[RECOVERY][p839f30 / ZTE Blade S6] UNOFFICIAL TWRP [3.2.1-0]

Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or twrp for short, is a custom recovery built with ease of use and customization in mind. Its a fully touch driven user interface no more volume rocker or power buttons to mash. The GUI is also fully XML driven and completely theme-able. You can change just about every aspect of the look and feel.

Here I present you my unoffcial build of Dees_Troy recovery for the ZTE Blade S6 aka p839f30.
This should work with all variants (AS, EU, AU, ...).
Download - AS/EU variant with physical internal sdcard partition: twrp-3.2.3-0_isd.img
Download - AU variant with emulated internal sdcard (/data/media): twrp-3.2.3-0_dm.img
Install through an app like flashify, rashr or similar or use terminal dd command.

My question is:
I do have the EU variant with the partition hack which puts both partitions into One.
Am I able to use the TWRP for emulated sdcard although it is mentioned to be for AU only?

Sure,you should use the recovery for emulated sdcard to access this partition and files there.
The tags for AS,EU and AU are just for reference.
Do these lead to confusion?Then I will delete them.

I really think the tags are alright.
For someone who is new here it is really helpful to know which partition layout equals which Version in stock.
I just forgot that the hack simulates the AU layout, so it was a fault of mine ^^

I don't know,if it will work.But the risk of bricking is very small.If your device has, like most phones do and also the blade s6,different partitions for boot and recovery,you are able to roll back what you have done.
Prefearable make a backup oft your stock recovery.Use the dd command or an APP like flashify.
Like always be caution and no guarantee is given.

A minor change I noticed is the external sdcard is now named 'micro sdcard'. In official twrp it was 'microsd'

I am ready to test and report bug is Call and WIfi functioning properly, as it is my primary phone, Please can you make V242 rom without bloat ware Just without those coolpad app.
One last question is V242 Nougat is roootable? I am not able to root with the method given in XDA hence not able install TWRP.
I am getting error after this command : "adb shell mount -o remount,rw /system"
At last Thank You for keeping Coolpad note 5 forum alive

If you see that resource is busy error then it can not fix. you need to reflash the rom

First thing it will work only on redmi 3s LAND
It won't work on other device ok.
Well if u really ask the real developer the MIUI which constructed whole ROM. Then the one u r referring need to ask for permission .. MIUI apps aren't open-source which is used in this ROM. But I don' wanna contradiction.
No one can stop using any ROM to anyone , me , you ,him or any other..
I got the ROM now even if it doesn't update it still better and i have other friend who can help me fork but i don't have resources so i just helping this way..

Hey, I am am planning to flash this tomorrow first thing. In the link provided in the OP, the 'system v2' folder says to download from the porter until you upload there. I have downloaded the files from @fxsheep from the original port thread. Can I just add the 'boot+modem+vendor' files provided by you to the original files by @fxsheep and restore through twrp?
I am new to this GSI thing so need to clear this out before I take any further steps.

1. Flash trouble supported recovery (preferably Orange Fox)
2. Mount vendor
3. Flash any trouble enabled 8.1 Oreo ROM of your device (to get vendor)
4. Flash his backup.
This is the common way for all devices

I got the procedure from the original thread. What I wanted to confirm was that will the vendor be flashed if I mount it with system and flash along with it. And thanks for the efforts for our land.

Before any actions:
copy all that you need from SDcard internal to PC!
If you want backup calls, messages, contacts (different by goggle contatcs or if you can record all the contacts in your google contacts account directly through the contacts application).
For backup, use any application from google play! Save in your PC! After all the processes you can restore them using the same application that you used.
Unlocking Bootloader WILL set warranty flag to "NO". So think for a few minutes if you need it!
If you have full backup from your phone, BEFORE unlocking, so there is a possibility to restore warranty to "yes".

Enable Developer options on phone: open settings--> "About device"--> click build number 7 times--> go back one screen in Settings
-->select "System" --> scroll to bottom "Developer options" --> enable "USB debugging" and "OEM unlocking". LOOK in the screen phone about any permission adb!
Now you SHOULD Download Files in Attachment in this post and READ the GUIDE with pictures..........

Instructions for flash Stock recovery or Custom recoveries with SPFT:
You have many options like two is better: Use application (ROOT is required) or Use SPFT (knowledge for flash is required - search).
Other way is using adb-fastboot. [GUIDE already have! But upload when it's convenient!]
A very important tip to first step: MAKE NOW BACKUP OF YOUR ROM! ​
ROOT
After TWRP installed and booted is need the Magisk copied on sdcard to install with TWRP!
Search here in xda the files Magisk_vXX.zip​Without install the ROOT so the stock ROM don't start with TWRP!!

You may have already blocked the bootloader again. But in custom ROMs (GSI - Project Treble) you might need this file if you want.
Download lk MODs zip and unzip in the plattform tools folder for use adb-fastboot for flashing:

Some ROMs need modification something to work better in G9 like camera 13MPx & 8MPx..... But need time to do it.

I tested one Gcam version but it's not much different of stock camera in the G9. So I found of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 here:

But some apks stopping or start with very issues. So is need get good apk and make a modification for G9.

This thread would have been very much beneficial and I would have been a lot thankful if the Stock ROM for SP Flashtool was shared. I tried asking BLU support, but they would not share the ROM. Can you please share it?

I know how to install recovery, custom ROMs, and root but I have no idea how to send stock recoveries. I just received my pro today and unlocked the bootloader. Now I am trying to root it but without twrp or cwm it is a no go ?

im confused a little, is there actually a twrp already made for the blu g9? or do I have to compile it myself? also is the root method based off of the idea of flashing twrp and then installing root or is there another method of root?

You not see the pictures about TWRP?
That's not good?!
TWRP is not only ROOT. Backup & Restore your own ROM ensures more security than only Rooting with another method!
Have other method?: Try it yourself!

I tried following the bootloader unlock guide and got stuck after phone entered fastboot. fastboot devices command shows my phone but when i put fastboot var all it shows nothing? Anybody had this problem? Im trying to unlock the bootloader so I can put a custom recovery and flash a audiomod such as Viper4Android! Seems like Music playing with headphone quality is great and Volume is low also. Please Help

You have a BLU V9?!
Fastboot command:
fastboot getvar all
Maybe need other adb-fastboot tool like adb-fastboot minimal. Maybe drivers adb not installed?
Maybe other way because V9 has Unisoc SC9863A GPU: IMG8322?!

Yes thats the command given in the Guide that i Tried to use. I just bought this Blu V9 from best buy but the entire time its connected to my PC its being called a G8? I heard Blu rereleases phones with slight modifications to boost sales so who knows. Do you have one and have you successfully unlocked the bootloader and installed the twrp recovery?

How does one get the stock recovery from a device without root or custom recovery? I have a G9 Pro but I cannot port twrp without my stock recovery

I understand. I made the mistake of thinking this the guide was for the v9. Does anybody know of any support for this device and if so could you please point me in that direction? Thanks ahead of time

Well, i not know if this user want share the TWRP file. But any user G9 Pro can ask about that directly for the him.....

Custom ROM info:
That's time for test & solve any issues in the device with GSI ROMs.
If anyone want test and reporting bugs/issues with Resurrection Remix 7.0.3 for install in the BLU G9 so need unlocked bootloader, encrypted vendor (v.9.0.04.05), TWRP installed and patched files (PM me about charge fix) and time to install.
