Snapchat is strictly looking for xposed I just found this out because I unrooted, but xposed was installed still and I couldn't log in, but then I rerooted and uninstalled xposed and I logged in so we need an xposed cloak
I finally decided to root and install xposed on my note 5 and I hadnt realized i couldn't use Snapchat anymore. I would love an xposed cloak. I tried flashing the xposed Uninstaller but that put my phone in a boot loop until i installed again.
Not a direct solution, but isn't Casper close to Snap even tho not the official app?
I found a work around for it my phone died and I signed into my sc from another device used it and logged off when I tried signing in on my phone I got temp login failure notice this is what I did to get back on:
On a second device, download latest version and sign into Snapchat
Once done, root second device and download titanium backup
Make a back up of Snapchat from second device and send the .tibkp back up or whatever to the first device
On first device download latest version of snapchat and titanium back up and restore the data only from the file you sent to the first device from the second device
Once done use sc like normal
Works fine unless you sign out from Snapchat on the second device so what I did is I froze Snapchat on the second device and erased the back up.
I haven't really had issues with Snapchat, but my Xposed has been a little weird lately.
I pretty much use 3rd party apps these days.

First of all i want to know how can i Stay encrypted and Install magisk 13.3 ?
currently i'm using SuperSU 2.82 SR3,My data is decrypted.
Rom:C185B184
Google Play: Uncertified
Last night,i've tried Suhide, and i couldnt pass ctsProfile...
and also Suhide has some bugs, like u cant uninstall any app when its activated and u cant Deactivate Suhide, unless u do full unroot.
And Also how can install Viper4Android's Driver Using SuperSU ?
Flash this for Magisk 13.3: https://mega.nz/#!I4FQzbyA!gBZelHmD3lGGwzGISUXkf7GQTUAq5i785d_qPHQOaVE
Or 13.5: https://mega.nz/#!V8EXRRoB!Dlv4gxa7smUhnacjVzHRVemLtZtKKTBfdQ5z0NhCQwY
Though you say you are decrypted now, flashing 13.3 or 13.5 will re-encrypt your /data.
If you want to stay decrypted, flash official 13.3 or 13.5.
Flash back your stock B184 boot image first.
As for SafetyNet, the build you're using is a beta, and pretty recent so it may not be approved by Google (and since beta it might not be approved later either). The even more recent build for your model is B186, and that's definitely not approved yet (released 14th of August).
You should be able to install V4A if you set selinux for permissive. Or you can flash this: https://mega.nz/#!J1FyiSLT!WQVsJ3DWNq3l-HDKcg06ISB4J5COpdabR8Q36A_R_LE
Or if you switch to Magisk there's a V4A module for it in Magisk Manager - Downloads.
i've installed B186 and its certified.
so can tell me how to install magisk on a fresh rom ? 0- 100
cause i've tried this before and i've faced bootloop !
Safetynet Problem
So I've figured it out until u don't unlock bootloader, u can pass safetynet without any problems.
Once I've unlocked my bootloader, I've got CTS Profile error...
Plus I'll get random FC since upgraded to B184 using Hwota method!
I'm on B186 right now and I've got FC again in chrome during this reply
Update!
Help me @ante0

Did it pass CTS and basic on B186 before flashing magisk?
The FC, does apps close suddenly without warning? If so I think it's something else because it happens to me too on C432 B194. Same for people on c636 B188.
Could be the phone manager that's too strict.

Yes,I've Tried it before unlocking bootloader and it passed successfully ,and google play Status was certified too.
before installing magisk, right after i unlockd bootloader!
and then i install magisk and tried again, then both basic integrity and CTS profile failed.
Yes,Sometimes when u r using apps, they suddenly close and jump into app drawer, and when i open them again they start over.
(like chrome,Clash royale,Last Day on earth,Instagram...)

