Hi i got a Problem with TWRP. I just installed 2.5.0.0 now I know its not updated. I get a error message everytime want to install the new CM: error executing updater binary in zip twrp.
Now I cant install any rom and i wiped my device already any ideas?
start from the beginning
you are going to need to flash the asus stock rom over top , Root it then flash the TWRP from the OP:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2691886
and then flash CM 11.

Hello,i accidentally deleted my operating system,i tried everything to flash a new one ,every custom roms out there.
The TWRP version is 2.5.0.0
Everytime i execute the ZIP files from TWRP errors appear :
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/BackToBasicsV2.zip'
Error executing updater binary in zip : 'sdcard/BackToBasics'
Could you provide me a working tutorial?I tried every tutorial from here and nothing worked,i don't know what to do anymore.
I had a similar problem in which I accidentally pressed factory reset in bootloader instead of recovery (WHY ARE THEY SO CLOSE?!). Anyway, I ended up having to factory reset from recovery and wipe everything on my phone, then I adb pushed a rom to my phone and it finally let me flash it. Although I recommend waiting until someone else posts something as this is more of a "last resort" lol

Connect your phone to your PC find it in devices and format it... Download twrp 2.3.3 recovery image and install it with fast boot.. Then paste a ROM to your SD card and flash away NP...don't forget the boot.IMG when flashing your new ROM it will have to be flashed with fast boot also..

Still not working, anyone please, any other ideas?
Hello everyone on XDA,
Ive try rooting my HTCONE on Sprint. S-OFF ,did flash ClockworkMod latest .img than i flash SuperSU.130. i was already on 4.3 android .. everything went well but when i open my SuperSU an error pop up "there is no binaries installed, su cannot installed it, there is problem to it". i did some further research, it seeem i flash an outdated SuperSU. aftewards i downloaded the latest SuperSU 1.65. Try to flash it in recovery, for some reason it aborted the command. than ive try a earlier release supersu1.43 . Same problem it will abort the command. than i switch to TWRP latest image . try doing the same and it still fails. ive also try -viperboys- method it did the same thing it aborted the command of flashing any type of zip files.
im stuck can proceed further . what can i do so i could get fully rooted.
My system is now KK 4.4.2 with unlocked bootloader
I download CM12 (nightly) from download.cyanogenmod.com - XT925 KK bootloader
I intended to install CM12.zip via Phil Touch recovery but it failed and this message appeared:
This package is for device: xt925, vanquish_u; this device is .
E: Error in /storage/sdcard1/....CM12.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
Then I used TWRP recovery instead of CWM.
The installation was successful, but in a short time (faster than installing gapps)
I made the phone rebooted.
When the system was on, it showed an error dialogue and self-rebooted to boot animation graphics immediately. Then, it became an endless loop
I had to reflash stock KK system via RSD
What happenned to my XT925????
Try flashing CM11, factory reset, then CM12 nightly dirty flash. That way I got it to work. You need to remove the first line "assert..." in a file inside the zip to make it work with philz. Normal install or update of CM12 nightly works only with current cyanogen recovery for me.
The problem is the gapps file
I've only installed the CM rom via TWRP and the system is now running without gapps
Yes you need gapps for 5.1, best from the CM wiki
Hi, I've a problem with the latest TWRP recovery (2.8.7.0). When I try to install the cm12.1 (10/09 nightly) in recovery, it give me the error "E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/........zip' ". Can't install this package on top of incompatible data.
I'm able to install cm only after formatting data or with the Cyanogen recovery.
Any solutions?
Thanks!
P.S.: my bootloader is updated to 41.18
Hi,
Upgrading your bootloader to 41 1A is the solution... Anyway, which one have you? 1032/33/39...?
i currently have twrp 3.1.1.0 multirom and wish to remove this and install the latest 3.4.0.0 as i am unable to install any roms.
Not sure if bug in the custom twrp but i cannot use it and have already tried wiping and cant get latest lineageos to install.rp
keep getting error 6 error 7. so i think twrp needs updating
I tried putting the .img file onto phone storage and off usb and install via "install image"
however i get
"select partition to flash image:"
Boot
it doesn’t list recovery for some reason so now im stuck with this
I have no images working i have tried getting old os to install but they are unable to work now and have already wiped the phone to make sure its clean install but i keep getting error.

There's no need to put the img file into the internal storage of the phone. Just flash it with fastboot:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Or, if you are rooted, use the official TWRP app, it should be even easier.
