There is a new sound panel...The notch display bug is fixed...camera seems better, plus has portrait mode in front facing...that's all I've noticed so far

Woah. I'm shocked how amazing and beautiful new Beta is. Sooo many new features. A lot of new Pixel features are here too! And camera quality has improved soooo much. Pictures look sharp and have better dynamic range. I'm very satisified with this update. I used Beta 2 for like a month as a daily driver and I liked it a lot, but Beta 3.. all my dreams came true. Check screenshots in attached files.

Well, I don't plan to root...I don't see any new nav gesture...but it does have the new recents panel
Anyway to fix Bluetooth music play?
I have wipe all and install dp3 in twrp, after this i flash twrp.zip and magisk 16.4 but dont boot up. Boot only in recovery. Why not boot? How can i return now?

If you flash magisk after flash a rom (here DP3) it's normal, you must flash rom, twrp, boot to system, and after flash magisk via TWRP

So far the update feels nice, everything is smooth and the battery life seems to have gotten a bit better. 55% battery left with ~4h of SOT(constant 80% brightness). BUT, for some reason, the AOD drains just as much as it did before and I can't help but think there is something wrong about it, it drains ~1%/30-45 min. I don't know if that's how it should be, but if you have any questions about the update, I'll answer them.

It looks decent now, the beauty effect seems to have been drastically reduced, BUT I think this happened a few updates before this one.
Mm m.... I'm on 131 and nothing happened since 107: same front camera very unusable..... So 150 I hoped was better....

Dont use anything above 16.4 on P20 Pro, the magiak hide is buggy
Small update after testing.
Instagram scrolling 10 times better.
Front camera, can even see my rinckes for the first time.
So far so good.
Volte I don't lose 4g (didn't before,hence I have 2 Sims,but no volte sign when calling (although I can no see the option to activate volte in the settings.

Face unlock won't work because its xiaomi's own implementation

Sorry for the naïve question, but is it likely that Xiaomi's face unlock feature can be incorporated within custom ROMs? Presumably they'd have to really honour their commitment to be developer friendly in order to release this, but is it anticipated?

Well... No matter our device is so called "developer friendly". But main thing is "if" AOSP's upstream supports it. For example fingerprint works on custom roms because its api is already available for us,no need to do extra fuss to rewrite the code. But about that face recognition IR sensor

Sorry bro i rolled back to miui. But about notification as far i remember
Its same time was showing at left and sim/battery was on right. Don't know about notification, yea but we got heads up display feature, which is far better than miui's implementation of heads up display

When I try to flash the image on my phone, it only takes a few seconds for it to work (which I find quite suspicious since it's quite heavy) and then when I want to reboot it bootloop once and then go to fastboot mode. Do you have any idea what am I doing wrong? I've tried redownloading the image, extracting it again, flashing it a few times nothing seems to work.

On the main thread someone said that the last update (which doesn't boot on our device) fixed the notch compatibility. So how is it on the previous build? Can we see them properly? Are they cropped?
I wasn't participate in beta program, so I suppose it start to rolling out globally.

Anyway, is it possible to change the corner radius for natifications panel? It looks prety odd now
Camera on my device works just fine after a factory reset.
My only problem now is how to remove the cellular signal since i only like to have just both wifi signal and battery only.
i tried hiding the cellular signal using the UI tuner but it seens to not work, any ideas?
Cons: the fact that the stock launcher is only the one who gets integrated in the recents is really bad, try using another custom launcher and the recents just get bad.

I'm in Poland and I just got the update. What's interesting is that I now have battery percentage in the statusbar.
Edit: Battery percentage can now be enabled using SystemUI tweaks.

I am From Pakistan And Subscribed To Beta By Recruitment Process. But Somehow Haven't Selected Yet . And As Well As Process Define Above Does Not Work Too And The Update Haven't Received Yet By Itself.

Unlocking bootloader option never been an issue on my side....and I'm still on pie 52.0.A.3.84 (waiting for a drm fix to do so and I must say this is the first I used an Xperia un-rooted for that long ?)

We are all facing the issue with enable OEM Unlock. If you enabled before upgrade to pie, it will keep the setting enabled. For clean flash, it is diabled by default and can't be enabled.

Because in my home I use wifi all the time and this doesn't matter. (restrict apps data in background)
I left only WhatsApp, E-mail, OneFootball, KWGT, Instagram and Tesla Unread "freed".

OTA file is stored in root directory under cache folder after dowloading it as I know so basically someone could be able to grab it and share it.

Try to download apk from here https://github.com/topjohnwu/magisk_files/tree/canary. Then patch stock dp4 boot.img. I don´t have the patched one,I deleted it.

Yes it's smooth but interms of features and accessibility it's a backward step.
1) Removal of screenshot button in power menu
2) Removal of most used apps in recent screen

Screenshot is more accessible than pressing a button, I don't use any buttons, just swipe up and screenshot is down below, except for powering off, used gestures all than time S2S and so on with clean slate kernel, 2 and 3 don't mind and don't use it at all. That's my opinion, plus on this ROM sometimes it freezes...so far on 11 nothing so far. But it all depends on who uses it...at least developers giving us an option, just stating the fact coz I used both Pixel dust caf and aosp... there's a hiccup freezes sometimes. Anyway, enough with this, this is Pixel Dust topic anyway
