Hi all,
i have a problem with some apps (e.g. A2DP, DVD, Mediaplayer) on my MTCD PX5 2GB on both the Malaysk 6.0.1 and the new Oreo 8.0.0 Android.
When i want to launch these apps, they begin to load, show the UI for the fraction of a second and immediately disappear. In case of A2DP i can hear the sound from BT shortely until the App-UI went away. So the app seems to work generally but for some reason gets pushed to the background. In Malaysk i had this issue with A2DP, DVD and the preinstalled Mediaplayer, but not with the Radio-App. In Oreo i have the problem also with the Radio-App.
All Apps, which i installed myself additionally like Poweramp, MXPlayer, Pocketcasts, Googlemaps, Sygic are running without problems. Some of the preinstalled apps like Soundsettings, Filemanager or Car/Canbus-Events do not show the Problem.
I also tried to uninstalled my favorite AGAMA launcher and used the default launcher from the ROM but no change.
I can see the disappeared apps when i push the android-task-switching-icon, so they do not seem to be killed, only put to some unusable background-state.
Does anybody have an idea, what could cause this problem?
Thanks a lot

Update: The Radio-App works now stable, suddenly while DVD and A2DP are still unusable. I dont know why.
Other Audio-Bug from Malaysk also persisting on Oreo is Volume, Equilizer and Soundpositioning (Front vs. Rear) gets reseted to default after re-launching the car/MTCD. It is quite annoying to re-fresh the front/back-volumesetting everyday, allthough the UI shows the correct user-defined position, i need to change and re-change the volume and it will suddenly flip to the correct user pre-defined value. (may be another thread???)

This issue only started for me about a month ago and has gotten progressively worse.
Every time I open Google apps that could be used to stream music (play music, YouTube), I get a message saying that Bluetooth has stopped.
It happens whether I'm actually connected to a Bluetooth device or not and I can't find a way to prevent it. It never used to happen while using power amp either.
Is there anything that can be done?
Edit: It happens any time I play music now
Edit 2: The problem seems to be related to an update of the play music app. I uninstalled the update and only have the base version of the app now and everything is working fine.
Try going into apps in sttings if ure rooted use a diffrent app manager and clear the cache and data on bluetooth
Hi!
Im on exynos version of S7 and i have a little problem.
On apeq stock firmware (i didnt noticed this before), when locking device / turning off screen, phone is activating Bluetooth on its own! Ive noticed Bluetooth icon disappearing moments after turning screen on. There is battery drain from Bluetooth sharing (or someting simmilar, i have non-english version of android set).
Bluetooth is disabled in options and Bluetooth scanning is turned off. I do not use any kind of Bluetooth hardware /dongles.
Is this a common bug?
I haven't seen or heard of this before, but just thinking about it...Do you have any location based apps running that night trigger your bluetooth like IFTTT or My Places?
No, i've got no such things besides standard google apps. No new apps since last rom update.
Well, i think i have found a guilty app.
I tried factory reset, then i have downgraded to APC8 firmware and still, after app installation bluetooth started to show up.
By trial & error method i started to delete apps one by one and found out that SwiftKey was the "bad apple". Unfortunately for me - it's my favorite keyboard...
Well, after uninstalling and replacing it with google keyboard all is fine for now.
I've recently purchased and fitted a Joying JY-UL135N2 android 5.1 stereo. Everything is fine besides an odd problem with the navigation.
For some reason I can't get any navigation instruction audio to play, if I open Google maps and choose test audio in the settings it reduces the sound of everything else playing (radio/music) but I can't hear any instructions.
I've checked all the audio settings including the equaliser and nothing seems out of place so I've no idea what's wrong.
It seems to affect all the GPS apps, Google maps, Waze, etc.. The only app that's works is some German one that comes pre-installed.
I thought it might be a problem with the text to speech but with it all updated and set to Google voice in audio settings the problem is still there.
Anyone know what might be causing this?
Edit:
Fixed, seems they shipped it with totally broken software. Needed an firmware update.
Are you enjoying this radio?
Well I just upgraded to new Oreo and guess what? I can't use my Bluetooth headset anymore (Blue Tiger Elite). The audio gets distorted or breaking up. Failing to connect or disconnect to/from the phone. Was working fine before update. Tinkering Bluetooth settings in developer mode didn't help since they will stay unchanged after you open the menu again.
Have anyone encountered same problem?
When im paired up with the stereo in my work truck i noticed a pop every now and then.

Audio streaming on Nougat for me was perfect all the time, now since my Oreo update I've experienced constant stuttering and/or growly distortion for a moment at least every ten seconds. Also 'Settings' keeps closing whenever I'm accessing any of my apps when changing permissions for example. It couldn't even pull up my app list, so I've done a backup and deleted at least 300 of my apps, and only now things are slightly better. I don't understand why everything is lagging so much now when before the update, all was perfect.. Help?

Try factory reset, it worked for me. Good luck!
Yes, I'm having the same issue with bluetooth connection and the same Blue Tiger Elite. Just got off the phone with Verizon tech person he is thinking my headset is old enough technology that it won't stay connected.

I have a rooted Note 4 running 5.1.1. Recently, I began having trouble with its Bluetooth functionality. The audio would be very choppy regardless of which app was being used on the phone. I went through the process of clearing the cache many times, restarting the phone, etc., but still nothing has worked...but this isn't the purpose of this thread (though any suggestions related to fixing the problem will still be appreciated). I noticed yesterday and again today that Bluetooth is still running on the phone after a restart even though Bluetooth is turned off in the settings. In other words, when I go to the Applications Manger in the settings and swipe over to the tab showing which processes are running, Bluetooth is listed there. I only turn on Bluetooth when I need it so since it was off, it was surprising to see it listed as running. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have an idea why?
I'm also seeing other apps running even though I haven't used them. One is called "PageBuddyNotiSvc", and then there is "Direct pen input" (I have an SPen but I haven't used it in months), and then there was Textra which I have installed but rarely use (it's not my default SMS application even). I don't recall seeing these showing up in the App Manager in the past---especially not the first two. If I stop them, they seem to stay off but I'm still curious as to why they, along with Bluetooth, are running in the background in the first place.
