Yes but the Stylo has less ram, less memory, slightly worse cameras, and a stylus, lower ppi.

The stylo 4 cannot be rooted.
The Q7+ has HiFi Quad DAC Audio.

[GENERAL HELP] Post Your Questions Here Instead of Making a New Thread

Many people are joining xda on daily basis. Some of them join the forum to get custom ROMs while some join in order to get some of their problem that they are facing with their phones solved.
There are dedicated threads for ROMs but what about HELP/QUESTIONS??
People generally straight away start a new thread to get their doubts solved. But this can lead to chaos in the forum.
I'm creating this thread as an alternative to *New Threads* that aim to resolve a question.
Not only this, this thread can also become a Database kind of place where people can look if their question is already solved or not...
I request all members of the LG GFLEX 2 sub-forum to help and answer some questions posted here if they can.
I hope you guys get the idea behind this thread...
Hey, thank you for creating this thread, I've just wanted to create my own thread, but your ideea is just great!
When the G Flex 2, was announced I was really, really happy and wanted to go for it, but as I search, it's getting more, and more disspointing...
I am a Xperia Z2 owner, and I'm looking forward changing my phone, and for comparation I've searched for LG G3 oppinions against Z2, and some people say G3 is rubbish (especially battery life and camera), some say it's great and it has anything that Z2 doesn't... I really like the G Flex but there are a few things that bother me...
Can someone please answer me the following questions?
- Some say SnapDragon 810 is slower than SnapDragon 805 (2Ghz vs 2.7Ghz), and instead to go for Note 4, because it kills the Flex 2. Is that true? SD810 is slower than SD805?
- Will the G Flex 2 have 3GB ram? Again some say it will have only 2GB of ram because LG is keeping 3GB of ram for the LG G4. Is the G Flex 2 featuring the new LPDDR4?
- How is the camera on the G Flex 2/G3? I am a Xperia Z2 owner, but most of the times I'm looking for much more, this one dissapoints me (especially at sharpness, quallity and focus). How is the G3 camera compared to the Z2 camera? (THE CAMERA IS REALLY IMPORTANT FOR ME!)
- How are the speakers on the Flex 2/G3? Xperia Z2 speakers really suck, the quallity is OK, but they're not enough loud.
- How should the battery on the Flex 2 be? I must say that as an Z2 user, the battery is really incredible! Should I expect less from the Flex 2?
I would really appreciate if someone would answer my questions.
Thank you and have a great day!
Will the G Flex 2 have wireless charging?
and @khrystyan27 16GB version will have 2GB ram and 32GB version will have 3GB ram like G3
Any ideas if / when verizon will have it?

It's great at least that there will be a 3GB/32GB version. Is the ram LPDDR4?

Whoever says Note 4 will be better than G Flex 2 performance wise either works for Samsung or is very deluded.
The 32GB version will have 3GB of LPDDR4. G4 will most likely have 4GB, but those just started being manufactured, hence it's too early.
G3 is one of the better camera, though LG is beating a dead horse and somehow making it run a little further every time. G4 should finally put an end to the misery of the IMX135, I hope.
Assuming it's same speaker, is going to be very loud at least, but thin bass.
LG says the battery should be as good or better than G Flex, and if is just near the original G Flex it is going to be a beast!
So, do you say that G3 camera is better than Z2 camera? Photos with the Z2 at night are very blurry.

I have made this just to avoid unnecessary threads it will be living once u have g3 users joining here
I am curious about the camera, particularly the limitations on length of recording. I see it will record in WQHD but will there be a 5 minute time limit on those files? Being 64 bit, as well as the 810 under the hood I would expect them to remove these limitations but I am not sure. Any ideas?
@gpvlog, the limitations come from the device overheating, no the limited performance of the device... Even SnapDragon 800, can shot 4K flawlessly, but the device overheats because a lot of CPU/RAM is used. The NAND cells are used intensivly aswell...
this think is hottt very hot i cant handle on my hands... my mom take it to fry some eggs on it...it was water resistand?

The 3GB ram version is going to be a US carrier special. What carrier I dunno. Also if there week be an international version with 3GB ram is unknown.
LG debunks the myth, that there is a 3GB version... what are the chances that there will be a 3GB later?

Well, the information I had was from the Nordic Product Specialist, Mobile Communications. So there should be a special for some US carrier.
For global though, nothing at the start at least.
Well... My next phone IF IT WILL have 3GB ram. I'm not going back from 3GB LPDDR3 to 2GB LPDDR4. I don't care it's faster... Quantity is also important!

