Thanks for a new rom for the device. The rom download is in progress, but the gapps requires a password to decrypt.. Hopefully someone can help assist with the finger print scanner as im sure the rom would be perfect. I enjoy your other ports and thats the only thing lacking in them all. Cheers !:good:

np. sir You do great work, i barely seen your reply but found the gapps was gonna go and update here and the other site you post too as well as i wasn't sure when you would get back on. I work for a web hosting company using linux servers and what not. Not sure if it would work like this but since its a port, is it possible to use the "working directory" for the finger printer scanner from say maybe the elephone p7000 port rom for the ulefone to your rom's finger print "working directory" since it does indeed work on that rom as it has the same hardware as our device? I tried google searches to see where that information is placed in the rom system directory but could not find anything.

There are number of changes required . I can send you the changes if you like ...
boot .img .. decompile make the changes for Finger print sensors.
ETc, Lib , Bin , App these are the places where we need to make changes ... not getting enough time to do all these ..I will try once festive season is over in india

No, it will not work on Coolpad Note 5 Lite.
Coolpad Note 5 and Note 5 Lite are way way different, they are totally different phones!
I have TWRP for Note 5 Lite, but after flashing it the rom doesn't boot or something like that ( a previous tester told me this, i don't have CPN5L to test )

Do i have to wait for coolpad note 5 lite rooting guide and TWRP?

Actually this app is by Chinese Coolpad to help root Coolpad devices! With this only ya can root.
Also, don't try to permanently root the device else y'all stuck at logo.
Do temporary root, that means every boot root will be gone.

First thing it will work only on redmi 3s LAND
It won't work on other device ok.
Well if u really ask the real developer the MIUI which constructed whole ROM. Then the one u r referring need to ask for permission .. MIUI apps aren't open-source which is used in this ROM. But I don' wanna contradiction.
No one can stop using any ROM to anyone , me , you ,him or any other..
I got the ROM now even if it doesn't update it still better and i have other friend who can help me fork but i don't have resources so i just helping this way..

Hey, I am am planning to flash this tomorrow first thing. In the link provided in the OP, the 'system v2' folder says to download from the porter until you upload there. I have downloaded the files from @fxsheep from the original port thread. Can I just add the 'boot+modem+vendor' files provided by you to the original files by @fxsheep and restore through twrp?
I am new to this GSI thing so need to clear this out before I take any further steps.

I got the procedure from the original thread. What I wanted to confirm was that will the vendor be flashed if I mount it with system and flash along with it. And thanks for the efforts for our land.

This build was compiled from MicroMax A102 sources and is using the stock untouched pixi 3.4.67 kernel please note that there may be the possibility of bugs
Manually Patched with LineageOS root 14.1, root management is in developer options.
Comes Preloaded with Gapps.
NOT WORKING
Video recording does not work i will look into seeing if i can get it fixed
FLASHING
Ideally use TWRP to install as the rom is set to use meta-data for permissions CWM does not support Meta-data.
1. Copy rom to your sd card.
2. Boot to TWRP.
3. Factory data reset.
4. Install LineageOS.zip.
5. Wipe cache/dalvik
6. Reboot
7. First boot should take no longer than 10 minutes to boot to the LineageOS Setup wizard.

The fact that this ran on 3.4.67 is what drove me into believing that getting the LeapFrog Epic to run at least Lollipop is possible.

Sorry for late reply phones been busted so havent been able to login,
Right hmmm strange that is what country are you in and also network provider if you could provide that info just to rule out your network provider as i get 3g data reception in australia here but ill look intothe ril see if i cant tweak it and see about an update to fix the other stuff to probably next week sometime.

Stucked on TWRP. TWRP working. But can't successfully install any Custom ROM.

Before messaging you, I followed your advise in XDA Form Rules, I searched for my problem here, but I don't think someone asked my question yet.
My phone is a (Xiaomi) Redmi Note 9S.
I successfully installed TWRP-3.4.1b-0530. But unfortunately, the video on Youtube I was trying to imitate made me Wipe all my data without backup. (i.e. Advanced wipe and select Dalvik/ART Cache, Data and Cache. Also the video made me click Format Data too.)

I have been downloading many Custom Roms for my Redmi Note 9S/codename Cortuna (i.e. Evolution X, Corvus, Superior OS and Nusantara...) and tried flashing it to my phone. But all seem to fail.
Three constant text display on the log, that is:
Failed to Mount Vendor
Failed to Mount Product.
And sometimes, Failed to Mount System
The Custom ROM used in the youtube link, I flash it to the phone to remove the Red Texts on the log (i.e. Failed to Mount Vendor, Failed to Mount Vendor is removed on the log as soon as I flash this rom.)
But, the installation still fails. So its my restart process. I still cant install any rom.
I am not a phone developer, my understanding is very low. Also, it would be very helpful if I can just get back my Old OS, I honestly can't afford a new phone at this time. I will really appreciate a response. Thanks sir/ma'am!

TWRP's "Format data" will delete all partitions ( means system & vendor & product & data & cache/dalvic cache & internal storage). You managed that everything has gone.

Try flashing it with orangefox recovery instead

Thank you for the reply. I already tried using OrangeFox. Sadly, it makes the same result.
By the way, the Evolution X version 4.4 is successful (But Evo X is already version 5.5 as of the moment, so 4.4 is outdated).
Wifi and camera doesn't work. I work with patience with it for the meantime since I need a phone to respond to text and call.

Sir I am honestly stuck with the recovery: 'TWRP-3.4.1b-0507 for Redmi Note 9S -- by wzsx150'
I have downloaded all types of custom ROM there is, but it always fail. Except for the Custom Rom of Evolution X which is a very old version, 4.4 which has so many bugs.
As of this date, Evo X is 5.5 already.
My phone is already Format Data and Advanced wipe too.
This is my process of flashing. This time, I downloaded the zip file from the link you gave sir.
1. I download the Zip File
2. Copy it to my phone.
3. Install, swipe to confirm Flash.
But the phone says this in Red Text:
Updater process ended with ERROR: 1
Error installing zip file 'sdcard/Pixel Experience_miatoll-11.0-20210401-04943-UNOFFICIAL.zip'
Updating partition details...
Failed to mount '/system_root' (No such file or directory)
Failed to mount '/vendor' (No such file or directory)

I am seeking your advise sir as to how I can solve this. Same results as other ROMs too.

I tried following the steps here again with Orange Fox since its a different step from the other Orange Fox download link. It worked now!
WORKED!
I installed PIXEL Experience (LineAGE OS using Orange Fox.)
Can't be installed using TWRP.
Noticed the camera isn't as good as the stock camera app of Redmi Note 9S.
Any advice again? hehehe
