[URGENT] Every reboot results in a factory reset

So today my droid started messing up, home and recents button didnt work. Google play store and whatnot couldnt access data, the signal status bar at the top was just grey.
So i factory reset it. During the reset it just sat there on the little screen with the spinning hexball thing for like an hour so i shut the phone off. Now every time the phone boots it just tries to wipe it again unless i go into the boot menu and hit normal boot.
Running stock rom and whatnot, but im rooted.
I know that theres a flag somewhere that it reads on boot saying to wipe it, but dang if i know what to change.
Thanks in advance
Well i unrooted my phone and tried to let it redo the factory reset again, and it still just wont do anything.

When this happens to me, it's because of a bad flash and a factory reset won't fix it. I would suggest reflashing stock...

I dont have a custom recovery or an unlocked bootloader.
I managed to get the problem sorted out through some unrooting and some non stock system file deletion. Installed safestrap and got blurry hd running on it now.
Thanks.

Phone locked/P8max

I'm trying to root the phone for a few days but I can't get to the fastboot or something.
What do I have to do to get into fastboot other boot? Holding down the Volume down and Power for a few seconds?
And if do do Vol down and up and Power all at once, I get a screen with the Android doll and a msg Phone locked.
What does that mean?
And if do another combination of keypresses, the phone is is saying: Huawei software installing
It also keeps stuck at 90%.
It takes long to install something. It's a DAV-703L and I am on update B028.
EDIT
I finally got it working and it's unlocked. I installed SuperSU and rebooted it. And what is this:
http://imgur.com/cqfBbMU
I wanted to install and open Titanium Backup but it says it's not rooted.
EDIT
Man, this was one hell of searching and doing research all day. All why it was not working was because of the wrong version of SuperSu, namely BETA 2.49
because it was chinese. It's finally rooted but it keeps booting into TWRP now.
You have to flash the original recovery, this will fix the bootloop!

Ok, will I lose the root?
EDIT
Never have been learning and playing so intensive with this phablet. For now it booted normal and seems have the root still on.
Anyone can explain how to remove the Huawei bloatware? I have Titanium Backup but can't find to remove the those annoying apps.
EDIT2
Seems I have to write down the annoying bloatware apps name and have the options to backup, freez and delete.
Ok, so rooting have benefits... Awesome, and also got rid of no more whatsapp notif because of Phone Manager.
Alright, one last question. If I want to restore the phone to its factory settings, will it be restored in its original state?
Like after leaving the factory?

Succesful Rooting! But encryption started a boot loop and I'm stuck. T_T

Hi! I'm quite new here and I'm not sure if this post breaks any rule. T_T
Anyway, I successfully rooted my Xperia XA (F3115), thanks to this guide: [F31xx][Video Guide] How to root your Xperia XA (as noob friendly as possible )
However, after rooting, when I tried to encrypt the internal storage again, it seems like there is a problem. The encryption started but when the process rebooted my phone, it is taking too long. It has been more than 3 hours and my phone is still stuck in the boot screen with the "Xperia" text. :crying::crying::crying:
I do not want to interrupt the boot as I'm afraid it might mess up my phone. Do you have any advice?
Thank you in advance!
~~Update:
Because I need to use the phone I decided to risk it and interrupted the boot loop by holding the power button + volume up.
The phone restarted and showed that the encryption failed, giving me an option to Reset the phone.
I opted to reset the Phone. It just booted to the setup screen you get when the phone is new.
I will try to encrypt the phone again after setup.
~~update:
I have confirmed the Super SU app was the culprit. If you want to encrypt the phone again you will have to do it before the step where you have to boot into recovery to install Super SU.
~~update:
After setting my own password and encrypting the phone, I tried booting to TWRP. It asked for the password so I typed in my password, but it failed. Any idea why?
I really want to have a rooted AND encrypted Xperia XA.
Enable OEM Unlocking
Factory Reset from settings
Encrypt your internal storage
Unlock Bootloader
Flash respective images.
When entering TWRP, do not try to decrypt, tap CANCEL
swipe to allow modification, Swipe it
Flash SuperSU
Restore DRM
Reboot
Done
Your phone is encrypted and rooted.

Can't reboot into system after rooting

I'm sorry in advance if this is a really stupid question, but I couldn't find anything after searching Google, or maybe I wasn't searching for the right thing? Anyways I'd appreciate any help on this.
I'm a complete noob in the world of rooting. I thought I'd give it a go this morning. Everything went well and I think I was successful. I was trying to remove some apps (bixby) with a root access app remover and restarted my tab 6 when I encountered this problem. I keep getting the message 'downloading... do not turn off target' instead of rebooting into the system like normal. I've tried going into recovery mode and redoing the steps from the rooting guide I followed, but I'm getting the same blue screen.
What should I do now? What did I mess up?
You're booting into download mode - What packages did you "remove" because it's possible you removed something that the Tab relies on, especially if you were removing Samsung stuff.
You could try booting into recovery, then clearing dalvic and cache.
I assume you didn't flash TWRP?
Your only other option I think will be to refresh stock.
If you're a noob and planning on messing with the system files, you should really install TWRP and create a full backup before you do anything else so recovering from issues is a bit easier.

Recover data of frozen Samsung Galaxy A51 SM-A515F

Hello,
my friends Samsung Galaxy A51 crashed while using it, opening a google docs link she received via WhatsApp.
Restarting the phone will only show Samsung logo, then Samsung Galaxy A51 logo and then dead again. No boot loop.
In the morning the wake up alarm set in the phone plays its chimes but display remains black.
Rebooting phone with holding volume down doesn't work.
The phone is not rooted or flashed.
I can enter Recovery mode. Tried to restart system. Tried to delete cache. Tried to repair apps. None of this changed anything.
I can connect via adb but only in Sideload mode. Hoped to unsintall Samsung Browser as this might be a damaged app. But I don't have permission because USB debugging is not toggled. I tried adb restart and adb restart recovery. Phone will no restart to Android. Restarting to recovery works but doesn't solve the problem.
I can bring the phone to Download mode. Btw. none of the tutorials helped to do this. At some point I double-tapped the power button and was surprised to get into Download mode. I wanted to flash TWRP recovery to the phone to get more options to backup and recovery. Unfortunatley the OEM protection did not allow me to flash TWRP recovery.
My friend is from Ukraine and has her Ukrainian banking app registered with this phone and currently no other possibility to access her bank account. Also she has a lot of data like contacts, messages, photos and videos only on this phone. So we can not do a factory reset.
Do you have any other ideas for troubleshooting?
Do you have any ideas how to remove OEM protection without access to OS so I can at least flash TWRP and do a backup?
Do you have any other idea how I could backup the phone?
Unfortunately I still have not been successful to get the phone working again or to backup or read any data.
Just to add another information: I drained the battery to 0% so the phone was totally dead. I was not optimistic that this full power off might help any more than the restarts I did so far. But running out of ideas. It didn't help or change anything.
I'm afraid only a factory reset could at least repair the phone :-(

Without OEM-Unlocking and USB-Debugging you will not be able to install TWRP and if so then all data would be gone automatically anyway, as this is equivalent to a factory reset.
The only way would be to download the STOCK-ROM with "Frija" (quick and free) and flash it with "Odin". Of course, the mobile phone is then virgin and has to be set up again from the beginning. A Google login restores a lot of data. Setting up the banking app again (username & password, etc.) shouldn't be a problem either.
Of course you can also try a factory reset first, but setting up a completely new one is not avoided here either.
Much luck!
