Gear S3 - Demo Mode disable

Hello there her,
once short Informations about my Person. I´m from Germany and i´m 31 years old. I work at my self in my own Shop for Network-Providers in Germany. I sell Phone´s, Tablets and Notebooks, also contracts and things for mobile Phones
I got an Gear S3 that i have enable the Demo-Mode, but i dont can disable this again
Just i must complete flash or can it be disable over the menu?

Hallo there,
i´ve an other question. Can it be able, that an Gear S3 Frontier there is in SOftware the Retail-Mode from Samsung, it is not possible to connect with bluetooth to an Samsung Device? I´ve try to connect after deaktivated the retail-mode to Galaxy S6, but the Gear Manager don´t connect to the Gear S3.
I hope anyone can help me again.

You need to reset the Watch over to start the pairing process...

Ok ive try youre option, but it is Not posible. I cant sync my Contacts, messages oder anything. Gear was found from the Manager but sync is Not posible.
I try to softreset my Phone, why over Bluetooth Connection, my Phone makes also from time to time trouble with my Car. Its possible that the Phone had Problem with Bluetooth :-/
But is it also, as Option for me, possible to flash the gear like an Smartphone. For example with odin or other. That the Gear get an new Free Firmware?

I have done it. Just flash it with a generic firmware.

Hi I hope it's ok to post and ask if there is a generic firmware for the classic version. I followed your link but it says it's for the frontier version. Curious. I've read through the internet but all I've found is the combination firmware and an old version. I do have a second classic that works perfectly and was wondering if I would be able to extract the firmware and install it on the one that has this demo mode. (Husband and I wanted one each but the store (Fry's) had one new and one floor demo left and we bought them both) I went back to get it fixed but they said their tech guy no longer worked there and to come back at another time. It was super cheap and don't want to return it. Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Success! R770X changed to R770 with BQC5 firmware!
I can confirm that BQC5 firmware works on my R770X! I now have a fully functioning Gear S3 Classic and it now states R770 with no X at the end. After all the files loaded on NetOdin the watch restarted with French being the only language. Luckily I do Read\Hear\Write it so I went through the process of connecting the gear through the Gear Manager on my S7 Edge and it connected perfectly and then it changed the language to English!
Upon my web search I noticed that the stores where using S7 Edge's to install the Retail Mode app on the watches so I figured that they were retail watches and that meant it was installing\changing the firmware with an X at the end only to differentiate and grab the correct OTA updates. It made sense because when I temporarily disabled Retail Mode within the app itself all the antennas worked (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Location and NFC) so I knew I had a chance that a stock firmware might work.
I hope this helps out anyone else in my situation. I followed the post with the BQC5 and used those files to accomplish this.
Thank you adfree for all your great help. And also xedamen for your tutorial post. Without both your help & guidance I would have stared at a very expensive watch show me the wrong time.

So I have just went through all of these steps and others I have found on various threads....
Back story**I just bought a used Gear S3 classic...and in live demo mode
I pressed power/home button to the reboot screen......I tap 3 times....I go down to download wireless option.... I tap the power button again to change Modes.. Watch goes into AP mode....I pull up my laptops wireless internet options, I see the Watch on the list, I connect.
...The watch now shows me the IP address and MAC address. Then "Refused connection (111)"
I turned off my windows firewall....I manually closed the other anti virus software I have. I opened task manager to ensure no other software was running.
I am plugged in (ethernet) to the hotel internet i am staying in for a few days on my trip...could this be the problem? Any other ideas?

Gear S3 Update Fail

Hi, I just bought the Gear S3 recent and I get this screen when I try to update the firmware from my OnePlus 3.
Here's some detail:
Model number: SM-R760
And yes, the gear manager app is up-to-date.
I'm trying to get from version R760XXU1APK6 to the latest version.

Haha, sorry for the confusion. I brought the watch with Odin problem to Samsung and they gave me a new one and it experienced the update problem which was, since then, fixed by itself. So, no problem now really..

STEPS THROUGH NETODIN:-
1.Download netOdin through google or previous xda posts,
2.now,download all three types of files from download section.
3.goto gear s3 press and hold on menu button till it shows rebooting.
4.at that same time press 3 times on menu button.then it will show options.
5.goto download(wireless).and hold the menu button.
6.change the wireless connection to ap through double tap on menu button.
7.open netOdin and put all three files.
8.goto your pc wifi section connect with R760.
9.then it will appear on netodin as connected and start.
10.note that gear charge should be more than 50%.
**i am not responsible for any brick but i have successfully flashed it.**

Do you know what happend to the dismiss notifications? On previous firmware when i got notification i could swipe up to dismiss it. Now i have to scroll to the bottom and press the dismiss button.

2 guys on different thread do not have this issue. Must be some kind setting we are not having enabled or disabled then. Very annoying. I am using iphone also but i know it worked 2 days ago fine.

I dont understand the point of this? Isnt this just stock..:?

Its stock firmware only.dont worry mate.that problems mentioned above is came with tizen 3.0.0.1 update.

What is the version?
Is it version 2.0? or 2.3.2.4?
If version 2.0 exists, i'm looking for it.
I am also looking for the last version of the 2.0 version.

SM-R600 aka Gear Sport is Tizen 3 device...
You can only choose between Tizen 3.0.0.0 and Tizen 3.0.0.1...
