Hello everyone, I hope all are doing great.
I need your help, is there a dialer app that if I dial the code *#06# to display the IMEI number it will show two imei numbers on the screen instead of one imei number on a single sim phone?.
So for example I have blackberry KEYone phone which is single sim and I want a dialer app that I can modify to add one more IMEI number to it and then when I dial *#06# code it will display the original IMEI number of the phone and the one I added ?
I hope I managed to explain my point.
The reason I want this because I want to use it on my phone to register and declaring my phone to operate on the service providers network here where I live.
Any helpful info will be highly appreciated
Many thanks

Whenver I dial with 7 digits, the phone does not recognize the contact entry. I'm pretty sure that my previous phone (iPhone 4s) would recognize 5551234 as the same as 123 555 1234 and know my contacts name. At least it did with my home area code, probably not for numbers outside my area code.
This phone just calls it unknown. Is there a setting for this I can adjust to dial with 7 digits?
Nope. Sorry
i called tech support about the same thing. I'm coming from t mobile. had to ad my area code to majority of my contacts...sucks. Another thing i miss is t-mobile had caller id with name for numbers not in your contact list. Worked like land line caller id. with ATT we're stuck with just the number It seems like those types of things would be easy to implement features..

Click to collapse
its the provider issue...
if you put your local tmo sim into your HOX, you could still enjoy the 7 digits calling feature
Hello, I tried to change my phone number on sprints site to a new one. For some reason my phone would not accept this new number. Is there a way to manually enter the number into the phone with a dialer code? I have the MSID(IMSI) it gave me after I did the switch. Any help? Thanks
You cannot just choose a New Number. A new number will be randomly assigned to you. Check THIS see if it helps you out.
It come from the USA. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHICH IS THE SERIAL NUMBER TO BE ABLE TO UNLOCK IT PLEASE.
Hi,
You won't the imei number. I think it's 15 to 17 digits. You can find it in the software also, in your settings, and "about" phone.
Dial *#06# on the phone and it should display the number also.
And don't post the number in any forum, or it could be stolen. ?
Good luck!

The IMEI # should be on the back of the phone. Text is pretty small.
^ What he said.
Backside of the phone, at the bottom.
You can find both IMEI and S/N there (Very transparent text though so not easy to read)

Cool, but I don't know what format it needs to enter on Samsung website, I registered a Samsung account and try to register this phone but when I am entering and clicking submit its not accepting it, if I need to include slash(/) in imei number which I enter and also how many digits long IMEI numbers are.
Thanks for reply fuya
You should only need to type in the 15 digits

Thanks
I have been seeing stuff pop up about about IMEI repair which basically can take a blacklisted phone and make it work with a certain network/s.
Simple question how exactly does it work? Does it change the IMEI number of the phone?
Messing around with IMEI stuff is at best a grey area, so it doesn't get discussed here.
If you dont have backup or numbers of your original IMEI yes it change your numbers
