel, I decided to install the Android 12 retail ota, Everything worked correctly, but now I want to install my original firmware which is RETAR and block the bootloader, so my question is the following, can I flash my original firmware and lock the bootloader?.
Yes if you flash ORGINAL ROM (Android Version) for your device you can LOCK bootloader for your device.
Lock the bootloader at your own risk, this forum has a thread full of people who have bricked their device after relocking.
Phone wouldn't boot into the system after bootloader locking back...
I wanted to help someone whose phone wouldn't boot into the system after bootloader locking back, phone hangs on a red warning. And in the process of experimenting myself got confused and got into the same situation. Unlocking the bootloader...
forum.xda-developers.com
The stock roms found on lolinet won't boot after relocking and you'll loose the ability to flash anything else. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Also, you can't downgrade the bootloader. What this means is that if you flash older Android 11 stock image it may result in bootloop.
I have a G8 doha that was hard bricked a few years ago.. It did not show up in device manger at all, no matter how i tried. Not even the Qualcomm mode. This did happen after locking bootloader or change slot A/B. (Don't remember, sorry). The phone was totally dead, so it was just "archieved for later use".. Then one month ago i found a description on how to wake it up to qualcomm mode by shorting two points on pcb. I tried, and it did work. Phone showed up in device manager, and i flashed blankflash. After that i flashed stock rom. Phone is now working again. I had to do several tries to get it up running. The description on how to do it was not accurate, but i found a sequence to start it. Unfortunately i don't remember exactly. It is something with pushing/holding a button when connecting USB or shorting points on pcb.. Youtube link show how to do it..

Yes I relock my bootloader on the Moto g100 the North American version. Right after I did it I tried to set up my phone and it wanted my last four digit Google pin code and if you didn't do it fast enough it kept rebooting so for a half hour I tried everything under the sun Google kept asking me I want to try another way. But I have two step verification on my Google account so it couldn't send me the code over my telephone number so after a couple tries using the recover my account option underneath which asked you like personal information like your name and everything it finally gave me three options of three different Google emails I have. I got my unlock code and unlock the bootloader without using a PC or a computer. I used bugjaeger. The premium app is well worth the $10 it works super easy and super efficient

The premium app is well worth the $10 it works super easy

[Help] Bricked phone stuck in bootloop

I have an old Asus Zenfone 4 that randomly got stuck in a boot loop while it was recharging, and now I don't know how to fix it, or even if it is possible to fix. The only thing that still works is fastboot mode (recovery mode doesn't work either, so SD cards are out of question).
I have tried a number of things to factory reset the phone and see if it changes anything, but it seems impossible to unlock its partitions for flashing: commands such as fastboot flashing unlock, fastboot oem asus-go or anything similar just throw errors saying that the command doesn't exist, or if it does, that I don't have permission to run them. For this same reason, I couldn't use things such as TWRP as I can't flash any of the partitions on my phone. Additionally, I have tried to enable adb through fastboot oem, but even though the command is successful, whenever I get the system info, it says that adb debugging is still off.
Does anyone know a way to either unlock this device or factory reset it without unlocking?
Another old-ish device killed by the silent OTA update of the OEM!
The deadly mistake of connecting an old-ish device to OEM servers for fresh install.
Check with unauthorized service centers who have <Miracle Box> if they can flash with fastboot. Or authorized service centers might charge but they could revive the device.

By what you are saying... Is it actually impossible for me to unlock the bootloader? I have no problem with service centers, but it would be much better and quicker if there was was a way for me to unlock it.

I threw away two old chaina phones just because I made the mistake of reflashing the original OS and tried to update from OEM servers..BOOM! Dead Phone!
The moment OEM servers detect an old device connected to their servers for an update, they kill the device so that new devices can be sold in the market, why would this happen to a device which was working perfectly under a Custom ROM before? I dont update the device from OEM channelsbecause OEM might try to kill the device after warranty period, instead I update through the Custom ROM channel.
Maybe some chip got fried while charging the device, among the asian brands shamshung & WonPlus have durable components but other asian brands maximum 4 years before the components like display etc. or even the chipset components begin to fail. Or it could be the OEM update thing too

Question OnePlus unlock token page blank

Greetings, so I recently upgraded my phone to oxygenos12 and it came with a lot of glitches and I hate it. Try to flash back oxygen11 and realised the bootloader is locked. So I tried downloading back the unlock token for the phone from my email and the oneplus token page keeps coming up blank with no token download. I saw you have to be logged in to download it and I did the same and I get the same blank page. what's really going on here? I really need oxygen11 back since this 12 here isn't supporting my two sim cards and my cellular data isn't working!!!!
OnePlus page must be down. I’ve been trying to get on there for the last 12 hours.
I have been trying this too,, it's coming blank.. like what's happening here I just get my new phone which is t mobile varient
Website is still down for me. I contacted OnePlus and they went on the routine of trying to make me fill out for another unlocking token and telling me it’s 7 days blah blah blah. They weren’t getting the fact that their website is broken. Finally after 30 different screen shots and copied links they finally understood. Hopefully the IT team can get the page back up asap
Still blank for me. Just my luck... I've been putting off rooting my oneplus 6t for so many years and finally decided to do it...

Hi you shouldn't need a token to unlock bootloader for OnePlus devices.
You should also have OEM unlock enabled in developer options.
Fastboot OEM unlock

this is inncorrect for the TMOBILE variant. FOR TMOBILE ONLY.... the oem unlock option is only so you can retrieve the unlock code. once you receive the token you will be able to flash it and fully unlock the phone.

I still haven't been able to get on the site. It's still broken here for me. I talked to chat support multiple times and it takes some convincing that the site is actually broken. Then I send them links and screenshots and they say they will send it over to IT.. but is been almost a week and nothing has been fixed... I asked them it they could send me my unlock token file in a email and no response lol
This is my first experience with one plus and it's not so good the phone is good but the tech support sucks nobody seems to know anything about why the page is broken or when it will be fixed or for that matter any way to deal with this token crap.
Looks like OnePlus doesn’t give a ****.this is ridiculous
I just got done with chat support was able to drag some info out apparently the support department has only received a communication from the team handling the token page issue with please give more time. I have a feeling that they have no idea what's going on and have a complete communication breakdown so who knows how long this is gonna take. I only received the generic answer of please give another 24hrs for a response "I won't hold my breath" in the meantime dose anyone know a bypass for getting around this token nonsense?

Wrong!!! The T-Mobile variant requires a unlock token. Only the factory unlocked version does not.

There is no way. I've been looking everywhere and there is nothing that says how to bypass it. If this doesn't get fixed tomorrow, I'm sending phone back and not getting a t-mobile variant ever.

Technically it is the T-Mobile software that's triggering that. If you convert it to global or EU, you don't need it, but you get stuck having to have root to get data working (software thinks the phone is dual SIM and it breaks it). Also, if your device is SIM locked, it's stuck that way unless you flash back to T-Mobile firmware to unlock it.

Well what your saying is not possible because in order to flash firmware, you need to have the bootloader unlocked so NO!!!

Nope, just an MSM Tool that can flash a T-Mobile variant. I don't know if one exists for the 9 but there is one for the 9 Pro that you can use to get to EU software and then use the global 9 downgrade package to get back to proper 9 firmware.
Convert your T-Mobile (LE2127) to EU via MSM, No unlock.bin needed!
*** Use this at your very own risk. *** You will lose all data *** Backup your working modemst1/2 and persist. If you lose these for any reason, it's unique to your device and not recoverable if you didn't back up (via MSM or other people). ***...
