Mate 9 keeps rebooting, IMEI uknown - Huawei Mate 9 Questions & Answers

Hi,
My Mate 9 ( MHA-L29 ) has broken all of the suden. After turning it on it works for a minute or so and then it reboots. It is doing that all over again - working for 30-60s, reboots, working again, reboots. It also says IMEI unkown. When i go to settings there is no 'update' option.
Any suggestions what could be a problem?
Thank you
Edit: I tried factory reset and hard reset, didnt help.

MT7-L09 on bootloop help!

Hello guys,
recently i was experimenting on my Huawei Ascend Mate 7, i was trying to root it but without result.
then yesterday i want to reset my phone but it didn't work, (btw bootloader is unlocked.)
i tried it with 2 methods:
1. System reset (trough settings -> backup & reset -> reset all data on phone, didn't work)
2. 3btn reset (also didn't work, i can't even get to the menu where you can choose stuff like reset etc.., it's just restart evertime)
Then i though maybe i can flash something, and i did (bad idea!) i was on 5.1 stock, i tried flashing to 4.4.2 didn't work.
now my phone just reboots every time i tried flashing it with stock recovery, boot, system, cust.
Please help me!
Thanks.

I had a similar problem when I messed up an update to 145. The trick was to do a hard reset vol + and -, then power. Have your rollback software on the SD and push the SD card into the slot when the phone logo appears. I got the fw back to an earlier version then upated using sw updater. This phone is a pain in the ass!!!!
You will have to look about as to the correct rollback fw for your phone dependent on your location.
Or try this thread?

Even better. Just done this myself and it works:

Lost IMEI, unknow baseband and freezes on Huawei Ascend Y550

Hi guys,
I'm new to XDA Developers, so please let me know if I'm doing something wrong.
As I said in the description above, I am the unfortunate owner of a Huawei Ascend Y550, which after a reboot:
- takes 3 minutes to boot
- does not recognize the IMEI and baseband version
- constantly freezes / crashes
- plays no Sound
- wont longer recognize the Sim-Card
I have already tried a factory reset, which resets the device, but outputs the message "commom nv restore fail" (the problems are still there after reboot).
The Safe Mode did not solve the problem either.
With MatLog I have read out the logs, which are flooded by errors like these:
"Lib: oem_qmi_cmd: Connection failed !!, Connection refused, retry 456".
(Since the entire log is too big, please ask me to provide the full Log by Mail.)
Can someone help me in this case or give tips?
Or someone had a similar problem?
Let me know.
Try "Wipe data + factory reset" and then "Clear cache partition" in Recovery Mode.
I have already tried this several times, result: "common nv restore fail".

Data Partition has damaged - Honor 6x - Need solution

I have a non-rooted Honor 6x (4,64 BLN-L22) with bootloader LOCKED & UNTOUCHED. I was using the camera app yesterday and the phone suddenly restarted by its own. Then It kept restarting from the lock screen, sometimes it restarted after few seconds of unlocking it. It never lagged or hanged for a moment but all of sudden my phone was in the boot loop. I tried to open the recovery menu which usually opens once in hundred tries. I removed the cache, even did a factory reset but it is still in the boot loop. When I factory reset it, I saw an option to fix the data partition which was damaged seriously (I don't know How?), nothing happened by clicking it, just a restart to the eRecovery menu of Huawei.
Now, is there any fix other than the problem-skipping-solution to change the motherboard. Thanks

com.phone.android not responding on HTC U11

OK so here's the issue i have a stock HTC u11 phone which completely stopped working last week. It gave me a com.android.phone is not responding error message. For me this was a simple fix. Clear the Cache start fresh problem solved. So far no luck. Go Deeper clear the Cache Partition restart problem solved. No luck. Go Deeper Factory Reset the phone as i've got 0 connectivity though wi-fi or mobile. And Still have the same issue. Trying to access the Sim toolkit on the completely wiped phone still give me the same error message of com.android.phone is not responding and it still doesn't recognize the SIM card or allow wi-fi to turn on. Any suggestions?

erecovery p40 pro fails

Hello!
I wanted to downgrade my EMUI version from 154 to 148, I did all the steps with HSuiteProxy and then sync it to the phone with HSuitePc
No errors during this process,
During the reboot and final installation it did not recognise the partition so it was formatted again
The process finished successfully ( or I thought )
Now the phone is restarting all the time after the "Huawei Logo"
When I go to "update and recovery system" it can connect to the wifi, but sadly it fails "retrieving package information"
What I could do ?
Thanks!
PD: phone is locked
Mine did exactly the same hold power and volume up. When you get the option . Wipe cache and then do factory reset . Works perfectly and now have Google services working
