strange issue with dual sim and 4G network - OnePlus 6 Questions & Answers

I verified a very wierd behavior. Even if I selected the 4G on both Sim, the sim not selected for data traffic is always forced to connect to 3G 900MHz. If I go in areas without that kind of coverage that sim becomes unreachable. I can deduct that dual 4G is actually a fake , isn't it?

[Q] No Data Roaming

For some reason my Sensation 4G(TMO-US) won't data roam on AT&T network. Any ideas?
Here's the current situation... 2g is all I can get at home. My 2g icon is showing but NOTHING that requires data will work. I'm roaming on AT&T because I'm outside the city, and voice and text work just fine but when I check my data roaming via *#*#4636#*#* it says not roaming. YES I HAVE DATA ROAMING ENABLED. My gf has the Exhibit 4g and has no issues... When I put her SIM into my phone data works just fine. I've called T-mobile and they claim our phone settings are identical and data roaming is enabled on their end for my SIM but when i put my SIM into her phone it won't connect to 2g. I've removed the battery and SIM, toggled ciphering, had then rebroadcast my number and still nothing. AND YES it's a new SIM card, actually the 2nd one and Tmobile 4g and 2g work just fine as well when I'm in their service area. Any help would be appreciated since T-mobile doesn't see this as a big enough problem. Can I somehow enter an APN for ATT? I'm really out of ideas.

I have the same issue did you ever find a solution?
Tmobile had to have a tech rebuild my profile for their network. Took about a week or so. Everything has been fine since.

[Q] Dual sim, 3G on both sims smultaneously - does such rarity exist?

Hello, for the last couple of days I've been on the hunt for a dualsim smartphone that can receive 3G signal on both of its sims, simultaneously.
At the moment I own a device that can do 3G/2G for sim1, only 2G for sim 2 and I have to use 2x3G sim cards(the provider emits exclusively 3G signal for mobile communications); in this scenario, one sim card is unusable.
Now my question emerges: is there such thing that can certainly(I can't afford to just buy devices that could possibly do this based on ambiguous internet discussions and test them out) keep 2 sims, both 3G, operational simnultaneously(not with the tricky switch, I will be needing to get calls on one of the sims, even if the other goes to standby)?
Thanks!

lumia 820 : No network on 2G (no problem with 3G/4G)

hello guys, I've a Lumia 820 (carrier EE UK). It is carrier unlocked and I can use any SIM card. My problem is, previously I could connect to 2G Vodafone network but, after some days, it is not connecting to 2G network. There is no problem with 3G/4G network (it happens with all other SIM operators too). I have a poor 3G/4G connectivity in my locality. Interestingly, WP Internals says my phone is SIM card locked
I tried hard-resetting, selecting network manually (it shows 2G networks but can't connect), I've even tried using different SIM cards and operators but nothing helped.
I did contact Microsoft Customer Support but, they too can't find out what's wrong with the mobile.
Please help me

Simple sim data switch

Hello fellow members, I have a bit of a more complicated problem.
I have a dual sim Moto G2 capable of handling one sim in 3g network and the other in 2g network. In SIM slot 1 I have a Digi.Mobil sim card with unlimited data. In SIM slot 2 I have an Orange sim card with few GB of data.
The Digi.Mobil sim card gives me no signal when I am at my office so I need to use the Orange sim card to be reachable. To use the Orange sim card I have to go to settings and manually select it as the data sim. This makes the Orange sim as the 3g sim and the Digi sim as 2g sim.
When I leave work I could leave the Orange sim as the data sim with 3g and Digi sim as 2g. The problem is that the Digi network does not accept 2g. Only 3g or 4g. This means that for the Digi sim to work I have to switch it back as 3g and use the Orange as 2g and use data from the Digi sim.
Is there like a super simple widget or way to just say: OK now i want to have net from Digi and automatically set it as 3g, and now I want to have net from Orange and set that one as 3g? Or is there a way to have 3g as preffered network for Digi while using data from Orange as 2g?
I know the problem is a bit complicated but I really appreciate any help on this.

[Request] [Help] Tethering from sim 2, phone data on sim 1

So, the OP7Pro has duel 4G capability. Would it be possible to tether from sim 2,whilst using data on the phone for sim 1. If 4g is activated for both aims, this would be great as I wouldn't slow down my data when Tethering lots from my laptop. Happy to throw some money at it if a dev can help with that.
As far as I understood, the Dual 4G means, the phone uses 4G on both sim (allowing VoLTE for example). But that switch did not lead the phone to use data on both sim simultanously... data uses always the selected sim for data.

Ok, that makes sense (and does work) - but to counter that, my network's VoLTE band allows you to use data on that band, as they also use it for extending indoor coverage, and so i can use data on the phone. Think it's still possible?
