So I tried to factory reset my Galaxy S6 and it got stuck in a boot loop and i cant do anything except go into the Volume Down, power and home screen button screen. I've tried to fix it but have been unsuccessful. Any help would be nice.:good:
usually it needs about 20 minutes for first boot..
Second... wipe data by pressing volume up + power button + home button if the boot logo appear release power button.... then wipe your data & cache ....
or install ur favorite custom firmware for better experience.....

I put the latest version of CM10 and I got stuck in the boot loop sequence: I see only the intro animation.
1. If I press the power button for 7 seconds, the tablets restarts itself and I'm from where I went: the intro animation
2. If I press the power button for 7 seconds and the up button, the tablets restarts itself and I see the samsung logo and here:
2a) if I keep holding power button and the up button, I get in another loop: the tablet restart and I see the samsung logo and so on.
2b) if I take my finger off power button but I keep pressing the up button, the tablet gets into the intro animation of CM10.
Any suggestions in how could I resolve this problem?

What do you get when you press the power button and the down button?
Same thing as with Up..
Anyway I solved the problem:
So I managed to put in Recovery mode using ADB.
I let the sucker to die (leave it without power), I connect it to my computer and after that " adb reboot recovery ".

No, I made a stupid mistake.
I put on top of CM10 a build of CM9 and the rest is history.
So I did a factory reset, the tab rebooted to wipe the device, went to nvidia logo then screen went black, shuts off automatically and I can turn back on just for it to get right past the logo and shut off again, I've tried volume up with power and volume down and same thing happens. Sometimes the power won't even turn it back on for 5-10 minutes. Any suggestions?

Dumb question, but are you sure the battery is charged? I would leave it plugged in for awhile and try again. Then if it still is not booting try to enter download mode while connected to PC. Mine did something similar to this once when I did a factory reset as well. It only recovered after connecting USB to my PC.
I'm guessing you have custom recovery installed?
1. Download the factory image from NVIDIA website (specific to your device version),
2. Go into fastboot by pressing volume down and give a slight nudge to the power button (don't press until the logo comes up, just a quick nudge will do)
3. Unlock your bootloader using the instruction which can be found on this forum (if you have, skip this step) sorry I'm on mobile phone, so a bit hard to do a search for the link with small screen.
4. Unzip the recovery image zip file.
4. While still in fastboot, flash the recovery images using flash-all.bat contained in the unzipped folder.
You will lose your custom recovery and your root, but since you were gonna wipe your device anyway.. let me know if you're stuck somewhere.
I think i might have found fix....
Shut down the device with long press (8sec) Power button
Press and hold Vol down key
Press and release Power key
Device enters fastboot mode
Select Recovery mode option (using Vol up/down for navigation and power key to select)
Device enters recovery mode (after showing NVIDIA boot logo) with Android Robot screen.
Press and release Vol UP + Power button simultaneously
Then select wipe data/factory reset with Vol up/down key to navigate and power key to select
try this but be PATIENT AND wait for it to say erasing then i think ill be normal once its done also just wait with it on the "blank screen" we could have just got ahed of are selves and whent to conclusions and thought it was bricked
I booted into Recovery (using home button, power button and vol up) and did a factory reset and wiped the cache, I then clicked reset device. My phone will power on but it hangs at the white screen with the ATT Ball on it. It has been sitting on this screen for 5 minutes and the power light flashes.
What do I need to do in order to fix my device?
i rooted my galaxy s7 about a week ago, i woke today to every app i opened crashing on me. i figured i would restart the phone to see if this fixed anything and upon restarting the phone gets stuck on the at&t globe logo. i've turned it off and tried to boot it multiple times including clearing the cache it stayed stuck at the at&t globe logo. i then factory reset it and the phone finally booted. I've had to do this twice now is there any fix?
While at the AT&T screen, press and hold "Power" + "Home" + "Vol Down" until the download screen appears. Press volume up to enter download mode. Once you are at a black screen with small letters, press and hold "Power" + "Home" + "Vol UP" until the recovery screen appears. From here you can attempt to wipe the cache, or just reboot. I also have the AT&T (ATT) s7 gm-g930a and have only been able to break the boot loop by doing a factory reset from the recovery screen. Best of luck!

Please tell me why you would like to enter recovery. If you are trying to factory reset, which is basically only option there, you can do that from the OS. However, if you cannot access it, you can access recovery by using this button combo.
Power down your phone, and then hold down the power button and down volume at the same time. I forgot if this is download mode or recovery, but tell me if it works. Don't have my LG V10 on me atm.
I am trying to reset the battery stats.
I tries holding the buttons down, I get the LG logo and then after 20-25 seconds the phone reboots and the logo is displayed again. If I stop holding any of the buttons the phone boots (after AT&T logo).
So it does not work and I don;t know why.
hold power and vol down, when the logo pops up wait 2 secs, then let go of power for about 1 sec, then hold it again.
trick is to not let go of power down the whole time. my phone died on me today, so i had to figure this out.
