Samsung Gear Sport - Demo Mode disable - Samsung Gear Sport

Hi
I buyed an Samsung Gear Sport with retail mode, but I want remove that. I investigated on internet but just I founded for Gear S3 and I have a model: sm-600x. How can I flash it?
Thanks.

You have Live Demo Unit...
With Not For Sale on the Back Cover... Rear Case...
But you can flash normal Firmware from SM-R600...
For instance:
Code:
AP_R600XXU1AQI8_usr.tar
BL_R600XXU1AQI8_usr.tar
CSC_OXA_R600OXA1AQI8_usr.tar
Best Regards

hi all
if i flash live demo unit with a normal firmware - will it be possible to use SPay?
i mean - there are no differences there(in hardware), right? only locked retail mode, which can be switched off by flashing?

hi where can i get these files from?
and what program do i need to upload the firmware?

[Q] s6 G920x or G920i?

Hello
I bought an s6 on ebay a few days ago (live demo unit) & under system settings it says model number is SM-G920X "no official/custom firmwares/roms for this model so far" but when i went into recovery menu (vol up+home+power) it said it was a LRX22G.G920IDVU1AOC6 model. The G920i got my attention though since demo units don't normally have any letters other than an x "I might be wrong here though" it also has a sim slot that does open and i can see a circut board in there.
Is this a real demo unit or retail unit with the demo firmware running on it? and if the later which firmware should i use?
Thanks for any help

Just go to Sammobile and find the SM-G920i firmware for your country. Its just a standard SM-G920i with demo software. Download the one thats for your country and flash via Odin 10

HELP

does anyone has the at&t FW ? installed diffrent one and seems didnt work and got stuck !!
Can you try to be more precise?
If ATT means you have SM-R765A...
WHAT exact you have tried?
File from where...what?
Filename etc...
I thought I have told you it is dangerous... risk to brick your Gear Wearable...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74039105&postcount=59
If you play tooooooo much with WRONG files... you will end here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s3/help/sm-r765f-teardown-t3659431
1.
Please identify your EXACT model name...
Not smell it...
Read it from Gear...
Way A.
On the Rear Case/Back Cover
Way B.
Enter Download Mode and look with open eyes...
You see Model name from Bootloader...
2.
If you have really ATT SM-R765A...
Then we have tiny little problem...
As NO Firmware available which fit Rollback Prevention balbla crap...
Code:
R765AUCU2BQD4
I have only Bootloader and cm from this version... nothing more...
Sorry...
Best Regards
Edit 1.
Here is example how to read from Download Mode your Model name...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73644320&postcount=16
Look at left Picture...
Code:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-R7[COLOR="Red"][B]???[/B][/COLOR]
So meanwhile we have 3 SM-R765? users with similar problem.
NO Firmware for repair available...
SM-R765 (S) for Korean SKC Sales Code:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s3/help/please-help-bricked-gear-s3-sm-r765s-t3665558
SM-R765F for Singapore XSP Sales Code:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s3/help/please-rom-765f-t3651165
And now as it seems... SM-R765A user with ATT Sales Code... if I am not wrong...
I have tried many things WITHOUT luck... 1 example... request on paid site:
http://forums.easy-firmware.com/sho...r-SM-R765F-and-SM-R765(S)&p=169979#post169979
Only hope is Tizen 3 incoming Firmware...
No idea when, no idea if for all devices leaked...
Maybe only in 2018 available... maybe NEVER...
Best Regards
Well I returned it to AT&T and getting a new one !! never going to flash anything again at least on the GS3

