Hi All,
With 4.4.4 I used to have no problems at all on my OPO getting music controls onto the lock screen.
However I am still on 4.4.4 (haven't made the jump yet) and recently my music controls have stopped appearing on lockscreen.
I'm sure it is something i have done but not sure what,
Google Play Music is my default music app
Lock Screen security is set to PIN/Quick Unlock
Custom Widgets on
Camera widget on
Maximise Widgets on
cLock with Clock/Alarm and Calendar (no weather)
Have i in advertidly stopped it or something? (although music still plays and bluetooth speaker can still control music)
Any pointers of how to get this working again would be awesome

hi, today i noticed that when i pull down the notification par the quick connect and s finder disappears...and when i play music through the stock music app....and i pull the notification par down the notification for the music player is not fully shown...some of it is hidden under the notification par....and on the lock screen the widget for the music player is covering part of the clock...and when you try to press on anything on the widget it doesnt respond...its not freeze..its just like you didnt really press it....i restarted the phone and everything now is back to normal....but its a weird thing....
Within the past week the watch stopped displaying audio controls when I start playing media on my phone. I was always able to pause, skip, rewind with apps like Stitcher, Google Play Music, YouTube, Netflix and now those controls dont show up. I am still receiving notifications from seemingly all other apps. I uninstalled WearOS from my phone, factory reset the watch, confirmed these apps in question have notifications enabled in WearOS but still dont have those controls on the watch. Anyone else with this problem? Thanks for any thoughts.
Not quite the same but notifications for One Football stopped appearing on my HW2 even though they are not blocked.

Update: Google Podcast and Google play music now are showing the audio controls but Netflix, Youtube and Stitcher are still not working

same here. I use DoubleTwist... I'm afraid I may have to back to Google Play Music....
I uninstalled the Huawei Watch app and only use the Watch OS app from Google and all my audio controls are now working and controlled from my watch. Could be a conicedence but i had no media controls before uninstalling and my watch face constantly reverted to the stock watch face every 12 hours all seems to be have been resolved with this action.
1.7 Update fixed it I think

So after i received the WearOS 1.7 update my controls came back, im thinking that fixed it for me. Thanks for the info!
Is there a way to keep a face widget expanded after turning off the screen and then keeping it expanded once the screen is turned off/on instead of clicking on the widget again?
I like the music player once it's expanded and want to keep it that way while I have music playing. This way the player buttons come down more on the screen and more accessible + show the artwork.

On the plus side, Spotify now works with this music player.
Hey everyone,
My music controls for some media playing apps are not working in lock screen. For example they don't work with YouTube vanced and Pandora. They work with Spotify and Samsung music player though. Anybody knows how can I fix this? It's annoying to unlock the screen to change songs.
