My device is MTCD_KD v 1.27 on RK 3188
I also use the hal9k mod.
Is there any ROM in your experience that would make the unit faster. After boot I have to wait many minutes before the yutbue or other programs to be accessed

Hal9k 5.1.1 is the fastest rom for my rk3188 1gb ram.
I'm using microG and trying not to install unnecessary app.

I have a Yarvik Xenta 7ic but the original firmware is rather unstable (drops/disables WiFi, random reboots) while playing games. I'vee been trying to get it to run custom/original ROMs from similar RK3066 devices (Nextway F7, Hyundai Hold x700 (BT version), Pipo Ultra U2). Only one Pipo U2 ROM has worked but without tilt detection. I've also been trying to get Oma's RK3066 ROM (crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?p=1913) to work but only the lastest CM 10.1 v1.3.2 boots but it constantly force closes com.android.phone.
I've been flashing only the system.img from Oma's ROM. The rest (parameter, boot.img, loader, kernel.img, etc.) I ripped from the original firmware. I already got CWM from this site: androtab.info/clockworkmod/rockchip/rk3066/
Questions:
Any other ROMs I could try?
How do I get rid of the com.android.com FCs?
Did I make a mistake while flashing Oma's CM ROM?

Use packs as they are, only change the kernel. Flash acc. to instructions incl. eraseIDB.

Actually, there is an updated firmware. Here: forum.yarvik.com/forum/xenta-series/firmware_ae/3893-tab07-200-xenta-7ic-android-4-1-1-jelly-bean-january-2013-update (I can not post outside links since I am a new user)
Could there be any benefits in extracting the kernel from that firmware?
Since I'm planning to buy this tablet and connect it to a USB DAC, can anyone tell me if the Crew RKTablets rom supports usb audio (snd-usb-audio module)?

I strongly suggest you to choose snapdragon. you will find everything in it. and its developers friendly. open source. mediatek is not so good for custom rom & dev

you may hare about CM11, paranoid android, etc best custom rom. they are not for mediatek soc, cause mediatek is not open source

I would like to install Xposed on my rooted Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) Marshmallow 6.0.1 Stock Rom, but I noticed on the official post of Xposed that Samsung Device are not supported..
I have any chance to install it without bootloop or bricking my phone ? With a custom version of Xposed maybe ?

I simply installed this installer file apk - (don't open - it only works after flashing)
Reboot to TWRP recovery
and then installed/flashed SDK22 X86 ARM 64 custom zip
Wanam has some great Modules too!
Sorry, only use SDK22 if you are on Lollipop
SDK22 means Android Lollipop 5.1.x
SDK23 means Android Marshmallow 6.0.x

I would like to officially request support from @Arnova8G2 to port his mod to the J7 MAX. J7 MAXcurrently runs on Android 7.0 Stock with expected update to Oreo this year. It has a 64 bit processor but runs on ARM only. With the latest google camera mods, an ARM64 is required. Hoping @Arnova8G2 can make an ARM version of his mods to support ARM phones like the J7 MAX..
Would be a dream to have the Google Camera Portrait Mode on the J7 MAX WITHOUT ROOT.
