InCall Volume and handsfree issue - Honor 8 Questions & Answers

Hello,
i have a Honor 8 and i am facing two issues.
1) When i am in a call the volume in earpiece is very very low and barely i can hear the person i am talking with. I have increased the volume to max and still no result.
2) the second issue i am facing is with the handsfree. With every handsfree i have connected the music starts and stops alone, it forward the track, it goes to next or previous track without my request, and also the voice recognition activates. All these automatically. Also, when i am in a call the call may be terminated or activates the mute.
Can you help with these problems?
Kind regards,

Odd Speaker / Headset Problem

I'm using the included headset (stereo hands-free) on my imate and having the following odd thing happening:
While on a call, initially the headset works fine, with the microphone on the device deactivated and the microphone on the inline headset picking up my voice. Then I hear a click and suddenly the microphone on the headset shuts off, and the device's microphone starts again. I can remedy this sometimes by removing the plug, placing the call on hold, reinserting the plug, and them resuming the call.
Anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this or have the same issue?
Thanks.

Speaker phone volume and mic?

I've noticed that the speaker phone volume is not has high as my previous phones. Also, when talking to someone on speaker they have a hard time hearing me. I have to talk close to the phone for them to hear me clearly.
In the past with my Galaxy S 4G, I had no issue with them hearing me or my speaker volume...
Is there anyway to adjust this past its max volume setting?
I have found that when connected to the mobile network, 2g/3g/4g (or whatever other G's decide to pop-up) the incoming and outgoing volume are much greater than when connected to the Wifi calling. The G2x is actually quite loud for me on both speaker and handset modes.
Are you using the Wifi calling or the normal network?
It's not just on the speakerphone. I've used a couple of audio recording apps, and in both of them if I speak in a normal tone of voice with the phone 2-3 feet away, I can barely hear myself in the playback. I'm think there must be a system-wide gain setting that is set incorrectly, but I haven't managed to find it. (Either that or the microphone is just plain awful.)

[Q] Call volume over Bluetooth is too low but Bluetooth voice prompt sound is high

Hi,
I recently bought a JABRA bluetooth and connected with LG G3. The volume of the calls are too low but the voice prompts of the bluetooth was really loud. I slided the volume of the Phone and the Bluetooth headset to Max but still the call volume is too low.
I have paired the Bluetooth with Note 4 and the sound was perfectly normal.
I even tried a different bluetooth headset still the call volume alone is really low.
I tried toggling the voice enhancements in phone settings still no results.
Just want to know if anyone has experienced any issues similar to this.
Thanks,
Gokul

Bluetooth and wired headset call volume issue (LOUD on VZW Note5).

I have spoken at length with samsung and plantronics customer support to no avail and would like to see if anyone else has had this issue. Bluetooth and wired headest call volume is extremely loud, much louder than media volume on the same devices. Even with volume set to minimum on both phone and bluetooth headset it hurts my eara and does not seeem safe for longterm use. Devices I have replicated the problem on include Plantronics Voyager Legend, Plantronics Voyager Edge, Jabra Stealth, and some skullcandy wired earbuds. So far both samsung and plantronics state thay they do not guarantee compatability with other manifacturers devices.
I have not had any issues so far and I do have and have used a Plantronics Voyager Legend. I have also used Bluetooth in my car. The only frustrating thing I have had to deal with is the stupid high volume warning you have to bypass to turn the volume up past a certain level. Sorry to hear about your issues.
Speaking of this, I get a pop-up alert when I turn the volume up past a certain threshhold (only happens via blutooth or probably wired headset). The problem is that this happens for each session, rather than just one time only. It's rather annoying because I use blutooth to play music in the car and when I go to raise the volume it stops for the pop-up message, which I have to clear to continue to raise the volume up.
Can this be disabled?

Click to collapse
That is the same message I am referring to, but it only pops up once per boot for me. As long as I don't reboot, I don't get the message. Each boot, however, I have to deal with the pop up...stupid!

How to disable phone speaker for voice notes?

Hey guys, sometimes I want to hear a voice note in a crowded place and I need the loudspeaker's extra volume. But in my phone both speakers are in the same place so when I get it next to my ear, whatsapp automatically starts playing the voice note through the phone speaker, whose volume is A LOT lower and I can't hear anything. I was wondering if there's a way to prevent whatsapp from changing to phone speaker. Thanks!
