Have unlocked boot and installed TRWP and all was running good. Tried to flash viper 4 and dolby atmos and now stuck in a loop.
its a very short loop I get the unlocked boot warning screen and then the white HTC page and thats it. Can turn it off but can't then boot to bootloader using volume down button. Also getting no charge light when plugged into charger.
2 questions: any other way to get it into recovery?
and 2 would you turn it off or let it go flat before contacting HTC support and returning it?
problem solved it sudenly stopped bootlooping and stuck on the white HTC screen from there pressed the poer button until screen off and i got the vibrate then hit the vol down button and went it went straight to recovery.

i was downloading a ROM and a screen opened up asking me to reboot and to wipe and clear cache. i only hit the reboot button. so screen rebooted into liberty logo and just started to loop with the little bump vibration. so i started to read some of the forums for possibly bricked droid x and i came across something. it said to hold the power button and press the up button three times and then i held it. my boot animation came up for awhile and then the screen went back to black. all the time i'm doing this it's hooked up to my computer. Can anyone give me some help on getting my phone back to the way it was? Since i did these steps earlier my droid x keeps booting up and going through these steps: goes into boot animation and then to the liberty logo and then to black screen. i read that i can do a factory reset so i pressed the power, camera and volume button at the same time and what i think came up is the fast boot but it said : boot loader 30.04 battery to low but get this i had the phone charging all night so can anyone help with this complex problem. I have been preaching for a thousand yours now, DO NOT FLASH A RADIO ON A WHIM! No one listens! The only thing you can do is let it run flat. Pull it, and fully charge it before powering back up.
i rooted my razr but when rebooting it gets stuck on the main screen until the batery dies

After flashing the 4.4.3 GPE rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2716306
The Rom was working, I got to my homescreen but decided to do a reboot to freshen it up.
After the reboot my phone became stuck on the Google Play boot screen.
I've tried everything like holding power and volume down, nothing happens.
I have a Verizon HTC One M8
S off
Bootloader
I am pretty new to Root and Flashing and am quite worried about my phone
Any help would be much appreciated.
Is it always stuck on the boot screen?

Hey All
Need some help. I accidentally messed up my volume buttons on an HTC M8 and had to use adb to boot into recovery. After booting into recovery, I completely wiped my phone (customer ROM) using team win v2.7.0.0 with the intention of installing an official ROM. (Totally forgot I would need the Volume buttons).
Restarted my phone which seems to be stuck on the white HTC logo boot screen (understandable as I have no ROM on it now).
However, How do I get to turn it off firstly. I have held the Power button for over 2 minutes which seems not to solve the problem. Secondly is there a way I can boot into recovery without Volume buttons when the phone goes off eventually.
adb needs to detect the kernel for it to send instructions from what it seems as it keeps giving the response my device is offline on the white screen.
Is there a way of using adb to boot the device into recovery when the phone is off. Any help or suggestions you may have would be gladly appreciated.
