sim not found after root - Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) Questions & Answers

Hi guys!
I tried to root my samsung galaxy a8 2018 (sm-a530f) using super user flashable zip, after this process my phone can't find sim card. I don't know how to solve this problem. Fortunately I had a backup, after flashing it everything is back to normal and my phone could still read sim card.
I also tried to root my phone with magisk but i did not succeed.
Help me please.
Sorry bad english

Read the root thread and you will figure it out

Flash Mesa's custom kernel and magisk after that and then it will work
The kernel bypasses samsung's root prevention strategy.
Btw this is the wrong forum to post this thread in, it's ok, moderators will fix it

How do I root galaxy 3 i5801 with froyo on it?

Hello,
I need help on rooting froyo that I flashed few days ago on my i5801.
The one click root places update.zip on memory card, phone restarts, then when I tell it to update in recovery mode, it says can't mount dev/blk/mmcblk0.
Memory card is working fine, also tried formatting it with phone utility.
Please ... Help.

How to ROOT iberry Auxus Beast?

I have successfully rooted my Auxus Beast using the recovery.img from the post above. It is meant for the Mlais M52 but it works perfectly on the Auxus.
Important (not mentioned in the post advice):
1. Remove or disable any king root su on the phone, you'll have it for sure if you ever tried to root with iroot.
2. Once you've rebooted into system after flashing the update supersu.zip (i used Beta2.49), use any root explorer and rename the recovery_from_boot.p file found in /System to recovery_from_boot.bak. this way, you won't lose the modified recovery on the next boot. .
I've tried almost all the available methods to root the beast and this is the only one that works at present.
Good luck, lemme know how it goes

Root is possible only factory firmware, if update is done rooting not possible. After rooting 1st update is possible but su will not work, 2nd update not possible. I did not face any problem for non updating. You need to flash factory firmware first (google the firmware) if not found
i will upload, then flash recovery, from needrom site m52 latest rom,
in factory firmware replace the recovery in place of original one... reboot....flash the su manually from update firmware, you are done.
For un-rooting re-flash the factory image with original firmware, update and you are again in warranty.
No problem till date

I did not encounter any problem, my main reason for rooting because of Auxus' stupid idea for partition 2.94 gb. Won't even install two hi end game. Hope some developer soon do something to root even after update.

No work like charm, only move data / obb file,
Use Link2sd to move the data to SD without SD Partition or
Use root explorer to manually link the the data to SD partition or phones internal memory

The phone is capable of processing High end HD games.. No need of additional tweaks for that. I have played Games like Dead Trigger 2 , Contract Killer, Kritika etc without any issue.. Only problem I have faced is the partitioning of internal memory.. I had many arguments with iBerry CustomerCare on that topic.. But they never seem to understand the problem.. :/

[Completed] I delete My os using twrp. How do I reinstall it

Hi
I deleted my OS on my phone using twrp. I am now trying to reinstall the OS I deleted. The model of phone is a Samsung 5 SM-g900w8. The carrier is Telus Mobility in Canada. The steps I have taken so far is copy a ROM on to a SD card and insert it into the phone that is not working. When I do this TWRP does not show anything on the micro SD card. The second method I had tried is using fast-boot. I tried push the ROM on to my android device. Both methods I tried failed because I am probably not doing the steps properly. I am not even sure if the ROM I am using is proper. I have been searching the internet and don't even know what I am looking for. I found one site and download the ROM hoping it was correct. Where can I find correct Stock Rom for my phone? Maybe I could not push using fast-boot because I do not have the correct file? Why is the SD card showing (0)MB
Thank You for your help. Its will be greatly appreciated

Umidigi one plus - fingerprint. Please help!!! Please help!!! Please help!!!

I tried to install custom rom an root my new UMIDIGI ONE PRO Android 8.1 Oreo. I couldn't root the phone because it was impossible to mount data partition. No tutorial could help me. However I installed the rom, (I got from the official website of UMIDIGI), the phone is still not rooted, and the worse about all ist, THE FINGERPRINT FUNCTION IS MISSING FROM SETTINGS. And there is no installed "com.fingerprintauthentificationservice installed in the apps. I guess the installed rom doesn't include the fingerprint. Unfortunately, I apparently lost my backups trying to fix the problem with twrp. Could anyone help please. Is there any custom rom for UMIGIDI ONE PLUS sopporting the fingerprint or does anyone know how to fix the problem? I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance
I think that the only solution as of right now is to flash the stock rom.
And if you still need help will root and TWRP give me a heads up, maybe I'll make a post about the whole process.
It's quite tedious but it can be done, and it works great.
Thanks but I tried three difeerent stock rom versions without satisfaction. People said it just gone because I've formatted the whole flash memory (Formatt all + download).
