Hi guys, how i can change the vibration intensity on my op6 (rooted)? In the settings is set to High but for me is too low
Best regards
you cannot change vibration intensity, even custom kernel cannot completely disable this nonsense !!
I am highly upset with this retarded Oneplus policy !!
Very soft vibration even on "high". I wish it could be modified. So no kernel will help this? Can OP do anything about it in an OTA? Seems crazy that this is something so small, yet so important, and OP overlooked it.
Clean slate kernel has some options

Hello everyone.
Shorter version:
CM7
Pros:
1. Amazing battery life.
2. More options and settings (after all it is cm).
3. Nicer user interface.
4. Flash player 11 for arm6 is working perfectly.
5. No bloatware.
6. Fast enough and stable (not one fc so far).
Cons:
1. Front cam. Although back one is working fine it would be nice to have a front one as well. Minor issue though, I don't use it anyway.
2. Fm Radio is always turning my bluetooth on when I start it and use it. Don't know if it is supposed to do that but it is a real battery drain and I don't want to use 3rd party apps if that is even possible. This is a minor issue since I don't use it often.
3. Led notification turns green at 90% and more when charging and my phone tricked me to unplug quite a few times Also a minor issue.
4. Default automatic brightness is just terrible. I know that they can be modified through cm settings>display>automatic backlight but I am not sure what values to enter to get the best and optimum results. I just cannot get them quite right.
So, to conclude. Cm7 is just great and really ready for daily use. I only need to set up the automatic backlight properly and this is where I need your help. If anyone knows the best values for these settings, please, write them down in this or the original cm7 thread.
Best wishes
I've set the status bar notification for backlight to 25/50/75/100. I feel that these values suit every possible condition.

Hi Alex, you must have misunderstood me. I'm not talking about those settings. I don't want to adjust brightness manually. I'm talking about window length, reset threshold, sample interval and custom light sensor levels so my phone can automatically adjust brightness. These can be found in cyanogen settings>display>automatic backlight

Ah, ok then.. Unfortunately I did not have the patience required to set/tweak them.
Intelligent Ringer sets ringer volume based on the ambient noise level in which your smartphone is actually working. It is also able to detect whether the device is in a pocket or not, based on the proximity sensor readings.
Unlike similar apps Intelligent Ringer adjusts its internal settings to the particular device, which has a significant effect on measurement and setting process accuracy.
**************************************************
Notification removal for Jelly Bean users:
You can permanently switch off this notification instead of just hiding it. Please go to: System Settings --> Application Manager --> Intelligent Ringer --> and uncheck "Show Notifications".
**************************************************
It respects silent and vibrate mode - when any of these is active, volume won't be changed by the Intelligent Ringer.
********************
You can control whole process using the following application settings:
- Pocket Factor - Additional volume which is added to the actual measurement value only when the device is discovered to be in a pocket.
- Accuracy - decide how precise the volume setting process should be.
- Sensitivity - change the microphone sensitivity when needed.
Minimum / Maximum volume - limit the maximum and minimum volume possible to set.
Update 1.0.8 is available now.

New features in version 1.0.3:
- Minimum and maximum volume settings.
- fixed charset in Polish help.
Useful app
Brilliant!!! TQ!
I'd love to help translating it to spanish, where can I help?
theoretically, shouldnt this app drain tons of battery?
This is pretty funny. I imagined this very same tool about 2 days ago, pocket detector and all. I'm definitely going to try this. I often don't hear my phone outside.
i dont mean to hijack the thread, but i coulda swore there was an app released a long time ago that did exactly this. i remember trying it out. no idea on the name tho. hmm.
awesome App!

That's the first thing I thought also... definitely interested in hearing the reviews on this aspect.

Could you add normal link to OP? If you use Tapatalk you can't open linked images.

