Hey guys so it looks like I got twrp into boot and recovery on my phone because when I try to start it up it just starts into recovery. I have access to the fastboot but don't have any oxygen roms on the phone to boot from. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks!

Yes but I can currently only access fastboot mode and adb devices doesn't show the phone connected so I can't adb push to it. If I try to fastboot boot the twrp recovery, that fails on me as well.

Works perfectly with MMB29P. Personally, I would hold off until more people have tested the new security update.

If you reflash or upgrade your bootloader it replace my themed imgdata with stock, which imho contain all bootloader images. So for this process in unnecessary to restore, but if you will YES you have to just flash that zip through recovery.

But the OTA will fail when trying to verify imgdata partition, in the case it tries to patch BL, right?

To be honest, I'm not sure if it'll fail, but I was writing about manual upgrading with fastboot, not OTA.

Yes it work with L29, have tried it myself. I don't know, if it will solve the problem. Try it.

fastboot cant flash img files
same problem
and tried to unlock bootloader it sayes alreasy unlockd
tried to relock
i tried relock failed too
it sayes
failed remote root tybe is risk
really dont know what is the problem

No it's not possible. Either you Flash a Recovery or flash a Kernel with Odin, both will break ota.

Hey all,
So I'm running root Magisk and you guys are all probably aware of this issue, I just can't find the solution online at the moment, most articles lead to just awareness of the issue but no solution.
Anyone know how I can start doing OTA updates on my Pixel with Magisk to get around the "Couldn't update -- Installation problem". Obviously it must be working if there are instructions for doing so.
Any help to fix this would be great.

Yikes, what a miss. So basically if I altered any of the system directory like reverting a user app to a system app I'm screwed?
edit: If that's the case, can I revert back to the magisk boot partition while not connected to adb, and just do a reflash of magisk and my phone will reboot properly?

If I just sideload the OTA would that work (I'd assume it would get rid of Magisk, but would it causes problems or bootloops etc)?

having anything other than pure stock will cause OTAs to fail. u can manually flash update images or sideload otas through ADB
