I'm not talking about beta versions or hydrogenos, but about stable nougat, released two days ago. Anyway, I'm on hydrogenos, and I'm happy with it. It's pretty nice, smooth and battery friendly.

I wish you could make it work
Just installing, will upload a screenshot when it's installed.
NOTE: I was running the Beta software and have received the full version through an OTA notification. THIS IS NOT AN EE BRANDED ROM AFAIK
Screenshot of current build number added
code DPLT
Available for ALL Beta Users...
Did install in a few minutes, running fine...
Will have to wait for an EE branded ROM for VOLTE I believe.
Mine also came down an hour ago...went to post here and tether turned off for the update (obviously!) and in that time you beat me to it
Also g935fxxu1dplt on an unbranded S7 edge (was beta testing too). It's Android 7.0 as opposed to all the rumours of it being higher
Yarp, not EE branded.
Sadly it's also not got OnCircle in it
Changes:
OS Upgrade - Android 7.0 Nougat
Provides new UX and various performance modes
Improved usability of the notification feature and quick settings button
Improved settings menu and AOD feature, addition of the samsung pass feature
Efficient space for installation of downloaded apps, imrproved speed of system upgrade and app installation
*If you are using Gear IconX, please make sure to update to the latest version before downloaded to the Nougat OS

As most of us have not been able to partake in the Oreo Beta program it would be nice if we could get some feedback from those lucky users that were able to get into the beta program.
Have you been able to unlock and root the Beta firmware?
What problems have you had?
Which new features do you like?

Unlock yes, root no.
Going system root might work. Systemless will be tricky as the boot partition is split into a ramdisk partition and a kernel partition. And some files that used to be in ramdisk could be in /system now, I haven't investigated much (this is the case with OPO3 Oreo).
But I like Oreo so I hope Magisk will work with it in the future.

Thanks for the feedback.
Well I only need root to get rid of garbage app Huawei and other vendors install. In any case I can't imagine that SuperSu and Magisk won't figure it out.

I downloaded the Huawei Beta App here:
http://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/fut/
Have applied, according to the app I am 4/500. The App looks very professional and well-designed. Looking forward to trying out Orea early, bravo Huawei. I'm not a rooter etc, will be using as a regular heavy user.
I rebranded to L29C636 from L09C34 a few weeks ago and just applied for the Australian Mate 9 Oreo update. Was 5/500, get in quick people
I am on Oreo since a week approx. and I am experiencing a limited responsiveness of the touch screen, especially on the bottom part esp. when navigation bar is hidden....anybody else making this experience?
Currently downloading B321a for C432. Going to check if I can get magisk working and if it's like OPO3 Oreo where stuff was moved from ramdisk to /vendor...

Yes I can unlock the phone with the Beta android O. I flash the twrp from:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4...Eh2aDFLM3JlYkU
Then I flash the supersu from :
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962021903579485056
I now have root on my android o. It is emui 8 not emui 6.
Make sure you flash twrp correctly by check out this page : https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/development/preliminary-twrp-3-1-1-0-mate-9-emui-8-t3687622

I have no problem with android o so far. However I have not used all features available with android o. I do not really care for the new features of android o or emui 8 (picture in picture, hide navigation bar, floating dock,...). In fact I like the settings of the emui 5 better.

Yes, for whatever reason there is no 'a' mentioned under build number. The a is in the internal Huawei build number so FunkyHuawei shows it like that.
Under further review, the phones do report the 321a to FunkyHuawei's server as the installed version regardless, so if you finished the install it is 321a. Nothing to worry about.

Android O for C636 exists, but it's an older version from September, branded as EMUI 6, before they decided to make it EMUI 8. Probably newer beta one coming soon. There are new ones for C900 (hw/normal) branding, Latin America branding, Russia branding... I just haven't released them.

I didn't install it yet, just downloaded update.zip and those. Mainly to check vendor image without installing it...
Edit: oh, duraaraa already answered
I got all the three Oreo files too via the HiSiute method, since even with a correct DNS setting, wherever I could stick it I got "Package information download failed". Installed via the HWOTA successfully though. The Oreo test build is quite buggy when it comes to Wireless tethering and LTE speeds. Feels much slower then my N European 194 build so far. Shows "Phone Overheating" a lot too, something I never saw on my N build either. Have yet to see how long the battery will last. See few differences in the camera, maybe added zoom in raw mode. Still no Monochrome Raw, or 1080p Timelapses.
Hello,
i switched back to the xiaomi.eu rom from Android P and now my camera doesn't work anymore.
I also wiped and formated my hole device and installed the offical global rom again but still the same problem:
The Camera always shows the same error. I really don't know what to do anymore.
Alternative Camera apps like Open Camera don't work too.
Were you using MIUI 10 based on Pie?
If so, that's the problem. I avoided this problem flashing (via miflash) MIUI 9.5.19 and than installing TWRP and Xiaomi.eu 8.8.3.

i did. I flashed the official global rom with mi flash but the camera still doesn't work.
The last time it worked was while using the Mokee 8.1 Rom (linked here in xda).
I'm really afraid now that it's a hardware error. That would be fatal.

I've tried
Official V9.6.4.0 Global rom - Camera doesn't work
Xiaomi.eu 8.8.3 MIUI 10 Rom - Camera doesn't work
Then back to Android P Beta - Camera doesn't work
AND now back to Mokee 201808161126-NIGHTLY and the camera does work with the stock Snapdragon Camera
So at least it's not a hardware defect.
But why doesn't it work in all other roms.
i will try the 9.5.19 stable...
Edit: Has worked, thank you again!

Please do that! I would have never come up with that solution by myself, also that it only works if you go back to that specific version.
I asked myself why that's the case.
If you read Closed beta informations, mods told us to NOT back from MIUI Android P based to Oreo ROM because it WILL cause camera FC.
Thanks for give us the solution.
So, after flashing 9.5.19, could I flash latest Miui10 OPEN beta and camera will still work?
9.5.19 by miflash
Miui10 by twrp
Right?

I was on 8.8.7 (really sucks). Finnaly went back with any problem:
Flashed 9.5.19 (global stable) through miflash. Bootup and check if camera is working.
Reboot to fastboot and flash miui10 8.8.4 through miflash too (mods says on miui10 update threads than if you come from v9 STABLE you have to flash miui10 beta through miflash. So did it.
After miflash ends and auto reboot device, I just pres vol-&pwr to reboot to fastboot and JUST BOOT (not flash) TWRP v8.
With twrp running, connect to pc and copy to device a previous twrp backup of v10 8.8.2.
Restore it and reboot.... Voliá! I didt remember my phone was so fast! LOL

FWIW my new OP6 came with 5.1.10, which does not appear to exist (I'm new in all things OnePlus and XDA..), apparently the version jumped form 5.1.9 to 5.1.11, which is the latest (note that the OP mentions 5.1.8 and not 5.1.18
I still don't dare update to OxygenOS 9.0.2, so I've made my life cozy with 5.1.10, TWRP and Magisk.
Cheers.