Is magisk hide enabled in Magisk Manager? If not, check log in Manager to see if it tried to enable. Else try enabling USB debugging and disable then enable Magisk hide.
If it enables after that you're in the same boat as the rest of us. Mine actually worked flawlessly for a week or so, then I had to keep enabling USB debugging to get it running....
Not sure of it's intentional by Huawei that USB debugging gets disabled. Same goes for adb, have to enable USB debugging after each reboot to get it running. I guess a Tasker script could be made to enable it, and disable/enable magiskhide at boot.
Hello there
I am running a custom ROM on my Galaxy S8 and it is rooted using Magisk rather than SuperSU. SnapChat works fine with Magisk as it does not detect the root, however I've tried everything with the Barclays Mobile App but I just get stuck on the first screen and nothing happens afterwards.
At first it used to ask me to grant it root permissions and of course I did, but it has never actually worked.
I am not completely sure, but I have a feeling it has to do with the fact that my device is rooted.
Can someone please shed some light on this? I really need to get this application working as it is important for me. Do I have to go back to completely stock in order to use this application?
Thanks!
yes, it doesn't work on rooted devices. One of the ways that it tries to detect root is by trying to get root, as it happened in you case. By granting it root access, you marked your phone as rooted, and disabled the app. In case you were wondering, it has many other ways to detect root. It used to work with magisk hide, but I tried just today, and it seems that they can detect it too, as I can't use it anymore. By the way, your phone is flagged as rooted, and you will either have to do a factory reset to get it working, or call Barclays, but I think that there is no way to get it working. If you find out how to get it to work, please share it.

Barclays app worked for when I was using magisk v14. Since update magisk v.15 barclays app stop working. If you can try to install magisk v.14
P.s. I was using magisk v14 and somehow magisk updated itself to v.15
Hey guys,
i finally did it and rooted my device with Magisk. It was horrible to erase all of my data, even if u got a littler backup. So now Magisk and Root works great and without problems, safety pass and so on, but i want to install Xposed to for XInsta and stuff.
So i tried many explanations to get it installed, but i always get into a bootloop. I tried it to install via the Magisk Manager itself. Then with Xposed.apk installed and manually over recovery. I also did what some videos say and gave Xposed Installer.apk permissions and wiped dalvik/cache after the install of the SDK. But i can do what i want, i'll get into a bootloop.
How can that be?
Device is a normal SM-G930F with Stock Nougat 7.0 (SDK24)
you will lose safety pass
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.
you need update magisk to 14.3

@atarum0r0
So i would lose safety pass? Then i would not be the thing i am happy with, because i use snapchat and so on. No different ways? Didn't even know that there's a higher version of Magisk than 14.0.

if you want xposed, there are no other ways, unfortunately at the moment
Magisk 14.3 is beta release
@atarum0r0
So you know that or when a fix will come for this? Or how i get known of this?

@atarum0r0
OK I updated Magisk to 14.3 and with the Magisk Manager I installed the Xposed Framework Systemless SDK24 and what happend? Bootloop. God damn it man.
Ok I've installed Xposed APK previously before framework, but that shouldn't do any difference. So why the hell does is not work for me? Is it because Stock ROM?
i am sorry, i have not problem and i'm using THE GALAXY PROJECT ROM https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/development/rom-galaxy-project-t3440314

1. Install XPOSED INSTALLER FOR MAGISK . APK
2. Flash xposed through magisk manager
3. Reboot
Bootup takes some time. Also for snapchat: once you've logged in, there's no need to worry about safetynet failing to pass.
@iorpheus96
Dude i just did that. Xposed Version 3.1.2 is installed. I go into Magisk manager on downloads and select Xposed Framework (SDK 24). I press to install directly and it reboots, but will never wake up again from bootloop.

I just did that. It was also my idea and i thought maybe that would help but it didn't.
Ok i have news. The systemless does not work for me. Normal downloaded Xposed V88.2 SDK24 worked. You were right. Restart needed much time but worked. I tried Systemless again also, but after 10 minutes my S7 war thermonuclear warm but still booting. I surrendert systemless. The only advantage is, that updates still work or what?
It there a way to install xposed and pass safetynet?
Some guides say it wont pass and most don't even mention it.
There are no known methods to get xposed to pass safetynet while it's enabled. It's simply too invasive and detectable.
Your options are to use an app like xposed switch to turn it off when you need safetynet, or if using the magisk module, disable the module when you need safetynet.
For snapchat you can login with xposed disabled, then turn it on after logged in, and it will continue to work.

Thanks for the answer.
I don't have snapchat so that won't be a problem.
Any other apps that I have to apply this process? Like Android Pay for example? I use that often.
Android pay would probably need you to turn it off.
I have heard that some apps don't actually require SafetyNet to pass in its entirety, only that some aspects have to pass, which Magisk hide can do with Xposed on. But I think Android pay needs a full pass, which can't happen with Xposed on.
That's a bummer. Seems I won't install xposed then :/
I just started running StagOS and it was perfect until snapchat wouldldn't login. I flashed the magisk uninstaller and reinstalled snapchat but it still won't let me login. I can login on my OnePlus 3 which is rooted with Magisk which makes it weirder. Do you have any tricks to make it work?
