Hello. Ive read how to root and install magisk on it but I get an error everytime I flash it.
Bootloader is unlocked and twrp is installed but when I try installing magisk with twrp I get an error ERROR 1
Am I missing something?

Hi i got a Problem with TWRP. I just installed 2.5.0.0 now I know its not updated. I get a error message everytime want to install the new CM: error executing updater binary in zip twrp.
Now I cant install any rom and i wiped my device already any ideas?

you are going to need to flash the asus stock rom over top , Root it then flash the TWRP from the OP:

Hello, my P20 does not want to be rooted. after updating to 9.1.0.325, I can't seem to install Magisk. I tried patching the ramdisk file then fastboot flashing it and I even tried flashing TWRP and sideloading the Magisk zip file. It always get stuck to your device is booting now. Any help?

I was fully rooted with twrp/Magisk/renovate ice from but ran into trouble when updating Magisk and got a boot loop last week........... So I am currently on 10.3.2 with 3.3.1.79 twrp installed and working, unlocked bootloader of course but when I try to flash Magisk in twrp to gain root I get this error I've never encountered before. Any suggestions??
Hello everyone, today i was updating the phone as i always do, installing magisk in the idle slot, after installing the update, and then restarting the phone.
Unfortunately this time for an oversight I restarted the phone without installing magisk in the inactive slot and I lost root permissions.
Because i don't have the trwp recovery how can I get the permissions back? Can I flash the boot image directly from the magisk app?
Now my OOS is 10.3.12 and i can't find an image boot for this version.
I hope someone can help me thank you.
You have to patch via magisk the boot.img file of the 10.3.12 rom then flash it via adb flash boot_patched.img
Anyone have anything? Cant get magisk to install, too many _a, _b partitions idk what to patch?
To install Magisk a Custom recovery isn't needed at all.
