I have J710FN device
Up until now, I have tried lots of custom roms and custom kernel, with updated google play services and yet I had no problems. But today I was going to install crdroidv v4.5 after wiping data, cache, dalvik cache, system etc. and my phone got frp locked and had to install stock rom via odin
So when I checked online about frp locks, it said that they activated as soon as we login into google account, but it never happened before, but why now??
Also will I never be able to permanently remove it??

I believe that you need to remove any google accounts on your phone before flashing a new ROM. This should prevent the FRP lock when you add your account back. If not, you'll need to format the user data partition with TWRP after flashing the ROM, and flash SuperSU or Magisk after that. I've never had a problem doing it this way. Let me know if it works for you.

After I rooted my device (tripped KNOX btw) I downloaded the standard root apps and ended up messing with some setting that I didn't fully comprehend (I know, I'm dumb). I then tried to download an app from the Google Play Store and error code -501 popped up and interrupted the installation. I tried again a dozen or more times and it continued. I cleared all the cache from every google app that was installed, removed my google account, looked through all my files and downloads and found nothing suspicious, factory reset through settings, and finally hard reset through recovery-mode while clearing the cache partatin (spck) and wiping all stored data, and thus rebooted and still no answer. Please someone help!

Backup whatever you want to save from your storage, internal and external to pc for safekeeping and flash the stock TAR with Odin to return to true stock.
If you are currently on a firmware NEWER than OA6, you will be unable to flash a stock tar that is OA6 or older so it might be best to find the exact matching firmware build you're currently running.
Hello ppl..
Yesterday i decided to flash latest "back to n0t3" Note 5 port rom by @arter97.Installed latest modem and bootloader (oj5) installed latest Philz recovery wiped and formated everything, and i flashed the rom and layest arter kernel (7.2). Wiped cache / dalvik cache x3 and rebooted the device.Strangelly the device took only 15 sec to boot up to "Select language" menu.. So there i selected my native language, puted my wifi passwors, and here we go.
Normally the next step isbto sign in with your google account. For me it asks me to sign in with an account that allready synced with that device.offcourse it didnt accept my Google account and i couldnt move farward....I cant understand what is going wrong with my phone since i see i an the only one who deal with that problem.
I will provide you all the things i tryed allready but didnt work .
Reflahed the rom
Download the zip file again
Flashed again stock firmware and reroot my device from the beggining
Trying and flashed successfully with latest TWRP and Philz recoverys with no luck
The even stranger think is i decided to try Ditto's Note 5/S6edge+ port rom and i had the same results...It asked me again to sign in with an account that allready synced with that device...
What is going on guys anyone have any idea what is the problem in my phone?
My device is 920f
Sounds like Google Factory Reset Protection. Not sure how rooting and flashing will interact with the FRP. Did you have more than one Google account on the phone? If so, you might try another account.
FYI, from what I understand, if you change (reset) your Google password, it will not work on the phone for 72 hours.
I am stumped! Long story short i have a customers device( i work as an AUTH DEALER for MetroPCS) that had a nasty popup device. One of those imfamous FBI virus asking for money. Completely locked the device. Anyway the customer didnt know gmail and PW so he couldnt master reset. ( i know now he could). I decided to flash the STOCK ROM obtained through Samsung firmware website. I flashed via ODIN. It was a success, no failing at all. The device booted as new phone, apps got optimized and all. BUT the FBI virus was still on the device popping up locking you out, forcing you to remove battery. THIS IS AFTER flashing stock OS directly from the samsung website. So i then decide to master reset thinking the stock ROM would allow me to setup as normal. NOPE. After reset its still requiring the GMAIL and PW to setup the device. I dont understand because the OEM rom was flashed successfully. Yet the FRP lock is still enabled and the device locked out. How do i flash this rom so that it becomes STOCK with no FRP lock??? ANY tips welcome as ive posted in other forums and got no response....:silly::silly::silly:
You should try master reset (wipe partition and wipe cache), then flash a stock ROM via Odin. (Nevermind, I didn't fully read the part you already did that) But to me, this is just another proof that even flashing full ROM via Odin doesn't delete/replace everything. I couldn't get it solved too.

i actually resolved this issue. and yes flashing via ODIN doesnt reset it to default. I used sidesync, got a settings apk, used sidesync to force the device to open samsung apps(like the play store) i then got a file manager and added the apk to the phone storage via a computer.(this was all done while on the google login screen) i then opened the filemanager , installed the settings apk, it took me to phone settings(without having to get past the initial sign in screen) i then did a master reset via phone menu and BOOM, device is stock. Never will i put this much effort into a 50 dollar device again haha but thanks for the response

Wow! Very nice to hear, well done!
Ok so admittedly I made a noob mistake and inadvertently unchecked OEM unlock and rebooted. So I'm stuck on FRP lock. From what I see, my only option is to flash the original firmware on the phone.
My question is simple: I don't have TWRP and can't do a NAND backup. Will my internal SD card get wiped as well? If so, is there ANY way I can back it up before hand??
Thanks...
Ok so I managed to save my arse after all, but I figured I would leave a reply here for archival purposes.
I used Odin to flash the stock Bootloader and PDA. Not only it didn't touch my SD, but it really didn't wipe anything and I only lost my root.
Two things happened I didn't see documented anywhere I looked: I got a weird crash on boot update and ended up in Stock recovery after auto reboot and got a slew of error messages, but a simple phone reboot worked.
Then I was asked for a password to restart, which turned out to be "default_password"...
Hope this will help someone down the road!

Cleaned & wiped all stuff, flashed stock 6.0.1 with Odin AP,BL,CP,CSC and same FRP google login shows up. Mind sharing those two files?
For sure, I just used the latest firmware on Sammobile: this is the generic one for Canada, but I'm on Rogers so I used this one.
I only used the BL and PDA, but I also made sure I wasn't locked out on my Samsung Account. FRP can be because of the custom binaries, but it can also be a system lock out and I've read that in some cases it's because the phone has soft locked itself out. Not sure how accurate that is, but wouldn't hurt to check I guess...
now all ok or still facing same?
Hi... So.. Got a lil question... I have a samsung J2 prime which i forgot the samsung account password... Can't add another account... So.. Im still in the phone but can't format via settings... I know if I wipe data via recovery, I cant use my phone anymore because of the FRP.. But something hit me.. What if i root the phone and install a custom recovery while I still can access the phone.. And then install a custom rom clean flash(wipe everything dlvik, data, system, cache)... Will it remove the FRP?... And what if i change the IMEI through the custom rom then reflash the original firmware... Will the FRP be removed? Will the account be deleted? :silly: :silly: can anyone try before i use my own guts to do the following XD.