S7 Live Demo Stock Marshmellow SM-G930X needed

I've been looking around everywhere and can't find the Stock Live Demo Rom/Firmware for SM-G930X.
I have a second Live Demo unit
Android : 6.0.1
Kernel : 3.18.14-9066105
Build : MMB29k_G930XXXU1BPH3_LLK
Is there a way I can backup this unit to flash it to the other with ODIN
You want the actual demo firmware?
Why not flash / unlock it to full G930F firmware?
You'd probably have to flash TWRP to the other one then create a full nandroid backup with TWRP, same on the one you're looking for the firmware for, but restore it rather than back it up
Actual demo firmware is not required to unbrick g930x you will also use g930f whole firmware except modem files only
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am not looking to unbrick a unit
The setup I need requires 2 demo units I only have 1
So i'd like to flash a spare retail unit to demo firmware

Problems with my Gear S2

Hi. I recently purchased a second hand Gear S2. I managed to connect it to a Huawei P10, but after turning off the bluetooth by mistake and re-enabling it, the watch asks to do a Factory Reset in order to connect with a device that was already connected with it before . After that, I managed to connect it with my older Glaxy A3 2017 and tried to update the software, but surprise, a pop-up shows saying "Your Gear has been modified. Software Update is not avaible.". Ideas how to fix that? Or this issue is because my Gear S2 (purchased second hand) is a Live Demo Unit?

Look at Rear Case/Back Cover...
In theory you will find... NOT FOR SALE...
Anyway... if you know which exact model name...
SM-R720X
or
SM-R732X
or
You can flash Retail Firmware... via netOdin...
Better you choose correct Firmware, according to Model Name...
Only as info.
Best Regards

Yeah, it says Not For Sale. Model number is SM-R720X. Can you please give me a link for firmware download?
Check first Firmware on Device... with this Code:
Code:
*#1234#
Problem with LDU... Live Demo Unit
Since EPK5 it looks like Firmware detect LDU... and disable WiFi for use with netOdin...
And for valid FOTA use... you need "valid" Sales Code/CSC + Firmware Combination... otherwise you can again not update via Samsung FOTA...
Best Regards

When entering the code *#1234#, the watch shows AP : R720XXU2AOIL and CSC : R720OXX2AOIL .
Also seem like the computer can find the AP connection from the watch and also it can connect, and netOdin does detect the watch too.
Try FIRST with older BOKK Firmware:
https://www.file-upload.net/download-12731427/smR720_BOKK_OXA.zip.html
Be carefully to download the 600 MB package... NOT any .EXE file.
I hope you will find netOdin + Instruction... otherwise ask...
Best Regards

OK, after that, what do I need to do next?
If you successfully flashed BOKK Firmware...
You can check if valid Sales Code/SCS is set... and you have your languages...
Because you have now OXX region Firmware... and I have only OXA BOKK...
If BOKK is on device... check via Phone if you get FOTA Update...
If not... then post result...
So we could try something... to make it "compatible"...
Best Regards

I successfully installed BOKK firmware and I have my language, which is in my case romanian, but in the Samsung Gear App, I still get the same error: Your Gear has been modified. Software updates are not available.

Do you know SDB Tool?
You are able to work with it?
We could try to identify, why Gear Manager App detect some Modification...
Maybe they increased Security to identify SM-R720X...

No, I never heard of it so I don't know how it works.
As I can do the Samsung Gear in my rom custom .... to install it but try to run it tells me that the phone has been modified.
Have anyone reached out and found a solution then? 👨🏻‍🦯👨🏻‍

GEAR S3 Classic stuck on Startup screen

hi guys,
my watch is stuck on "Samsung Gear S3 Classic" startup screen after trying to change the CSC code via reflashing by this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s3/how-to/succesfully-changed-csc-to-xar-to-t3718236
I have tried recovery mode and it still comes back to this screen.
I have tried reflashing it with NetOdin but the wireless downloading screen is stuck and never actually gets past the initial Wireless download screen with the pinwheel thing.
Whatever i do, it is stuck at the gear s3 classic screen and will not go past it.
is there any way to reset/reflash the gear without using the wireless download mode??
please help
Sorry...
Seems you are here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s3/help/wireless-mode-enter-gear-s3-sm-r760-t3710855
To change settings in netOdin is WRONG suggestion... but now is too late...
For reanimation you need USB cable...
Best Regards