I bought RingDimmer a while back and loved how it worked.. but it was a MASSIVE drain on my battery, usually 10%-15% by the end of the day was used by it..
And I had it set with the lowest sensitivity hoping it would update the volume less frequently..
Hope this works better.
possible to hide icon in notification bar? it's really expensive real estate there.

Well... yes, the application name is IntelliRing. I tried that app, it does what is suppose to do and there is no battery drain because it is not active in background all the time. App is inwoked on call, it measure noise around phone in 1-2 sec then pass the call through.
Excellent idea but I found a flaw (for me exactly) if my phone is at the table in empty room next to where I am, he will ring almost silent and I will not hear it and missed a call. That is the thing that kill that app for me)
some more suggestions and clarifications
How much of a battery drain this app will be?
Some suggestions:
And also, for the pocket detection, it would be great if the option to enable vibrate is also available. Cos when we drive (by bike) and if the phone rings in the pockets that will help more than a loud ring tone. (if vibration intensity control also included, that would be great)
And also if there will be turn to mute option like it is available for samsung galaxy s3 phone or as available in the app called INTELLIRINGER that would be super awesome..
Hope to see more and more from this. I have a lot of respect for apps that come from members of XDA. They are performance oriented and are made out of passion.
Good luck.

I think you mean AutoVolume. Yes, actually seems the same idea.
After activating my phone rings and i can hear caller but they cant hear me. Bug!!!!
Very nice app!
If you need some help translating the app to French, I'd be happy to help. Great idea! Will install it soon!
Do you guys have any good settings for GB auto-brightness levels? I want to find something better than stock but Im not exactly sure how it fully works like if I have to set every level and such? Any info settings or otherwise would be greatly appreciated!
Any experienced auto brightness Gravity Box users care to chime in?

ya would love some insight here too, tried to make it dimmer but i think a sorta rundown on what these numbers represent and such would be great before i tweak more so i have an idea WTF it is im doing.
Hello all
I have a OnePlus One running CM12 (unofficial). My haptic feedback for virtual button presses is very weak in comparison to my Nexus 5. In fact I can't really feel them at all - just hear them. I *may* have affected performance of the motor a when trying to solder a Qi receiver into the handset, as I accidentally touched the battery live to the motor causing it to run at full power for a few seconds. It is weak on both CM12 and Paranoid Android. Anyway, I just want to make the haptic feedback duration for virtual button presses a few milliseconds longer so it's more noticable.
I have managed to do this for Google Keyboard in the app settings and it works nicely.
Otherwise, vibration intensity is already set to maximum (in both the CM settings and system settings), which is fine for notifications, but I really need to increase the duration of haptic feedback, not the intensity.
I have read that Franco kernel offers this, but as far as I understand it doesn't support lollipop yet. Does anyone know of another kernel which supports haptic feedback adjust?
Thanks
Mike

Hi
Thanks, but this is intensity which is already set to 31 (100%) on my device. I need to increase the duration, not the intensity.
Hi Mike, I don't know about other ROMs but I used to run Liquidsmooth's Lollipop and it worked fine with Franco kernel, although it was a bit unoptimized that's nothing that can't be fixed in Synapse.
Which Franco kernel did you use? CM or AOSP?
Guys, i'm fed up with notifications working sloppy on my 6. Sometimes the phone doesn't ring when a notifications pops up, even tough it's in RING mode, sometimes it doesn't show notifications at all. Adaptive battery and deep optimization are off. And the important apps have "Don't Optimize" as well.
What can i do to have notifications work all the time? I'm getting enough of my phone's refusal tantrum.
xXx magisk rom helps some with this.
Custom roms helps some.
I'm not 100% sure.. But I also think Smurf kernel made some edits that might counter it aswell (more than just zram to try to keep apps in BG)
Im on liquid remix + smurf atm and I don't have any issues with notifications.
But I didn't have such bad experience with oos either. Some Twitter + Instagram notifications, but that's all basically
I hesitate using custom ROMs cause i really like the default one. But if this continues, i'm forced to change. This is unacceptable.
