I am using redmi note 3 snapdragon with miui 9.5 (android 6.0).
When I use LG HBS 730 Bluetooth headset, normal audio is louder enough. But, when I pickup the call, volume is too low. In other Bluetooth devices, it is proper. But, my friend says on same Bluetooth device, he is getting loud voice for calls. What could be the reason? How can I confirm whether it is device issue or phone software settings?

Hello
I’m trying to resolve an issue i have with my Sony MW1 Bluetooth headset when doing Skype or Hangouts calls
For some reason when using a Bluetooth headset (Used a Sony MW1 Smart Wireless Headset Pro, set and a Fiat Blue&Me Car Bluetooth) the sound keeps breaking off both for me and the person I’m calling. I get long brake after witch the sound returns for a while.
I tried LTE/HSPA and WiFi calls all with the same result
When using a wired headset there is no issue like this. nor do I have the issue when i do regular phone calls using the sets
Furthermore sometimes the Bluetooth sound doesn’t turn on at all, so I get no sound neither on the loudspeaker nor on the Bluetooth set although the BT volume is set to max
Any idea how to resolve this?
I connected a speaker to bluetooth but it only use it for media. I want to use it also in a call, is there a different settings for that?
Thanks
I think that if your speaker has no microphone it won't be use during calls.
I have a good BT headset, am using Android with stock Android 7.0. Audio plays fine through the BT headset but for some reason the mic function is not properly recognized. I tested with Easy Voice Recorder. When I switch to record to with BT in that app, it says it can't recognize BT device. But it is clearly recording through BT (I left the phone in one room, and went to another room and whispered into my BT and it recorded it fine).
Any ideas what's going on here? I can live with this functionality in this app, but I use another app called TextNow (for VOIP calling) and it also doesn't recognize the BT and there's no workaround there.
Phone: Moto G5
Stock OS: Android 7.0
BT headset: LG HBS-A100 Active Plus
I've noticed this behavior on other phones as well. Could it be something to do with the headset? I don't really know where to start with troubleshooting.
I have Pixel 5.
I Just found out I have a very common and serious bug that Google doesn't acknowledge:
Bluetooth headset disconnecting and reconnecting constantly during calls. - Google Pixel Community
It happens only during bidirectional audio throughput (Microphone + Earphones) and not when I only hear music.
Tolerable solution would be to do phone call in monodirectional mode - e.g. using pixel's microphone, and headsets earpieces for sound.
is there a way to do that?
Hello,
I ordered redmagic 7 pro supernova edition (v. 4.12 eu) but I have a problem with the bluetooth.
I use hearing aids (Starkey Evolv AI 2400 ite) and i have connected them correctly to my smartphone by bluetooth, the multimedia contents work correctly but there are problems during phone calls.
When they call me, the smartphone responds in bluetooth mode, I hear them but they don't hear me. During the phone call, if I switch from bluetooth to speaker, I hear them and they hear me, if I switch again from speaker to bluetooth this time I hear them and they hear me. Can it be fixed somehow without having to switch every time? it is important for me to use hearing aids during phone calls. Other bluetootht devices works correctly.
Thanks