Lg f60 vs f70

Hey everyone I've got a question.
So there are 2 cheap budget phones, LG (D315) F70 and LG (D390) F60.
Which one is better? I've checked specs a lot of times and etc but I care mostly about how do they run.
How do they handle games, I checked videos of Antutu benchmark, F70 gets over 18K but there's something with F60, I saw benchmarks ranging form 16K to 22K.
My local e-shop sells LG D390 F60 and I'm not sure if it's even better than the F70.
There's like 3 versions of it or someting, there's I think D390N and D392.

G Flex 3 Announcment IFA September 2016 ?!

According to phonearena a unkown source has leaked that the G Flex 3 will be unveiled at IFA at Berlin in September, because i'm a new member i can't provide a link but i have attached a printscreen showing the article from phonearena. (Turns out i can't upload the printscreen because i'm a new member if you just search on google phonearena g flex 3 it will show up.
PhoneArena Posted This On: 24 May 2016 at 19:29
Rumored Specs:-
5.5 QHD
Snapdragon 820
4 RAM
16MP Rear Camera
8MP Front Facing
Possible Modular Design
No Word On Self Healing Back.
(More To Be Revealed Hopefully)
Personally i'm hoping if this is true then LG may actually remember about our G Flex 2's and maybe push forward to provide updates and hopefully consider unlocking the bootloader. Whats your opinions?:fingers-crossed:
All those specs are fine, apart from the qHD screen. We don't need them on phones yet. I had a G3 and the reason I went to the flex 2 was because I was sick of it getting hot from driving a qHD display. Batteries haven't gotten larger in capacity in flagship phones for a while now, so I don't see the benefit of it for the everyday user. However if they give us a bootloader unlock I'm sure many people will be happy with their current Flex2 and see no need to upgrade to what will be pretty much just a curved G5.
Not many people want to change from the Flex2 as it is.

Yeah the only reason this article excited me was because hopefully LG will pay more attention to the Flex 2 and push out more updates and have better support for the device, no one is going to want a Flex 3 if they see how much little development and lack of updates and attention the 2 got, espically being a flagship it was ridiculous how much LG forgot about our Flex 2's, regarding the overheating i dont belive any updates in the future will fix that as we all know we got the first version of the 810 which was flawed with overheating from the off. 4gb of ram and a 820 sounds perfect but that qhd is gonna eat the battery unless it has atleast a 4000mah battery also ive grown to like 5'2 inch screens, 5'5 is a bit of a damper aswell to me.

QHD is resolution so 4x HD, OLED is a type of display, i think i might wait to see reviews on the flex 3 if it comes out, but if they unlock the bootloader on the flex 2 i don't see a reason to upgrade apart from the 4gm of ram and 820 on the flex 3.

I agree bougth this phone full price even after a lot of mods still the same overheating problems, and locked bootloader.
im never buying an LG device anymore
Not having any overheating issues here. Cpu sits on 35 degrees with general use and under email benchmark load for half an hour doesn't go above 60. Big difference to my G3 that used to hit 80 degrees at some points.
I also don't see a need to go to the 820/4gb ram for the everyday user. I struggle to use 2gb of RAM on my flex 2 as it is, and have never had any performance problems with my 810. I'm rooted, on the 5.1.1 rooted AT&T KDZ, with a few hundred apps installed, and consider myself a power user. As far as I'm concerned, current phone is perfect.

My CPU normally levels out at about 43 degrees with moderate use but I would love a custom kernel to have a mess around with the reason the 820 and 4gb appeal to me is because multi tasking and gaming doesnt mix aswell on my flex 2 as it does with my z2, also it kinda future proofs the phone for me if the g flex 3 has unlocked bootloader and better support i wouldnt have a reason to replace it, whereas the flex 2 got slow updates a somewhat buggy UI and locked bootloader or i would be keeping my flex 2 as my daily driver

If there was a G Flex 3, what would you want it to have spec wise?

Personally for me, id honestly prefer the same specs of the g flex 2 with a less prone to overheating 820 and a unlocked bootloader, but thats because im simple and dont want much more from it.
You were bored and that's why you started this thread? ?????
In my opinion LG has abandoned this device and i see no future for another Flex (hope to be wrong, i love it), they should change several things like display quality, ROM capacity, battery life, etc.
5.5-5.7 screen, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, unlockable bootloader, snapdragon 820-821. And that's it for me
Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
I don't think that they will bring another flex phone. I think V-series(V10&V20) is now and flex is gone for good...
Agreed there will probably not be a G FLex 3 but most important "feature" would be unlocked bootloader. Really miss Nexus's ability to upgrade at will with adb and fastboot.
G Flex 2 is awesome (for $250 phone) but support sucks.
Better support and more updates.
I would want 6 inch screen with somewhat compact bezels, curve with big screen looks impressive. Other than that latest spec of course combined with unlocked bootloader! And bigger battery too! I feel like LG never made flex to its potential. Curved screen is way better than edge screen of Samsung, it's a shame that gimmick is selling and true useful innovation is lost!
